Returned Fandom Artist

It's been a while since I posted so I apologize.

This is well a different post. As those who may know already, I approach the classic Teen Titans Show with a mixture of the old comics and unused ideas. One of them was something that was never explored. The idea of Dick Grayson and Donna Troy being a couple.

It was never realized for some reason (Though many see them as more siblings but I digress) I personally am one of the rare people that like the idea of them being more than best friends.

Up front, I don't mind Robin and Starfire as a couple elsewhere, just not in the TT cartoon. (Personal reasons as the show didn't explore beyond the episodes, the TTGo comics tried but honestly I didn't like them that much.)

Anyway, in the fandom world of my character Aura Blaze, Robin and Star do date after Tokyo but it only lasts for a few months.

She didn't just have feelings for Robin but my character at the same time. The difference being that this is more akin to the comics as the couple are on and off. She and Aura held back on telling their feelings. It wasn't till after he left for his own adventure that she admits to herself that she fell for him and didn't feel the same way with Robin anymore.

The relationship ends but its amicable (Albeit still heart breaking.). Starfire leaves the Titans for some serious soul searching (Its based on the limited comic the character had in the mid 2010's) with another character.

As for Robin he takes the breakup hard and is unable to deal with heroics. He steps down and leaves the tower himself, only to stay in the nearby town of Minaville Province. (The same place my character was raised in, outside of Jump City.) Just in case he needs to jump back if the team needs him.

For over a month, Robin lives outside of the mask. (Since the show never showed him outside of the uniform, this is an invention on my end since the cartoon never allowed everyone to use their real names.) As Dick Grayson, he gets set up in the Province Apartments, Money isn't an issue because of Bruce Wayne. Even getting a job to help pass the time.

Only Cyborg and Kid Flash knows where Robin is and out of respect for him, they keep quiet about it.

Living as a normal guy does become easier and he started to find himself over the next few weeks. One of the team does discover where he was, and of all people it turns out to be Donna Troy.

In this elseworld, he and Wonder Girl have known each other for years. (All the way as young kids since Batman and Wonder Woman work together.) Only when Robin left for Jump City is when he stopped talking to her due to an incident in Gotham. Only when he reaches out to her do they reconnect. (Both before and during season 5)

Donna and Richard meet up and she learns that he was not just taking a break from being a hero, but to live outside of the job while dealing with his own heart break.

Near Valentines day, Dick is planning to return to the team soon. Before making any more preparations, Donna arrives at his apartment, dressed up for the occasion.

In this else world, Troy does have unfrequented feelings for the Titan Leader, instead of just rushing in, she takes her time to help Robin heal from having to let Starfire go.

Same in the comics, both Titans have a close bond.

It's unplanned and random but spending the day with Donna was what he really needed...even when he isn't ready to say it out loud.

Yeah I'm a Robin and Wonder Girl coupling fan. I think they would be great, even though its not realized in the comics. That's what else world are for.

Who knows, it might happen someday.

Province Style Part 3

This one I've had done for months and getting down to posting it fell on the back burner.

Unlike the others, this one is two originals and two canon characters.

There are a few mistakes here and there but it still came out good. Anyway...from left to right.

Esper Huldra: My second TT Original creation after Aura Blaze. She's an else-world version of Blackfire, and a member of the Sentinels of Avalon. Much like the original badgirl of Tamaran, Esper likes to dress with an edge.

She has specific preferences towards corsets, and long gloves. The corset thing is obvious while the gloves are to cover her scars on both arms. Accidents caused when her light knives detonated by accident. Esper normally wears pants but every now and then she throws on a skirt just to turn heads.

Gabriel Winchester: This TTOC belongs to TheEyepatchedGhost on Deviant Art. Also known as Lycan, Gabe normally wears clothing that covers up much of his body due to battle scars from previous battles. He has a knack for trendy and fashion styles.

I pictured him going for logo style shirts, jeans, finger less gloves and hiking boots. People back in the early 2000's and late 90's really gravitated towards this style. And yes he smokes XD

Jinx: The punk in pink had her face turn in the show and was a serious threat for much of the cartoon. She too was from the comic but was vastly different. I didn't know much about the character other than she was a real bad a$$ with wicked powers. So what better way to represent her than keeping to the punk/goth style she made famous.

She strikes me as someone who'd be into custom leather jackets, converse, tanks and either shorts or skirts. Keeping to her style while showing it differently. Mixing in lighter colors like white and baby blues to offset her darker colors. Showing that there's more to her than just the HIVE and Titan bad luck witch. Also I thought having her hair down would be pretty.

