Because of support, we are going forward with a ROTTMNT Pride Day or Pride in Rise Day as I call it

On May 23 we will fill the internet with ROTTMNT support in whichever way speaks to you. If you decide to join, then great! If you decide it’s not for you then that’s fine too. Here are a list of ways to celebrate PRIDE in RISE day

Leave positive reviews on IMDB or any other place that has a star system for RISE

Post fan art

Create 20 OC’s

This is not a excuse to be cruel, or put down any other variations of TMNT but if you decide to show PRIDE towards another tmnt show go ahead. I’ll also be posting reminders a a month and a week ahead of time

Hey all! My sem break just started and I’m reopening commissions again!

I have to say, Rise!Raph is such a nice change of character direction from the last few versions of Raphael—whom I still love dearly—we’ve gotten over the recent years.

This character change stems from a key difference: he’s the eldest turtle in this version.

This Raph is more openly sensitive, affectionate, and grounded emotionally. I realize these are not new personality traits for Raphael’s character. He’s always been the most emotional, passionate, and the braun of the team, but it is presented and explored differently in RotTMNT.

He openly loves teddy bears and animals. He is well mannered and polite. He is empathetic and compassionate—the first to usually shed a tear or feel bad about a failed mission/mistake. He is emotional but passionate. Arguably, the least selfish of the Rise!Boys. He’s aggressive yet gentle and fully in control. He sees the good in people/mutants/yokai. He still loves to fight but his character is not just rage and fights. And always the protector of his brothers.

Take this week’s new episode—the training is literally ‘capture the bandanna’—the usual—so he doesn’t accidentally hurt his brothers. He purposely found a paper foot soilder enemy he could actually go all out on for sparring to avoid injuring his brothers—then patches the guy up after each training session.

And it’s confirmed, he’ll purposely lose on the occasion as an ego boost for his siblings.

He has HEALTHY relationships with his family—most notably Leonardo, and I love it!

I was so excited for another Raphael centric episode, and it did not disappoint! He, unfortunately, seems to be the least popular of the RotTMNT crew, but I cannot get enough of Big Red.

I can’t wait for more!
