Hi!!! Doing a bit of an overhaul on my intro since I really havenât updated it much.
Name: tinyinvadr
Age: 24
Pronouns: They/Them
Current Interests: Sonic the Hedgehog, The Amazing Digital Circus, SMG4, Psychonauts, Project Sekai, Vocaloid, Invader Zim, Undertale/Deltarune, bunch of other stuff thatâs also floating in the back of my mind waiting for a turn in the front!
Tiny: Yes. Definitely. Absolutely.
So, g/t has been a concept Iâve loved for as long as I can remember. Iâve always related to tiny characters, and watching them interact with other people and the world around them was something that I wished I could experience. But sadly, I was not born as a fairy or a borrower, so all I can do is imagine it!
But yeah, I was really excited when I discovered the existence of the g/t community a few years back and realized I wasnât the only person who liked this concept, and slowly but surely, it changed my life in a pretty positive way! Iâve met some really awesome people, written some (mostly unfinished) stories, and found a place where I can be unapologetically myself.
Anyway, this has been requested before, so here is myâŚ

Invader Zim
Borrower!Recap Kid Series
This was a series of connected one shots about Recap Kid as a borrower living in the Membrane household. There wasnât really much of a story, but this was the first thing I wrote for g/t Tumblr.
The Kid in the Wall
Accident
Skoolday of Doom
Sick Day
Hug a Giant Day
Theyâll Be Back
Hug a Tiny Day
Donât Face the Music
Tiny Alien
This was a fic that I only ever wrote one chapter for. Itâs an AU where Irkens are tiny, and Zim crash lands on Earth but loses his memories, so he ends up befriending Dib because he doesnât remember he was sent to Earth to destroy it. So itâs pretty much The Iron Giant but with a little guy instead of a big guy. But thereâs only one chapter, and I honestly donât think Iâll finish it.
Tiny Alien
The Lone Lumin
An OC fic about my character, Bek. She is a Lumin, a race of tiny aliens that glow, and her planet was conquered by the Irken Empire. Sheâs been on the run for a while, and ends up taking refuge on Earth, disguising herself as a human by transforming her ship into a robotic mech suit. She, of course, goes to skool and meets Zim, and the moment she finds out heâs an Irken she wants him dead. Didnât get very far with this one either, no idea if Iâll ever go back to it.
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Into the PAK
A very angsty fic that I only posted on AO3. It also only has two chapters, but maybe itâs for the best because I was very depressed when I wrote it. Dib is a miserable college kid and Zim discovers his whole life is a lie, and through a series of events, Dib gets shrunk and ends up watching Zimâs memories through a recording inside his PAK, and he learns about Zimâs past and they finally acknowledge that they have similar trauma and bond over it.
Into the PAK
Borrowed Family
A revamp of sorts of my Borrower!Recap series, although now it follows a more linear story. I fell off writing this one and I probably wonât go back to it anytime soon, but out of all my IZ fics, this is the one Iâd be most likely to return to.

Original Works
Robyn and Jack
An unfinished original story I only wrote three chapters for. Itâs about a kid who runs away and accidentally ends up in another dimension where giant beings live. Basically, a representation of my tired adult self adopting my rambunctious child self and the two of them helping each other become better people.

Petal in the Audience
One of my longest works besides Borrowed Family, and even though it wasnât that long ago since I last worked on this story I honestly kind of forgot about it. Kind of a shame âcause I liked it, just not sure what I should do with it going forward. Most of the chapters are on Tumblr but I moved it to AO3 and continued it on there since it wasnât getting much traction here. Anyway, itâs about Petal, a teenage borrower who has grown up watching the friendship between the two human siblings who live in her house and their friend who lives in the neighborhood and frequently visits. Petal sees them as her friends even though she hasnât revealed herself to them for safety reasons, though in reality, her relationship to them is more like a spectator watching a show. Of course, that all changes when she ends up meeting them for real.
Petal in the Audience
Project Sekai
I only have two unnamed one shots for Project Sekai. I do have an idea for a fully fledged story set in a fantasy AU, but I havenât had much time to flesh it out. I do have a lot of ideas for this story, though, and I really hope I can share it here someday.