Kid Flash: Another Titans original from the comics (Including Robin, Wonder Girl) Only he was brought in VERY late in the show. There wasn't much with him unless you looked into the TTGO comics where he was used more. (Albeit limited in certain stories, plus the comic was more towards younger kids)

A big Halloween post, biggest one since my Deviant Art days

There is a little story behind this.

The Titans are asked by Aura's young niece (From his sister figure) Marceline if they could do a Wizard of OZ theme for Halloween. Up front you'd think that they wouldn't do it, but since the team (Especially Robin, Star, Donna and BB) have close relations with the young girls family, they go all out.

Both Merceline and Troy are Dorothy (Both book and movie versions), Robin as the Scarecrow, Cy and the Tinman, BB as the Cowardly Lion, Lycan (A good friend's TTOC) is the Wizard, Terra as Glinda and Raven as Elphaba. (Yes I'm going with the wicked approach)

Unfortunately for Aura, he got the short end of the stick. He was the only one who did not wear Robin's uniform in the Quest episode. As such he opened his mouth and said.

"A province punk ever compromises his style for anything or anyone except on time of the year...Halloween"

This bit him in the a$$, Robin and the team got Blue too put the damn uniform on...tight pants and all. (God that design is not pretty lol)

But its not a total loss, originally Starfire was going to wear one of Donna's uniforms.

(In this else-world, Robin and Troy become a couple, its based on an unused idea from the 80's and it came up in an episode of TTGO)

Instead Starfire opts to go for a more mythological idea based on Mermaids. She comes up with a mermaid style dress with the accessories to match. Believing that Aura needed a pleasant surprise despite him being stuck in Robin's uniform for his first Halloween back in Jump City.

The small animals with Blue and Star are furry companions of the team. Claire the Sphinx and Klein the Misthound.

Can't have Blackfire without the warrior princess herself, right?

Porcelain-Requiem gets a shout out for the uniform update idea she inspired me to do.

(Before I get into this, I will have some grievances. I apologize if fans of the classic show might not like hearing this. The 2003 cartoon earned its merits but its FAR from being perfect. Seeing it as an adult...yeah I have criticisms.)

Okay, I have a lot to say about my favorite Teen Titan. First, I was introduced to her through the cartoon. I thought she was cool and her abilities had me impressed. Although her character did have me scratching my head at times.

Once I looked into her original counterpart and her current (At the time) variation of her. Yeah I had a lot of questions and issues about her portrayal.

Starfire in the comics is meant to be one of the most dangerous Titans on the team. She and Raven most of all in my opinion. Virtually a force of nature from outer space. Yes she had problems, but there was growth as the comics went on.

Star in the cartoon was nerfed, understandably so but I feel that it went further. Being regulated as a damsel in distress in the show (Looking at it as an adult) when she's a beast in the comics bothered me a lot. Being rescued by Robin almost all the time? C'mon man, the others could easily get her out or she could save herself.

She had her conflicted moments but with all the outrageous crap she experienced, I assumed she would have matured a lot. Her character wasn't expanded much, even though the TTGO comics did their own thing, there wasn't much to fill in with her until late in its run. At that time, DC was trying to finish the series and I wasn't a fan of how it was done.

This is going to get me some flack, but the fact that (At the time) she was all about Robin. Yes this happened in the comics but look at the history, those two were on and off. Look, I know about character growth and all that, but the writers didn't do a good job. Starfire didn't get a lot of it, and at times was seen as childish. While understandable to an extent, it's only so much.

Personally...the romance between them should have had some repercussions, Robin did grow but he was still his own worst enemy at times. The comic version proved that and the show was a reminder. Star in comics had been in relationships other people, so it wasn't about Dick Grayson all the time.

Cartoon Star just wasn't that good at times and she wasn't handled well. Seasons 1 and 2 I can understand. Season 3 and so on, I feel she should have lost some of that innocent demeanor and be more independent like her comic version. I don't mean go off the rails...just be a bit more mature, grown up. If I saw that, then I'd be more forgiving.

I understand that not everyone would agree, but not everyone is right, even myself so that's my own opinion.

Call it a product of its time. Put simply, the show did things I wasn't a fan of. I am a supporter of Robin and Star in the comics and the awesome DCAMU flicks, just not the 2003 show.

