Like ok, his face being flushed and dark, his brows drawn and his eyes shining, that I can understand... to a point
But, how his veins stood out in his, long sinewy neck? His nostrils dilated with... animal lust? Holmes snarling!?

Absolutely missed out last year on the amazing Shekhar Home, an Indian original series based on Holmes which takes place in 1990s Bengal, but I am fully on board now. Reading the hound of the Baskervilles again and I find Watson's reasons to go to Baskerville Hall very funny
Because, his reason are 1) it might be a fun adventure, 2) Holmes said something nice about him, and 3) Sir Henry is very happy about it
So basically if you want to convince Watson to do something you need 2 things: something that could be dangerous but fun and handsome men being nice to him
