I saw the fang theory, and i have a similar one! So, Neito's eyes are inverted - the pupil is white/lighter than his irises, and while a lot of other characters have this trait too, i think it would be cool if those were contact lenses! And that while his real eyes are still blue, his pupils are actually slits! (just like his big sis ^^) It's cool to think about - especially with the copyCAT impression in mind.

You... are so galaxy-brained. I LOVE this headcanon and the copycat motif?? Man, now I want a fic that’s just his classmates finding out that he wears contact lenses (like if one of them just pops out so it’s half slit and half lenses) and getting curious about why he goes through the effort. Maybe even someone who’s fought Toga up close may begin to recognize some similarities...

I love this theory, honestly. We know Toga had a lot of younger siblings, but it won’t work cuz Neito and Himiko have different surnames. I like to think of them as cousins, though.

i also accept the cousin theory. i understand the siblings theory is bound to be less canon because of the surname things but people have said that its possible monoma’s family changed names after toga’s serial killer crimes became public.

either way the mere confirmation that they’re related would be enough for me

So at first Monoma sought Kendou as an older sister replacement figure - he never truly viewed her as her own person but merely illused himself that she was Himiko because he just couldn't let her go until one day he has this weird-ass nightmare where Toga holds a knife against his throat and he's about to die but then she says "I'm not her" and he blinks and realises the eyes change as does the hair and he soon realises that it's Kendou about to kill him and he wakes up panicked and anxious and he quickly heads off to her dorm to see if she's still up (she usually is) and she lets him in and he wordlessly just collapses into her arms - seeing her for the first time as her and not as a false depiction of his real older sister and the whole time she returns his embrace without hesitation as he clings onto her cause he doesn't want to lose his sister again.