OKAY...now that I got that out of my system. This else-world is a combination of the show, and the comics line

Else-world: Starfire is pretty much the same, but my version of her had to toughen up sooner than she was ready to. Enduring her home planet being invaded would have had lasting trauma that she would have to process. (Her TTGO origin and original comics go hand in hand for that inspiration)

Kori to me isn't just a Princess, she's a veteran of war. Literally the only Titan that has experience of that horrible life. Since it happened when she was 10 years old (In human years of the TTGO comics), Star wouldn't have had enough time to learn proper combat, which is why she didn't know anything about alien martial arts, while Blackfire was already training to fight back.

She's not completely defenseless, Queen Luand'r, her mother would take note and try to steer Starfire towards a more defensive style of combat; The Royal Protector. One where she doesn't have to relegate to murder. Sadly she doesn't master this form until later down the series timeline.

Also, Starfire would be knowledgeable in Tamaranian Medicine and healing. It's a callback to the show which I feel she would excel in. She would learn this from healers of her home world and would help trying to save the lives of wounded warriors. It wouldn't be till season 3 where she could start to employ this tactic, she would need the plants and components from Tamaran. After Bethrothed, she would have a greenhouse established at the tower and would start using her methods to help the Titans.

Much of the same things would play out, but rather than be a damsel in distress, she tries to fight back but is reckless and hot headed. At times she would appreciate Robin saving her, but would become annoyed when it happens too often.

The one part that is a big change, her close friendship with Erick Rovias. Star would find him in-between seasons 1 and 2. Their dynamic is that of her wanting to be a mentor but she too is struggling. She knows he is half alien and believes that she's the best one to help him. This happens after the Titans encounter him trying to help the team, he panics and flees. Star could tell that he was afraid but also has power she heard of.

They would meet (While she is in disguise) and overtime befriend him over one summer. It was about the mission, but being herself she would gain the trust of the boy and she would be instrumental in learning about being half-human, half-auranian. Aura (What he goes by from now on.) would be prominent in Starfire's growth as a person outside of heroics. Like in the show, Star loves being a hero, but it's not something she wants all the time. The kid pretty much shows her what life is like outside of heroics, both the good and the bad.

Starfire is still infatuated with Robin, but overtime develops feelings for Aura. She's conflicted and despite getting together with Robin, Star can't fully shake off the unrequited feelings for him. Both Aura and her would come close a few times but fate seems to intervene. She believes that meeting Robin was a destined thing for her but not knowing that feelings could change would clash with her emotions. The idea of falling for someone else was something no one told her.

Her time with Robin wouldn't last, but the split wouldn't be damning. Robin would let her go but not push her out of his life. It would be bittersweet but seeing that she'd fallen for someone else, he would want to respect her feelings. (Rather than shoehorn my character. I still wanted to acknowledge that the show and movie events still happened but with some tweaks during and post events.)

Much like in the modern comics, Starfire would leave the team for a while. Traveling with Esper (Another character I created) and eventually she would return a more refined and confident Titan. Both she and Aura would reunite after one full year from his adventures and they would finally admit their feelings. This time without unwanted interruptions...

Traits: Starfire in this universe is both a child of war but also someone who's trying to find her place in the world. Saving people and heroics stems from the fact that people died on Tamaran and she witnessed it. She's still naive but her intelligence and perception is more displayed.

As a trained Healer, Star could use both her Tamaranian acupressure and manipulation. Her strongest trait would be using medicinal herbs and mixtures to aid in healing and recovery. Proving that she's bad at cooking but excellent with medicine.

Her relationships with her friends are more fleshed out. Robin would always be her first love but its not meant to be, he's one of her best friends in the end.

The main three boys play a bigger role in her development as a Titan, she would improve combative and strategy wise thanks to them. Even finishing in mastering her mother's combat form.

Raven would show Starfire that meditation doesn't just help with her powers. It would also help temper Starfire's heated emotions and not fly off the handle so much.

Aura would teach Starfire how to wield a sword. She inherits her mother's Royal Claymore after she died and the Blue Titan instructs her how to wield the weapon properly. In short, both Starfire and Aura Blaze mentor one another. Even after getting together, their training sessions as warriors don't lose their intensity.

Through Esper, the Princess would receive a new uniform that was crafted in Avalon. The Assassin would borrow one of Star's uniforms and ask's her blacksmith brother: Albus, if he could create something better. A hybrid combination of Alien and Avalonian style. (Based on the drawing above)

She doesn't use the Royal Claymore unless things are absolutely dire. The weapon can be empowered with Starbolt energy and its a callback to the sword she used in TTGo cartoon. Very Powerful but also dangerous is handled wrong.

While not something I typically venture into, Blackfire is one of the more complicated comic characters I've looked up on. Much like with Starfire, I first heard of the wild sister from the cartoon.