Shizuku & Minori
Rui & Mizuki
The Amazing Digital Circus
Hide & Shrink
This story is set the day after the pilot, and Caineâs adventure of the day is a game of Hide & Seek, but with a twist! Pomni is tiny now, and for some reason, Caine canât change her back. I wrote this back when the only source material we had was the pilot, and it was mostly just whatever random tiny Pomni shenanigans I felt like doing. No idea how Iâd continue it if I ever were to, but Iâm glad people like this one!

An adventure suggested by nobody other than the purple rabbit himself. Basically a combination of the King Kong and Godzilla movies but a little more wacky. Yes, he does breathe fire as well. Everything is in black and white except for a few things, similar to the bar scene in episode 5. I colored Jax just to get an idea of what his color palette may look like.
Of course he kidnaps Pomni to keep things interesting until the rest of the crew try to defeat him and rescue Pomni.
Would we be able to get some more headcannons? Maybe specifically from ep 8?? đ
I love all your headcannons btw when I found them it was like stumbling upon a treasure chest filled with gold
Yes! I love tadc content so much and Kinger is great! Thereâs not much characterization Iâve seen for him.
And tysm, I try to get these headcanons as accurate as possible!

Ëâ§ââGiant! Ep 8 KingerââşËłâ§ŕź
In the starting flashback, when Kinger and Queenie recognize each other, he scoops her up. I like to think after that he rarely put her down all the way up until her abstraction, learning to do things with only one empty hand.
When Ragatha first arrived, it was the first time a stranger had ever met him after heâd been settled as a giant. He caught her in one hand when she fell and held her at eye level to keep her more at ease around him.
It would be difficult to add Kinger into the musical number, he couldnât line dance with the others. So I raise you this: Caine made him freeze with his hands out so the crew did their little line dance in his palms while he was like the big platform stage Caine conjured.
Rather than putting a bucket on his head, I can picture Pomni finding a big tarp/blanket and attempting to drag it over. Ragatha realized what she was trying to do and helped drop it over his head while heâs all hunched inside the little cafe.
The iconic line âHey Pomniâ once he finally becomes sane? During that part, his hands gently hovered around her. Not picking her up, but just letting her know he was really there in the same way he was in the horror ep.
Kinger is, of course, the father of the group. Heâs very familial once sane and it shows, especially if heâs giant compared to the others, which is seen in his slow and patient movements.
Heâd likely have a stronger urge to hide the tiny members from Caineâs wrath, given that theyâre all hand-sized to him. Since theyâd have to be a distraction, heâd be conflicted, but ultimately let them keep him busy
Kinger wasnât there to take the brunt of Caines crash out. However, if he had seen it, it would be the first time anyone (including Caine) was close to his larger size. It would disorient him a bit seeing how Caine manhandled the others with gloved hands that look just like hisâŚ
Imagine the guilt heâd feel if he had to work on an average sized computer and, because of his size being much larger than everyone elseâs, he accidentally screwed up and deleted Caine.
My asks are always open for any fandom / non-fandom based G/t oneshot requests, headcanons, or thoughts! :)

Many messy drawings to express messy emotions. I've been a bit hesitant to post anything lately, but I genuinely like some of these colorwise, so let them be here
Plus, honestly, I just really wanted to doodle something with the cast being chill and cool around his eldritch form
(also I'm trying to avoid spoilers for ep 9, so please be mindful - thank ya <3)
I doodled the lil guys from The Amazing Digital Circus! I didnt try and i think thats what makes them even cuter XD I just think theyre neat!
The movie was fantastic and im so proud of the artist that worked on that show!!
Got something a little different today! I had this idea at work yesterday and just had to write it so I locked in and made it happen! Iâm just such a sucker for cute AUs like this!
Synopsis: When her mother isnât feeling well, Cream decides to try and take care of the garden on her own. But she gets more than she bargained for when she plants some mysterious coffee beans and they sprout immediately into an impossibly giant beanstalk. She wasnât sure what she expected to find at the top, but it definitely wasnât a very grumpy giant hedgehog.
