I missed it when it originally came out & it's my favorite Ghost record.

At the end of the day, I love him bc of the joy & strength his music personally brings to me. Mike's music is my brain medicine. It's been the soundtrack to my life since I was a kid. Period. I use this platform to vent abt the current shenanigans, but at the end of the day, it's not *really* stressing me out to be a fan.

I ventured onto one of the older forums (so, my fault...I did this to myself 🤣), & could not believe that some of the same folks from literally *thirty* years ago are still melting down abt the same shit. If after decades of being in the madness, you're still making yourself physically sick & spending all your time in the online fan space convincing others why the sky is falling, maybe take some time away. Get some help in *your* real life.

I left online MJ spaces for years after his death bc it was simply too much negative noise. MJ is gone. I need everyone to lock in & exist in reality. If something isn't bringing you joy, move on. Some ppl act like a gun is being held to their head while someone plays Thriller on repeat. 😵‍💫

No one is forcing anyone to be a fan. Or even openly defend him to *be* a fan; because it is alot. Two things can be true: You can be a fan & not spend every waking minute fighting for *his* life. You don't have to justify why you love him.

This might be an overall larger symptom about how ppl behave in fandom anymore or even how ppl are coping with life in 2026, but that's a whole other topic.