I couldn't believe Hynden Walch could pull off both characters with no issues.

Anyway, my take with Blackfire from the cartoon...underrated and unfinished. Due to constraints from when the show was on the air, Starfire's background was never fully fleshed out. The TTGO comics did the best with the material but personally I didn't like it. Much of the origin did stay true to the old comics, but the fact that it stemmed from basic neglect...yeah, pretty sad. It didn't line up with the show that well, plus long after the cartoon ended.

The older comic version of Blackfire, that's more interesting. From what I gathered, she became sick as a kid and had lost the ability to absorb solar energy. Which fueled her flying ability. Which alone made her unworthy for the Tamaran Throne. Plus the character was just not liked at all, she became resentful towards her siblings and this spilled out to the public. While this would be corrected later down the line, this resentment led to Starfire being sold to slavery to save Tamaran. (Albeit different version of the story but roughtly the same)

In some continuities, the sisters do reconcile, while in most they don't. Blackfire's origin varied depending on the writer at the time. Many ideas, both from DC and fandom do flesh out the character in many ways. A lot of people think that she should be redeemed...I myself am one of them.

Elseworld: Much of what Blackfire did in the show is the same, but with a few changes and not relying on the TTGO comics does open up a lot of places to go. I'm taking inspirations from both old canon, alternate stories and fandom to build this alternate take.

Blackfire had a different name upon birth, she was known as Kirand'r (Kira being her name in the Starfire Graphic novel) and was a hot blooded but loved girl of the family. She was looking towards becoming a warrior of the family, to be worthy for the crown.

She ends up contracting an illness that is lethal to Tamaraneans, (A callback to the old comics) and much of her ealry childhood she is combating this sickness. Most days she was good but other times she was bedridden. Her transformation would occur and she would beat the illness but as a result her appearance would change drastically to what she looks like in the show.

Emperor Myand'r (Blackfire's father) would deem her unworthy and unclean, because of an old prophecy of a Tamaranian being born of a dark descent (Fandom inspiration). As such, this story is still believed by much of the public. The only ones who would not follow that story was Galfore (The family caretaker) and Empress Lunad'r (Blackfire's mother).

Her name would be changed from Kirand'r (Lightfire) to Komand'r to symbolize that drastic change. Lunad'r would still do her best to take care of her daughter. Even when Star and Wildfire are born, their love wouldn't be more or less from the others.

Blackfire though...she's shunned by her own people and her dad didn't help in that regard. Galfore would implore the Emperor to stop depriving his own child of love. But this would go unheard, years would pass and Blackfire would become resentful and angry at her own father. Starfire would be largely unaware of why Blackfire was acting out and would take it as bad behavior.

Once Tamaran gets attacked by the Gordanians, Blackfire would take advantage of the mess. By brokering a treaty with the enemy, she would spite her father by selling Starfire to them as a peace offering. Not even caring of her sister's own feelings. Wildfire would have been sent off world as a toddler (TTGO comics) so he wasn't present for that mess. This act alone would be seen as a betrayal and the scorned daughter would leave her home to wander the galaxy. Luand'r would be heartbroken and Galfore would be angered at the whole outcome.

Starfire wouldn't know the truth until after the Betrothed episode in Season three. At that time, she'd think Blackfire was the Bad Seed of the family. In the alternate take, Aura Blaze (My Character) would fight and lose to Blackfire in the worst way in that episode. As a result, he would remain on Tamaran and Star would stay behind till he recovered.

Both of Star's parents have long passed, but her mother tried to hold on in hopes of seeing Starfire again but would pass on before that could happen. In that time Galfore would reveal everything to her. This would leave Starfire angry at the mistreatment Blackfire endured but also conflicted for the terrible things she had done. It would be a very long time before the two sisters would cross paths.

(The TTGO comics did their own thing but personally that further killed the character's prospects imo. Plus the show ending the way it did didn't help.)

Blackfire attempted but failed to get the Gordanian Empire on her side and would end up being captured. She is improsoned but is able to escape. She crash lands in the California forests and is found by the Avalon Sentinels; Esper Huldra and Ariana Fae Fiala.

At that time, Starfire is away from the team and is staying with her new friends home, in between her own travels and soul searching. Reuniting with Blackfire for the first time in two years would leave her shocked. She was injured and barely alive, rather than let her die, Star and the others take her in and treat her wounds.

The time would be awkward, but knowing why Blackfire acted out allowed Starfire to show some mercy and try to mend what relationship they once had. It would be very rough as Blackfire would refuse the help and felt that she deserved the suffering. Despite that, she would heal.

