Content of the messages are from a text conversation shared between my mother and brother in California. Screenshots of the original messages were sent to me from both family members, seeking clarity, as each side was interpreted in staggeringly different ways. The viewer is given the option to change key words and their succession, altering the tone and meaning of the conversation. This reflects the manipulation and disconnection of communication between the two, leaving room for the information to be disrupted.
