āSince arriving at Hopeās Peak, Byakuya Togami had come across many unlikelihoods. Despite his family being amongst the most powerful in the world, he had yet to be rescued, trapped in a high school by a mysterious mastermind controlling a robot bear. As well as that, he knew one of his classmates was an infamous serial killer, and that one of his most formidable opponents in this killing game was a common boy with a knack for solving murders. Even before Byakuya was imprisoned here, he had already defied all expectations when he was chosen to be the Togami Conglomerateās heir apparent. Until him, the youngest was never selected, but he proved himself superior to all his half-siblings.
That was all to say it would take something extraordinary to blindside him. Something beyond belief. All but impossible. Such as swapping bodies with Touko Fukawa.ā

Byakuya couldnāt make any sense of it. If he had been taken to a laboratory where a scientist, surgeon or butcher switched his brain with Toukoās, he might have acknowledged there was a non-zero chance of this being able to happen. According to Monobear, though, all it had done was tie some string around Toukoās diary, and when he touched it at the same time as Touko, that was enough to transfer their minds to the otherās body. There had to be more to what occurred than what Monobear let on, but shortly after it explained to them what happened, it disappeared.
Now, Byakuya and Touko were sheltering in his bedroom, trying to figure out how to reverse their bodyswap. Byakuya couldnāt spend the rest of his life in a scrawny body like this one while Touko inhabited his perfect one. A low hum buzzed behind his teeth as he inspected the diary again. Technically, they were Toukoās teeth, and the sound he made was created by her vocal cords. And it was her hands that turned over the diary, with her stubby, uneven fingernails. He was merely in control, for now.
