People keep saying stuff like “Dallas is better without EFFECT” *cough leakboi slasher* or “EFFECT’s attitude dragged the team down and that’s why they performed so poorly.” I can’t even express how completely wrong these statements are.

How can we say the team is better without EFFECT? Last time he was playing, they were still under Kyky’s control, who has no regard for his players and their mental health and did nothing to help any of them out, especially EFFECT and Rascal who were transitioning to US life. EFFECT left when we were in the middle of getting a new coach, and was never under Coach Aero’s control/presence or the positivity he seemed to radiate. When EFFECT was still in the US playing, literally the whole team was in a shitty mental state and borderline depressed, constant NMA. If you recall, Taimou had to take a huge break from playing and tweeted on how depressed he was all the time and how much confidence he was lacking. This is something the entire team was suffering from, but people only focused on EFFECT because he was “the star” and he left to go home to take care of himself.

Also, EFFECT hasn’t played in this meta at all on stage, rarely even on stream. How the fuck can anyone assume that Dallas is better without EFFECT when he hasn’t even gotten a chance to play, in the new meta and with the new coach? That’s complete bullshit. idk where this idea of EFFECT being a tracer one trick comes from, his Zarya is godly and would be so useful in this meta, along with his doomfist which, if he had played this meta, could’ve REALLY shaken things up. Also, his Widow and McCree are amazing, and he’s a great Genji for when Seagull has to play DVA. Who knows how good of a Bridgette he could be?