Their relationship would never be the same, but this act of kindness would help start to rebuild that understanding. Starfire was more like their mother and this was something that Blackfire needed.

They would part ways, but Starfire would reach out to Galfore to let him know that her sister should be welcomed back home, renouncing her banishment. What would happen to Blackfire after that would be unknown, she wouldn't cause trouble...but some time later would reappear to not attack her sister...but to help her.

Yeah its my take but I felt inspired by the ideas I've picked up on. Blackfire should be redeemed, but not join the Titans, Have her stand on her own as a neutral protector. She wouldn't be a princess anymore but being allowed to return to Tamaran and under Galfore's watch would have helped her straighten out.

Part 2 of my Province style Titans. While three of the Titans are easily recognizable, one of them never appeared on the show unless you count a blink and miss moment.

Donna Troy: One of the original Titans from the mainline comics, she wasn't in the show and couldn't due to owners rights supposedly. I never knew about her until an old college friend introduced me to the Titan. Much like my characters, she was put through a lot of developmental hell, her wild history is pretty clear. She appeared in one still on the show, and a few times in the TTGO comics. As for my opinions of Donna, I like her a lot and she's underrated. Her insane history...I can work around and cherry pick certain aspects to simplify her a lot.

(Personally I didn't follow TTGO as I didn't know about the comic till the end of its run. I heard of Donna Troy then but didn't put two and two together. For the record I do research the comics from time to time, but the show is what I primarily follow.)

Her appearance in my else-world is about the same with some tweaks. She and Robin have a long history before the Titans were formed. Troy began associating with the Team after Robin reached out to her for help before season 5. So her just showing up out of the blue isn't so obscure in the show. Both she and Starfire are best friends and its the same thing, but they would meet much later.

For her style in the Province, comfy yet stylish sounds like Troy. Yoga pants, tie-dye jacket, sketchers and either halter style or cotton shirts work for her.

Cyborg: The idea of Cy wearing clothes sounds asinine as it sounds. But for this approach, I wanted a challenge. Truth is, I was never good at drawing the man himself. All the praise I have goes to the animators and comic artists for pulling off his design every time.

Truth be told, Victor was not just intelligent, but he was a college athlete in the comics. How he became the Titan we know now varies on continuity. All of them involved an accident that almost killed him and resulted in his mom dying. So, looking towards his promising career as a football player, I went with that style.

Football jersey, shorts and a cap. Hell I could imagine him looking into baseball too so him doing that was also possible.

Terra: Now this was out of left field for me. Truth was, I did not like Terra for years. The show and comics did too good of a job establishing her downfall. Years later, revisiting Terra as a character, she was a tragedy of being victimized and being used in the cartoon.

Many people wanted she and BB to reunite, myself included now that I'm older. Personally, I think in my else-world, she would reach out to him after doing some serious soul searching. They had a bond but lost it due to fear and mistrust. She in the end saved the Titans but lost out on a potential life with them for a long time. Terra to me still has her powers, but after being petrified, they would have stabilized and she would have freed herself. The girl would be found and adopted by a family, leading to where she was at the end.

I hated how the show ended, season 4 would have been enough, but that's where else-world fan-fiction exists, to expand the story in different ways. Terra doesn't rejoin the team, she's happy where she is now. However she lets her friends know that if they need her help, don't hesitate to ask. Her priority is college classes and when he's in town, hooking up with Beast Boy...maybe rekindling what they lost.

For her style, I always thought Terra would be into a rocker lifestyle. Going to concerts, partying (With her friends present) and just having a good time. She struck me as having a style based on Avril Lavigne. Jean shorts, tank tops, sneakers and for the hell of it a fishnet shirt and shades for the concert scene.

Beast Boy: Ah the green machine himself. Again, it took me a while to warm up to him due to how childish he could be in the cartoon. Looking at the comics, that won me over in favor of the wild man.

Logan (I call him that), isn't just a jokester, he's really smart and relies on his instincts in battle. That alone is a deadly combination that causes his enemies to underestimate him. I really wish that was shown more often than just the goof-ball he could be.

An older BB would still be the prankster and gamer, but he'd have a more grown up feel. Let's be honest, the dude would be a looker and like in the Tokyo film, the ladies would be attracted to him. (One of the few things I liked from Trouble in Tokyo tbh). If I ever meet Greg Cipes, I'll ask him how he would see a seventeen or eighteen years old BB.