Cream and the Beanstalk
Once upon a time, there was a little rabbit named Cream. She lived in Floral Forest Village with her mother, Vanilla. There was nothing the two of them loved more than gardening together. Whether it was flowers, vegetables, or fruits, the garden always thrived.
However, there came a time that Vanilla started to work in the garden less and less. She seemed tired, and didnât have the energy to keep up with it. All the while, Cream wasnât sure why.
Determined to help her mother, she went to her good friend Amy Rose for advice.
âIt sounds like your mother needs a break. She works so hard all the time, maybe itâs getting to be too much right now.â
âBut, Ms. Amy, someone needs to take care of the garden! Iâve only ever helped her before, I donât know if I can do it by myselfâŚâ
Amy frowned. âI wish I could help, but I wonât be home this weekend. Though, I could help you get started. We can pick up some supplies at the garden center and I can find you something easy to take care of!â
With that in mind, the pair headed to the garden center to pick out a plant. They searched for something simple that Cream could care for on her own, but they couldnât find anything. All seemed hopeless.
After thoroughly looking through the store, Amy took Cream to the register to see if any of the employees had a recommendation. While they were talking, Cream noticed a small container of beans behind the counter.
âExcuse me, Ms.? What kind of beans are those?â
The shop owner glanced back at where she was looking and placed the canister in front of her so she could get a closer look.
âIâm honestly not sure. We got them in shipment recently but I canât identify them. Unfortunately I canât sell them if I donât know what they are.â
Amy was largely unimpressed.
âThey just look like black coffee beans to me.â
The owner sighed. âI thought so too, but the coloring is really unusual. Look at the red stripes on them. Iâve never seen anything like it.â
Cream stared at the beans for a solid minute, and then, she got an idea.
âWhat if you try planting them? That way, you can see what kind of plant theyâll grow into!â
âI havenât had the time to, Iâm busy running the shop. Itâs a lot of work taking care of a new plant. Thereâs so much trial and error, and you have to make sure you understand all of its needs.â
Initially, Cream was on board with starting off easy, but she couldnât help but be intrigued by the mystery beans. Not only that, she enjoyed challenging herself and trying new things. And it would make her mother very happy to know that sheâs putting in the work to learn to be responsible.
âWhat if I raised the plant for you?â
Amy frowned. âAre you sure, Cream?â
The rabbit nodded, determined as ever. âIâm sure, Ms. Amy! Someone needs to help those beans grow!â
Seeing as she couldnât sell them, the shop owner was happy to pass off the beans. They werenât doing much besides taking up space anyway.
âBest of luck to you! And please let me know how it goes! Iâm really curious!â
After saying their goodbyes to the shopkeeper, Amy walked Cream home. The two parted ways after that, leaving the young rabbit alone in the garden with her container of mystery beans.
She knew the first step was simple: bury them in the soil. So, she grabbed a shovel and dug a small hole in the dirt. It was hard to gauge how deep to make it, so she tried to mimic the depth of the holes that she usually saw her mother dig. Once it looked about right, she tossed the beans inside and buried them.
The next step would be to water them. She placed the shovel down and went inside to refill the watering can. All the while, Vanilla was asleep.
Cream was saddened for a moment as she almost began to consider the possibility that she didnât want to think about, but she brushed it aside. Everything would be alright. Her mother was just tired, and she would feel better soon.
After she finished refilling the watering can in the sink, she immediately dropped it and spilled all the water as the house suddenly began to shake. Something was outside. Something big.
She rushed to the window, and right outside in the garden was an impossibly massive plant. A black beanstalk with red vines and leaves coiled around it. How the beans grew so big and so fast was completely lost on her, but she knew she had to go outside and check on it.
When she returned to the garden, she saw that no matter how high she looked up, she couldnât see the top of the stalk. It seemed to breach the clouds, far beyond the sky.
Cream could fly if she flapped her ears, but sheâd never gone anywhere near that high up before.
Curiosity got the best of her, and she began to climb. Of course, she quickly realized just how long it would take to reach the top just by climbing. Taking notice of the large and surprisingly sturdy leaves, an idea formed.
