So sad that my journey in japan has come to an end (for now), but I'm delighted that Narita Airport is giving me a sendoff with tiny garden-flanked walkways. High five, Japan. In the meantime, I'll continue posting some tiny gardens from the cutting room floor.

Adventure to Shirakawago, where a village of Edo period thatched-roof farmhouses (called Gassho Zukuri) has been preserved. 

Shirakawago was blanketed in snow, but there were still colorful tiny gardens to be found!

A man on the Kanonji temple grounds was cutting the last kaki from the trees and throwing them down to excited passersby. 

Tiny gardener's dream at the Kyoto Toji flea market. It takes place on the 21st of every month and I highly recommend going (for much more than plant life) if you're in Kyoto.