Notes: I have a long and difficult history of creating children of both Aura Blaze and Starfire. It stems from way back in my Deviant Art days when Next Gen kids were really hype and I was part of it. Personally while it was fun, between problems I had and the activities of the group. Things fell to the way side and I never fully realized my ideas.

Originally, I had created only one kid, a daughter named Celeste Rovias. Sadly my problems of either her being too powerful or too weak kept me from fully setting her in stone. Plus I never had a good story or origin planned out, she was all over the place and it caused problems.

I had no plans for creating another one, that was I had a random idea of Starfire becoming pregnant again and their son William Rovias the 2nd was brought into the world. At the time I was too invested with their first born that Will was never developed as well as Celeste.

Years after leaving Deviant Art, once I got back into doing TTOC related material, I decided to revisit the subject again. This time since I could really step back and look what I liked and didn't like without being part of a super group. I had no plans on going back to that messy subject, but if I could get Aura cleaned up and introduce new characters. Giving Blue and Star's kids another look was warranted. Truth be told, I'm glad I decided to.

This time I decided on a new origin for the siblings.

Both: Celeste and Will are twins (fraternal). Both of their power sets are balanced out with one specializing in one or two traits while the other is the opposite.

Celeste Luand'r Trinity Rovias: Known as Aurafire (Name combination of her parents), Celty is a flyer and blaster with strong energy control from both parents. Her Starbolt energy isn't solar based, but neutral light energy due to inheriting her combined parents elements. She inherits the same healing power that Aura specializes in. Like Starfire, her powers are fueled by emotions and that can fluctuate.

Weakness: She has no super strength, her durability is much lower. So she can be injured easier. PLus if her emotions are out of sync, her powers can be affected.

Training: Celty fallows the same path of her parents as a Titan. Both parents help her in harnessing her powers and flying ability.

Personality: she's the more calm and quiet one of the siblings. She takes after her father the most.

William Galfore Anthony Rovias: His hero name is Pyre (Like in funeral pyre) He's the opposite of his sister. Will inherited his mom's super strength and durability (Plus the emotional triggers for them). He does have the Starbolt summoning ability but it manifests as solar emerald flames and is harder to control. He does have enhanced agility from both parents.

Weakness: Has no flying ability at all, trying to use his Starbolt energy can result in injuring himself or others if he's not careful. Even through spell casting he can still cause collateral damage. He's bound to the same emotional effects, meaning he could lose or gain strength depending on his mood.

Training: Will goes into the Avalon Sentinel program like his dad. He learns how to wield his Starbolt energy through casting Pyro (Fire) Magic. Will does receive combat training from both the Sentinels and his parents. Making him the more Melee focused with a magic edge.

Personality: He's energetic and a lot like his mom. Will can get a little carried away both in and out of a fight.

The first of a series I started months ago. This is the Titans plus TTOC's on how they would appear outside of their uniforms while in Aura's hometown of Minaville Province. The village is essentially outside of Jump City by a few miles but not dwarfed by it. The Province is its own world where even city kids can go to escape the concrete jungle of the shows main setting.

I apologize for a few mistakes, it was much earlier on that I drew this and others so I was still getting back into the swing of things.

I'll go from left to right.

Aura Blaze: My main TTOC, out of the Titans, Blue never had a uniform. Preferring street clothes and what gear and equipment that Cyborg could provide. His birthmark on his left arm was mean to be on the right arm so that was my mistake. I forgot that design I made so whoops. Once he became a Sentinel, he wears their uniform while on Titan duty. As for normal life, t-shirts, jeans, khakis boots or sneakers are his preferences. Plus he had the headphones on while listening to his favorite tunes.

Starfire: The Alien Princess in my opinion would absolutely have more than just her Tamaran wear in that big closet of hers tbh. In this else-world, Star frequents the Province and tags along with Aura (and on her own) to hang out and live it up, small town style.

I'd imagine that Star would try to blend in with a country girl style, (Flannels, Jean shorts, hiking boots and etc) even down to having her hair braided. Blue would let her know that she doesn't have to go that distance. Lets be honest, Star would still have fun.

Robin: One thing about TT 2003 that I have to joke about. No one is seen outside the uniform, Robin most of all. Yeah he willingly keeps the mask on and unless you know the comics, Richard Grayson is obviously Robin.

This version of Robin does start off by not leaving the uniform behind like in the show. Overtime he starts to embrace his original identity as Richard Grayson. However he doesn't show this around the team in public, when around the tower, that's different as Raven, Starfire and eventually Aura Blaze he would reveal himself too. In the comics, the Titans know who he really is so eventually the others would learn his true identity.