She hopped onto a leaf, and after jumping for a bit, she was able to bounce up into the air. Alternating between flying with her ears and using the leaves to boost, she was able to ascend the beanstalk much faster.
When she finally reached the top, she found herself in a world where the ground was made entirely of clouds. She took a hesitant step off the leaf she was perched on, unsure if she would fall out of the sky. To her surprise, the tops of the clouds were solid, with a texture similar to snow but not as cold.
She began to walk across the clouds, taking in the sights. It really was beautiful up in the sky.
Then, something caught her eye. A house in the distance. Someone lived up here.
The rabbit ran towards it, and the closer she got, the bigger it appeared to get. It wasnât until she reached the front door that she fully registered just how huge the house actually was. The front door on its own was wider than her house, and the doorknob was up so high that no one could reach it. Opening the door at all would be impossible.
She noticed a decently sized gap beneath the door that she could easily slide under, but it would be rude to enter someone elseâs home without permission. Instead, she knocked on the door.
There was no response, so she decided to leave, assuming no one was home. But just as she was about to head back to the beanstalk, the cloudy ground thundered with the sound of heavy footsteps. Someone was coming from around the side of the house and headed for the front door, right where she was. And if she was correct in all of the observations sheâd just made about the place, they had to be gigantic.
Unsure what else to do, she quickly ducked under the gap and slipped inside before the giant could see her. From there, she took shelter in a nearby cupboard that was left opened, hiding in the shadows just as the front door swung open.
She peeked out to see the giant as he walked past. He was a hedgehog with black and red fur, and aside from his size he didnât look too different from her friend Sonic.
He stopped in his tracks, sniffing the air.
âSomeoneâs in the house.â
Cream gasped and hid herself further in the cupboard, ducking behind a large bag. Unfortunately for her, that was the first place the giant looked.
âYou canât cover your scent with coffee beans, you know.â
The rabbit backed up as the bag was pulled away from her, a few beans toppling out from the top of it. They were very much the same ones that she planted.
âI donât know how you got here, but you are NOT welcome in my home. I suggest you leave before Iâm forced to dispose of you myself.â
By that point, Cream couldnât stop shaking. Sheâd never be able to get away in time. In that moment she regretted climbing the beanstalk by herself, and deciding to plant the beans in the first place.
The bag was fully pulled away, and all she could see was the hedgehog towering over her, a pair of glowing red eyes staring her down. Time seemed to stop as they both froze, neither of them saying a word. Then finally, the giant spoke up.
âYouâre just a little girlâŚâ
It didnât matter that his words werenât inherently threatening, being acknowledged by him at all was enough to send Cream into a panic. She made a run for it, causing the giant to gasp.
âWait, stop!â
He reached for her, missing her as she slipped out of his reach the first few times until he finally got her. He closed his hand around her as gently as possible and lifted her up to eye level. This, of course, did nothing to ease her fears.
The little rabbit sobbed, not looking up at the hedgehog.
âPlease donât eat me, Mr. Giant!â
The hedgehog huffed in offense. This certainly wasnât the first time heâd heard this plea, but that didnât make it any less insulting. Though, in this case he couldnât entirely blame her for being afraid. She was a child.
âI donât do that, you know.â
Cream opened her eyes, reluctantly looking at him. He still didnât look particularly friendly, but he wasnât acting hostile in any way. At most, he just seemed annoyed and inconvenienced.
âYou donât?â
The giant shook his head.
âNo. Never.â
Cream sighed with relief, still deeply intimidated but at least confident she wasnât going to die.
âCould you please let me go, then?â
The hedgehog nodded. âI will. But first, Iâd like to know why youâre here and how you got here.â
The rabbit took a minute to finish calming down and gather her thoughts. Then, she briefly explained the events of the day that led her to this point. All the while, the giant listened intently, taking everything in.
âI see⌠Strange, I thought those beans were gone a long time ago. But you shouldnât have come up here alone. You could have gotten seriously hurt on the climb up, and you had no idea who was living up here and whether they were dangerous or not. Did you at least tell your parents where you went?â
Cream guiltily avoided his gaze. Normally the first thing she wouldâve done before running off was ask for her motherâs permission, but Vanilla just seemed so tired and out of sorts that she didnât want to disturb her.
