i really want a new username but i have 0 ideas.. i've used variations of tldavidr on different sites for about 15 years so i fancy a change. i am open to suggestions!!

my plan is to watch 52 films by the end of this year! currently this is week 10 and i have seen 10 so i just have to keep on top of it :)

i was meant to go to the cinema tonight (for the first time in 4 years!) but i swear they changed the time of the film? originally it was listed as starting at 6:10. then i looked again today and it said 3:15 so i couldn't go cos of work.. i swear it said 6:10 first though cos i even wrote it in my calendar as 6:10... vue cinemas are gaslighting me!!!

hello i have been fairly busy lately!!! i've been reading a lot more than usual + getting on with writing my book. i went to see kim petras the other week and had a really good time. i've booked a few more gigs later in the year so i also have those to look forward to. i've been helping around the house a lot as well as we had to get a new roof (the old one was leaking which was a right ballache!)

this is maybe a silly complaint but i feel like too many singles get released nowadays and it's spoiling albums? starbenders did a 13-song album last year where 8 of the songs had been released as singles beforehand. i liked all those songs but the album felt like a compilation and not a crafted thing... has it always been this way or is this just how music gets released now?
