An Introduction
Hello all! I am Titania, Queen of Fairies. Thou might know me from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a wonderful production which featured probably one of my most embarrassing moments. But regardless, I welcome thee warmly to my home.
I am married to Oberon, whose blog is @the-real-fairy-king. However, our marriage is mostly for royal matters and we consider ourselves separated, so technically I am single. The bard who scribed the story I hail from is @shakespeare-official-account. (Unfortunately deactivated.) My attendants art Peaseblossom, Moth, Cobweb, and Mustardseed! I am a female, with she/her pronouns. I am the caretaker of Menelaus, nick-named Minnow, a beautiful changeling boy whose mother was a friend of mine before she left him in my care. Oberon cannot have him, don’t play into anything he does in an attempt to make my boy his soldier. (Mod is a minor!)
Original posts are tagged with #titania decrees. Reblogs are tagged with #hark to the others. Tag games shall be tagged with #friends I summon thee. Asks shall be tagged with #the queen hath been asked. All posts shall be tagged with the name of the person who is speaking. If Minnow be mentioned, the tag shall be #minnow the changeling.
My attendants may speak at times, in which case, here art their introductions: Hello, sirs, madams, and nobles aside! My name is Peaseblossom, one of the highest members of Titania’s fairy court. I enjoy cooking and baking immensely, and am often trusted with supervising the palace chefs when they prepare for feasts. Cobweb is my belov’d girlfriend <3 I am pleased to meet thine acquaintances. :) Salutations! Moth is my name, and I am a handmaiden to Titania. I am a messenger, fluttering about to all corners of the earth to deliver correspondence between the fairies (and sometimes mortals) of the world! However, my job is far easier now with the existence of this “internet”. Cobweb am I, the highest advisor to Titania and romantic partner to Peaseblossom. I am skilled in strategy and organization, placing me in the high ranks of the rulers’ military. My job is likened by my peers to that of Athena’s role among the gods; strategy and militia. And I am Mustardseed! I am a craftswoman for the Queen, creating ornate decorations from grand woven tapestries to whittled toys for the young fairies. Proudly do I wear my title as the one who made the most decorations for the palace. All of these attendants use the pronouns she/her, excepting Moth who uses they/she. These four will not likely be around much, but when they do arrive, they will speak using the colors associated to them above!
That is all for now! Prithee do not be afraid to reach out with any questions or comments, whether they regard my acquaintances and I or otherwise.