The giant sighed. âIâll take you back to the beanstalk and make sure you get home safely, but I donât want to see you up here again. Is that clear?â
The rabbit nodded. âOf course, Mr. Giant. Iâm really sorry for bothering you.â
His expression softened at her apology as he realized he may have been a bit too harsh with her.
âYouâre not bothering me, little one. I just donât want you getting hurt.â
He brought Cream back outside and walked her over to where the tip of the beanstalk poked through the clouds. He set her down beside it, but just as she was about to climb onto it, she caught sight of the drop below. It was easier to ignore how high up she was on the way up, but going down required her to see it.
âMr. Giant? I donât think I can climb back downâŚâ
He shut his eyes, taking a deep breath. He was afraid she would say that. Not because he had any issue climbing down with her, but because that meant he would be back on the ground below. He hadnât set foot there in the past 50 years and he didnât plan on ever going back. Not when the people down there thought he was a monster.
But he was not a monster, and he would not make her climb down by herself.
He knelt down, offering his hand to her. The rabbit climbed on and sat herself down in the center of his palm. Once she was seated, he slowly lifted her up and secured her against his chest, still taking care to be as gentle as possible.
To his surprise, he heard a little giggle from under his hand.
âYouâre so fluffy!â
The hedgehog smiled. She had the sweetest little laugh. It almost reminded him ofâŚ
Not now. He had to focus on getting her home.
âIâm going to start climbing down now. Just stay put. Iâve got you.â
The giant wrapped his limbs around the beanstalk, his right hand still cradling Cream to his chest. Once he was sure he was stable enough, he began his descent.
Along the way, he was surprised to hear the rabbit address him.
âDo you have a name, Mr. Giant?â
âHm? Yes, I do. My name is Shadow.â
âThatâs a nice name. My name is Cream!â
After a while, they finally reached the bottom. Shadow set her down in the garden and immediately prepared himself to climb back up. But before he could, Cream called out to him.
âWait! Mr. Shadow⌠Thank you for bringing me home.â
He gave her a quick nod, then started to climb back up.
She was sad to see him go, but she really needed to go inside and let her mother know she was okay.
Cream went into the house and went straight to Vanillaâs room. However, when she got there, she saw that her mother was still in bed, looking very pale and breathing heavily.
âM-Mother?!â
Vanilla turned her head to look at her daughter, her heavy eyelids barely opening. She forced a weak smile.
âCream⌠there you are. Where did you go, sweetie?â
âMother, you look sick! Wait right there, Iâll get help!â
The young rabbit ran back outside as fast as she could, hoping that Shadow hadnât gotten too far. By the time she made it back to the base of the beanstalk, he was already too high up to hear her when she called out to him. But she could still catch up. He wouldnât like it, but she had no choice.
Just as she did before, she jumped up on the leaves and boosted herself up the beanstalk until she caught up to him, landing on his shoulder. He noticed her small presence right away and gasped.
âHow did you get up here so fast?! I told you not to climb this thing again!â
Cream sniffled, beginning to cry.
âI-Iâm sorry, Mr. Shadow, but my Mother needs help! She looks really sick and I donât know what to do!â
Shadow looked at her, a sinking feeling in his heart. He could help, but he really didnât want to scare the girlâs mother. He had no idea how she would respond to seeing him.
But when he saw just how afraid Cream was for her motherâs health, he knew he had to help her. Even if it meant potentially being labeled a monster once again.
He held a finger up to her face, gently wiping her tears away and then softly stroking the top of her head.
âI can heal her. Just hold on tight while I climb down, Cream.â
Once he was back on the ground again, he lowered Cream back in front of her house and instructed her to bring Vanilla outside. After a minute, the mother and daughter returned, Vanilla looking absolutely exhausted and leaning on Cream for support.
The older rabbit looked up at Shadow, caught off guard by the sight of him. The giant knelt down, trying to make himself look like less of a threat.
âThereâs no need to be afraid, maâam. Iâm here to help you.â
He laid his hand flat on the ground, extending a finger towards Vanilla.
