Faith met Kendra long before the Relic was even a topic. The first time Faith Valerie noticed her was at the Licks Club.
βWhoβs she?β Faith asked the bartender, eyes locked on the woman with the golden snake tattoo.
βYou donβt know her?β
βShould I?β Faith sounded annoyed. She hated when people acted like sheβd just crawled out of some cave.
βThatβs Kendra. Kendra fucking Rhyne.β
βWAIT- that Rhyne?!β Faith knew the name. Kendra was the daughter of Night Cityβs mayor, Lucius Rhyne.
βCorpo bitch. Must love βem.β Faith took a sip of her drink. She usually didnβt drink, but tonight she was angry. Angry at Dorian. Angry at the world. Theyβd fought about leaving their vigilante life behind and going back to βnormalβ work. No more secrets. No more double life for Dorian. But Faith? Faith was anything but done. For her, it felt like she was just getting started. And then she met Kendra.
βThat seat free, or you waitinβ for someone?β Of course Kendra noticed her. Everyone always noticed her. Usually, Faith didnβt give a fuck.
But everything about Kendra was⦠magnetic.
She wore the scar on her belly like a badge. The golden snake curling around it almost looked like an invitation to try again. Whoever had done that to her - Faith was sure they werenβt alive anymore. Faith had a talent for reading people. Sometimes that sense was offβ¦ but not this time.

Yupp, I decided to re-work my other OC Kendra Victoria "Vicky" Rhyne a bit and give her more space in Faith's lore. I also reworked her background quite a lot.
