When Good Things Come to an End.
*As much as I want to have a picture with everyone, I'm sorry. Nahiya ako sa iba =)) HAHAHA. I'm still trying :> He he he
In just a blink of an eye, another term will come to an end.
I have to confess that this term was really a depressing term for me. I hate the fact that I am waking up early everyday for stressful 8am classes and because of this, I’ve always looked forward for each day to end and hopefully the term shall end as soon as possible. Yes, it’s been stressful. This term gave me so much that made me feel hopeless in terms of my grades and the workload is too much that I don’t know what to do anymore. Despite everything, there are still things that gave me hope and revived my happiness and that is my friends who have been with me throughout the term and ENGLCOM C37.
At first, ENGLCOM was just an ordinary course for me. I even hated it at first because I’m a type of person who prefers Math over English. I only expected that at the end of the term, I would be able to enhance my vocabulary and improve my essay skills, but right now, it gave me things way beyond my expectations. I didn’t expect that I would meet new friends I would be comfortable with. ENGLCOM C37 has gone way close than what I have expected. I just felt that this subject is too perfect from the set of professors (hello sir Selwyn & sir Ralph) to the set of classmates. :)
I can say that ENGLCOM has molded to who I am today. It helped me develop my reading and critical thinking skills through the reading exercises provided in RVLC class. It also gave me a chance to explore the other side of life through the media logs, which I believe was strategically created for us to relate on. Also, it developed my skills in essay writing. It gave me a chance to express myself and in a way, it gave me confidence.
As the term ends, it’s not the course I’ll really miss, but the people who have been with me in this subject. ENGLCOM is definitely the subject I’ve been looking forward every single day because this is the subject where I get my happiness despite the stress/workload the subject brings. With the fact that it’s ending, it gives me the separation anxiety because of my classmates. I don’t know but this is the class wherein I don’t feel any awkward moments with my classmates. Maybe it’s because we’re all first year students and there is something within our personality that connects us together. I really like the feeling, but sadly nothing’s permanent. I’m grateful that I belong to this class and I’ll forever treasure the moments I’ve had with them.
Here’s to the new friends I’ve met in this class:

“Now that it’s ending, I wanna savor this moment. Everything is changing one step closer.”