âJust hold my hand and Iâll take care of it.â
She turned to Cream, who gave her an encouraging nod. Even if she was greatly intimidated by the giant creature, she trusted her daughterâs judgement. With that, she took his hand.
Shadow sent out waves of energy to her that slowly restored her strength. After just a few minutes, she felt like her old self again. She looked up at the giant with a soft smile.
âThank you. I feel much better now. Iâm not sure what came over me. Iâve been so exhausted lately and havenât had the energy to do much of anything. And Cream⌠Iâm sorry I havenât been myself lately. I didnât mean to worry you. But you know better than to run off on your own without telling me. I hope you thanked this gentleman for being so kind to you.â
Cream smiled and nodded. âI did, Mother! He brought me all the way down the beanstalk to make sure I got home safely!â
Vanilla smiled back and hugged her. She was forever grateful to have such a sweet and caring daughter.
She turned her attention back to Shadow, who simply remained kneeling beside them.
âI canât thank you enough for all youâve done for us today. But I can at least offer you some cookies if youâd like. They might be a bit small for you, but I donât mind giving you more. I have plenty in the house.â
âThat wonât be neces-â
Shadow was cut off by the comically loud sound of his own stomach rumbling. Vanilla chuckled.
âIâll go get the cookies.â
After she went inside, Cream looked up at Shadow like she had something on her mind. Then, she spoke up.
âMr. Shadow? Will you come and visit us again?â
He looked up at the sky. It really was lonely up there by himself, but it was safer for both him and the rest of the world that he stayed in the clouds away from everyone else.
At the same time, it was a refreshing change of pace to meet people who saw him not as a monster, but as a healer and protector. It had been so long since heâd been seen in that light.
âPerhaps I will. Or⌠you and your mother could visit my home sometimes as well. Of course, Iâll need to set up precautions to make my house safer for you to navigate first, but I think you will like it there.â
Creamâs face lit up at the idea. The thought of getting to explore a giant house was so exciting to her.
âWe could play hide and seek! Think of all the places I could hide!â
Shadow chuckled. She really was like her in a lot of ways.
âAlright. Just promise me youâll be careful.â
To his surprise, Cream ran right up to his knee and hugged it.
âI will, Mr. Shadow!â
He smiled, patting her head. Vanilla returned with a plate of cookies at that point, cooing at the adorable sight.
From that day forward, Shadow became a good friend to the rabbit family, no longer stuck in a world of isolation and sorrow. After everything heâd been through, it was nice to know that he could still make a positive difference in the lives of others, even if it was as simple as just being a system of love and support.
Though, it would take time before he was ready to meet the rest of Creamâs friends, no matter how much she insisted they would love him just as much as she and her mother did. Still, he was grateful every day to have them in his life, and devoted every moment he spent with them to ensuring they remained happy and safe.
If she could see him, he knew Maria would be proud.
Itâs been an hour and a half, and you still cannot get your brain to shut down and fall asleep. Youâve been tossing and turning in bed, trying every position you can possibly think of in the hopes that one of them will be comfortable enough to knock you out. None of them have, and youâre finally at your witsâ end when you hear the telltale thumping of your giant friendâs footsteps. You watch him approach, his eyes locked onto you with amusement.
âI thought you were taking a nap?â
ââŚI canât sleep,â you admit.
You watch him bend down to meet you at eye level, folding his arms at the edge of the table your bed sits on and resting his chin on them.
âHmm, and why do you think that is?â he asks with a glint in his eyes, as if he already knows exactly why you canât sleep.
You look away in defeat. Youâd wanted to see if you could give him a break from holding you all the time, to finally use the bed heâd painstakingly made for you, but your efforts to fall asleep without him have been fruitless.
âI told you it wasnât going to work.â
You huff in frustration, but it doesnât last long as his hand reaches toward you, his index extending outward to brush over the top of your head, trailing down the side of your face before tilting your chin up toward him. You feel weak in the knees under his warm gaze.
âI know you think you bother me, but might I remind you that youâre only three and a half inches tall and barely fit in the palm of my hand? Itâs really not that hard to take care of you.â
You find yourself cowed as he so intently reminds you of your size difference, looking down meekly when he pulls his hand back and hiding under your blanket. You hear him laugh softly.
