their relationship is so sweet to me, and i’m glad they bought him back for her funeral later on, her death can’t have been easy for him

so upsetting to see how many times christian thought he could convince syed to choose him, and how desperate he was for it that he just couldn’t stop himself going back to him 1 million times over

especially Zainab. I understand how difficult everything was for her as a devout Muslim woman and how in some way she just wanted safety for Syed but even if i could get past her reaction to Syed coming out to her, and her forcing him to go through with the marriage, and the way she spoke about Christian after she found out, as soon as she acted the way she did after syed’s suicide attempt that would have been it for me.