I picture him still having that high class button up shirts, plants and even sunglasses (This stems from Young Justice). Personally he'd still stick with sneakers...Richard is still a kid so having style still counts.

Raven: I could count many ideas of people giving Raven a goth style outside the cloak. Personally, my fiance and myself believe she might have a more tomboy approach.

One design I went with was influenced by DC Superhero Girls G1, I liked the red colors with Raven's hair so I added that in as something she'd likely go with. She never dabbled with style outside the uniform (A run on joke as I mentioned), no longer dealing with Trigon I'd imagine she would branch out and expand her wardrobe.

Now here is something I didn't know about till after I got back into doing fan art. I didn't know that the wild TeenTitansGo and TT 2003 had a crossover film.

Did it sound nuts? Oh yeah, but for someone who finds the wild and insane rather intriguing, I looked into it. The fact OG Robin couldn't stand the mayhem had me in stitches even when he embraced it to save the world.

I have my reservations for TTGO, but there is some charm to be found if given a chance. Not all of it is great, but the fact that both teams interacted had me grinning like an idiot.

It's been confirmed that the film is else-world so not part of the original story. So its something I want to visit as something when Aura rejoins the team but has to go find his friends. He ends up in the Go world and...well he's antiquated with it during his training as a Sentinel, even meeting his own GO counterpart.

I thought the crossover was genius and it plays into a plot element of Avalon involving the Mists. (A magical force that was introduced in Disney's Gargoyles, it connects to other places, even worlds where other heroes exist.)

This one takes place much later, after the show ended but the story continues on. This piece is one that is near and dear for me as I had been out of the TTOC community for a long time.

Aura goes on another adventure and becomes a soldier called a Sentinel from Avalon. A modern knight that helps safeguard the island and other lands from threats. This happens after season 4 and Blue doesn't return to the team till after the show went off the air.

He is met with the Leader of the Sentinels; Viviane Celestine, for his struggles and is offered a chance to become stronger. But he would have to leave for one year of training...he takes it as he is at a very low point after the battle against Trigon. Blue lost most of his powers and sets off on his own adventure to become a Sentinel and regain his abilities through magic.

During his time as a Titan and before, Blue and Star do befriend one another. Between their jobs as heroes, the boy jumps in to help Starfire get acclimated to Earth. He does this by introducing her into his normal everyday life outside of the tower. She meets and becomes antiquated with Blue's extended family and the towns people. Even the Titans eventually are welcomed as part of the community.

Starfire has her own separate moments with Aura. While Robin still does his own thing with her in the show, Blue shares moments with Starfire that are largely kept private unless asked about it. They do have disagreements, and even bicker like close friends usually would. She learns from him and others that you could have more than one best friend which the show doesn't go into. (I might be wrong so don't jump at me please lol)

The Princess starts to develop feelings for him and becomes conflicted on wither Robin or Aura would be right for her. Sadly the story would cause them to go their separate ways, they don't become a couple but come close to a few times. Their story is one about not just blossoming love, but change overtime and rekindling that flame when given a second chance.

At that point, Robin and Star broke up but reminded best friends. He finds someone else (Will point that out later on) and Starfire learns that Aura would be coming back after being away for one year. (A requirement for his training as an Avalon Sentinel). This is part of a story I am writing outside of posting but if there is interest I might share it.

Anyway, she's hesitant as Starfire thought that Aura would have moved on. The Princess learns that he is waiting for her and she seeks him out at where he is staying. Aura planned on rejoining the Titans, to represent the Sentinels as one of their soldiers. So reuniting with Starfire was the first thing he wanted to do.

At first she doesn't believe that it's the same boy, one year later he's a warrior and no longer the struggling kid she befriended. It's a tearful reunion for her and after numerous moments and tension that remained since he left, they admit their feelings for one another and...well you can see in the picture above.

This is why I love else-world stories, you can take what is canon and either change, expand or both. Personally I do both while trying to remain true to the original story itself. While I lagely have fond memories of Teen Ttians, it felt incomplete and there could me more stories to tell. So introducing Starfire with someone new is something I take pride in.

It shows that not all stories have to follow a set tone, that's why comics and stories can be a lot of fun.

Now before anyone jumps down my throat, I'm not shooting down Robin and Starfire supporters, far from it.

I'm cool with them as a thing in the comics, the old cartoon was...okay but it could have been better. If Warner Bros wasn't limited on story and character development back then, I'd have a higher favor for them.

Now then...I was one of the few who had/have an original character paired with Starfire back when the show was on the air. I didn't know about the TTGO comics that much so the show is what I stuck with. You can imagine how people reacted to those who went this way, personally I just wanted something different.