âYouâre such a dork, câmereâŚâ
You gasp when you feel his hand gently wrap around you, scooping you up in your blanket and lifting you to his chest.
âYou keep focusing on how you think I feel, but youâre not taking the time to consider how I actually feel about this. Youâre not a burden, and you need to stop treating yourself like one,â he gently scolds as he tucks you close to him, his thumb stroking over the little bundle in his hands as you continue to hide beneath your blanket.
He slowly walks from the bedroom to the living room, and you feel a moment of vertigo as he lowers himself onto the couch. You feel your weight now resting on his chest as he cuddles you close, holding you over his heart. His chest vibrates deeply as he speaks.
âNow then, do you know how I feel when I get to hold you like this all the time?â
You peek out of the blanket just enough to see his eyes watching you with warmth and love. He smiles as he sees you, and he carefully pulls the blanket back just enough to see you a little bit more. He strokes his thumb across the side of your face.
âI feel whole,â he starts with a smile. âI love holding you. I love the way you perfectly fit in one of my hands, or how small you look when youâre sleeping on my chest. I canât get enough of it, and it worries me that you think holding you bothers me.â
You hide back under the blanket, feeling embarrassed that you had your thoughts on how he saw your relationship so blatantly incorrect. He takes a deep breath, continuing to idly stroke you as he talks quietly.
âDo you remember the first time we met, and how terrified you were?â he asks fondly.
You nod your head in response.
âEvery time I hold you now, itâs a reminder of just how much you trust me, and how honored I am that Iâve earned that trust.â
You think back to that day yourself, having been cornered after what was by far the worst day of your life. You thought that once he found you, that was going to be the end, only to instead be treated not like a thing or a pest, but like the tiny person you are. You were carefully calmed down, scooped off of the floor, cradled in their hands, and he began to slowly coax you out of your survival mindset. Once you learned to trust him, you found out very quickly just how soothing it can be to be held by someone so many times bigger than you when you know youâre safe with them.
Just as you had then, you start to feel sleepy as his warmth surrounds you. His heart beating right beneath his chest lulls you into a state of deep calm. You curl inward, letting his massive hands cradle you as you snuggle up in your blanket, feeling his fingers gently tighten around you, making sure you feel protected and secure.
âI promise you, if you canât sleep without me, then Iâll make sure you never have to. You just relax and let me take care of you.â
You feel his thumb move, sharply inhaling when you feel it gently resting on the side of your face. He carefully holds your head down, making sure youâre hearing his heartbeat loud and clear. You yawn as you soak in his attention and affection, and soon enough, you find yourself drifting off, feeling less guilty and more satisfied knowing that him holding you brings him so much joy and fulfillment.
You two may be incredibly codependent, but the bond you share is unbreakable. Heâs made it clear that heâs not upset by it, and now, neither are you.

Is it just me or is there less engagement in the g/t community nowadays?
This doesn't necessarily apply to me/my posts but I have the feeling people used to interact with other people's post a lot more, e.g. reblogging prompts and adding their own thoughts or exploring it more in depth or continuing a prompt/loose story thread. Simply adding more to it.
But nowadays the reblogs are mostly empty or just include the standard tags.
I'm not saying you have to interact with others (there's nothing wrong with being a lurker), but I miss going through reblogs and finding yet another great prompt/idea from someone that is just as passionate about xy as op! Just two creative minds that think alike sparking each others interest, maybe even going back and forth adding more ideas with each reblog.
I also stumble across phenomenal prompts from people that are relatively new to the community and said posts have little to no likes/reblogs. Maybe people simply scroll through the main tags less often and perfer to go through their fyp/blogs they follow?
Is this my imagination or has someone else noticed this too?
No no I think youâre right. Itâs definitely a lot quieter lately. Though I never got much engagement to begin with since I primarily post fandom g/t which doesnât really gain much traction unless itâs something really popular. Iâve been trying to interact more. I kinda suck at talking to people most of the time but I figure I wonât get any better if I donât try.
