October 7th: 14 ___ in a trenchcoat

i saw them at the movie theater

they were doing great until their eyes started glowing when the lights went down

at least none of the staff noticed 

can I fucking not wake up in the morning to having drawn some spooky bullshit in my cryptid sketchpad??? no? well fuck

as far as I can tell, this is just a series of broken thoughts

october 5th: “my boyfriend, mothman”

notes: “’Mothman?’: As big as a man, but it’s definitely like a moth. Nothing like the statue that showed up in my internet search, though.”

October 4th: “Facial Hair Cryptid”

Notes: “’Cousin It’: Best description I can give, except this specimen floats around like some detached wizard’s beard. The big googly anime eye really gets to me.”

Oct 2nd: “Look Mom, Can I Keep It?” Bonus Round

October 2: “Look Mom, Can I Keep It?”

Notes: “This is a Puggle-Wug. My cousin brought it home when she found it in this box. My aunt wasn’t pleased, but its name is Duggy and I think it ate the cat last week”

My youngest cousin renamed it to “Puggie-Wug” because she’s adorable. 

I’m late posting this, but I drew it on October 1st and I’m still on track with the official Cryptid Core drawing prompt challenge, so there.

My notes read: “Johnny Appleseed: A curious cryptid I’ve caught in the local orchards a few times. I think there’s more than one, but they all claim the same name. Cool American tall tale, right?”