I created Aura at a time when I was really struggling, TT 2003 was a good outlet and introduction to the comics itself. He does exist in an else-world at the same time as the show's story and past that.

It wasn't to shoehorn in some random wanna be character just to spur Robin fans. This was and became more of a personal project when I came back to the character as a grown up.

Both Aura and Star don't become a couple till much later on, past the show's ending and Trouble in Tokyo. I acknowledged Robin and Star do get together but they don't last long. Aura Blaze wasn't present in Seasons 5 and Tokyo as he was on a different adventure and away from the team.

Some of the stuff I'm posting is alternate scenarios with Aura being part of them. Most of the Plot is the same with some changes.

Now as for the scene here, this takes place after Betrothed Season 3 but the outcome was much darker. Starfire does succeed in defeating Blackfire but one person from her friends is missing, that one being Aura Blaze.

During the time the team is split up, Blue forgoes Robin's original orders and opts to go after Blackfire himself. However when the team gets captured and Blue isn't found, the castle guards try to find him and he gets into multiple battles.

By the time he is able to escape, only for Blackfire herself to end up finding him. A fight breaks out and Blue loses it in the worse way. He's almost killed and is left behind to die. Galfore was ordered to dispose of him but opts to take him to safety instead.

Star and the gang learn what happen, unable to take the kid back in his current condition. Star stays behind to make sure he can heal under her people's care. We learn that Starfire isn't just a survivor of her home world invasion, but is knowledgeable of being a healer. (Based on what we see in the show, that's the logic I'm going with)

The Princess in her time was learning how to use plants as medicine and wound care before she was taken away. Much like herbal healers before modern medicine was available. Although terrible in the kitchen, medicine creation is her forte in this else-world.

This one ive drawn a couple months ago and I decided to share.

Once I heard about what happened to Greg Cipes, posting this piece seemed appropriate for our OG Beast Boy actor.

I've had a long love/hate relationship with Terra in the show, it wouldn't be till years later that she grew on me. Knowing about the character from the original comics, her story was a lot darker and messed up than the show could provide.

Many wanted these two to end up together, myself included.

So as a tribute to the fans and supporters of this pairing, here is my contribution.

Aura Blaze aka Erick Rovias when he originally debut in TT, I originally have him appear in-between seasons 1 and 2 with his own story.

Another TTOC creation of my fiance and myself.

One of the few normal people that Aura Blaze has known since he was in grade school. This is Abra Thompson or Abby as Blue calls her. Both of them are seen as outsiders in Aura's hometown of Minaville Province. She has a no non-since approach and despises bullies, she and Erick Rovias have had each others backs since she moved to his home seven years ago.

She is a military brat as her dad is stationed with the United States military. So she holds a lot of that soldier's pride, despite her choice of being a Punk, its for looks alone.

An avid sports fan and baseball fanatic, stands out from the normal townsfolk and even the Jump City high school populace can't help but take notice.

She's a normal human with no powers, but isn't scared of getting up in someone's face if he or she crosses her. Once Aura joins the Titans, Abby doesn't just sit on the sidelines, she's Erick's go to for emotional support and backup when things get rough.

Another new addition and fellow friend of Aura and the Titans. This is Ariana Fae Fiala, she is a new TTOC that my fiance and myself co created. She goes under the code name Pixie.

She and Esper Huldra are from the same land of Avalon and are essentially adopted sisters within house Huldra.

Ari is a dhampir of Strigoi origin, one of the rare supernaturals within Earth 2004 and very much one of the youngest within the heroes. Originally from Eastern Europe, Ari is fluent in Slovak and speaks in broken English. Making it tricky to understand her sometimes.

She's a day-walker with vampiric abilities like super strength, agility and her trademark ability, Blink. (Short-range teleportation akin to Marvel's Night-crawler). She does need to feed on blood to fuel her powers, but is able to eat normal food like humans. Ari is much stronger at night but can be still injured like normal humans and is susceptible to Iron (Many supernaturals and fae can be killed by Iron).

New TTOC and part of the expanded lore of Aura Blaze. This is Esper Huldra, she is the heroic else-world version of Blackfire from Avalon. How she ended up on the same world of TT2003 (I call It Earth 2004) is through being brought across dimensions through magic as a toddler. She's adopted and raised as a member of house Huldra and becomes one of Avalon's rare assassins.

Not even aware of her origins until later in life, even her powers are different, instead of flying and having the same Tamaranian powers, Esper uses magic and fights with stealth and sabotage.
