Fourth Wing brainrot is real so I made a Sgaeyl pillow (also made Tairn but gave it to my friend and forgot to take a pic I’ll ask for one later)

Everything I made in July!!
3 garments & one microcrochet project
Since I've posted a ton about all 3 garments already I won't bore y'all with the details ;)
The stegosaurus (top, mostly blue dino) is crocheted with crochet thread and made up of African flower hexagons, pentagons, and a couple of septagons. I believe a pattern exists, but I didn't use one, I just looked at pictures. After making both of these dinos so close together, I will be taking a very long break from microcrochet, but I'm so proud of the end result for both of them!

Nobody talks about how hobbies like crochet and knitting have suspense, anxiety, and gambling involved and it’s all thanks to a self inflicted game called yarn chicken
Blanket progress!
The first is my first completed motif (the blanket has 16 of these total! 🙃) The second shows my little piles of squares that I need to make up the motif. 36 squares per motif, 16 motifs for the whole blanket for a grand total of 576 3.75” squares!
I ran out of white yarn and had to order more (because I can’t do math 😅) which came in today! I have 16 more squares to do… so only 256 more to go before I can start sewing them together!
This is my “pattern” basically. It’s inspired by half-square triangle quilts, as my aunt is a big quilter. Once I finish the squares, and get them sewn into motifs, I can start putting the blanket together. Hopefully it’ll be done the week before Christmas because I know the sewing is going to be a bitch and I’ll need to put a border on it.
Until then, more progress to come!
