WHY DO I SEE SO MANY SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE SUPERNATURAL MEN AND THE GOLDEN GIRLS?
Part 2: Dean and Blanche (not proof read)
Of course it would be Dean and Blanche.
No one can compete with their sex appeal, their confidence when talking to others, especially when they find interest in someone.
They ego is so big, it could compete with the Empire State Building. (Although it is very fragile, cuz as we know, Dean is goated in self-loathing and if you insult Blanche’s appearance, a crash out it guaranteed)
Also, neither of them seem very much interested in having a long term relationship. Still, they are compassionate and care very much about their family and friends. They are not just the ‘sluts’ of the group.
They are fun, bring that certain spark to the group.
An interesting observation though is that Dean tries to numb his feelings in one night stands, tries to forget, while Blanche tries to feel everything- she would never sleep with just anyone and has to be impressed before sharing the bed with a man.
If Dean and Blanche were to know another (in this head-canon they all kinda have a motherly to the boys), I think him and her would have a playful and teasing relationship, maybe even a small rivalry.
Blanche walks out of her room, all dressed up to meet Bob- or was it Billy? It doesn’t matter. Dean and Sophia sit on the couch, watching Rambo.
“Oh look here.” says Sophia, a devilish smirk on her lips, “why do you put so much effort, if that dress falls off the second you see that man anyways?”
“Oh Sophia!” Says Blanche, pretending to be scandalized by that comment, but everyone knows she takes it as a compliment by that smile on her face.
“Sure bout that Sophia?” Says Dean laughing, sitting more upright, a challenging gleam in his eyes as he looks at the woman, “cuz to me it looks like our Mrs. Devereaux is losing her spark.”
This, this gets a rise out of the other woman. “Losing my spark?!! LOSING MY SPARK!?” She strides forward and hits Dean’s arm with her matching purse. Dean laughs, enduring the little outburst to his own pleasure.
“I was already twisting men’s minds before you were born, young man!”
The senior laughs again, pleased with her wit and Dean just has to join her.
Blanche crosses her arms “I bet I can get a man home faster than you some- some little tramp!”
“Ohhh.” Says Dean, holding his hands up before rising to his feet. “Big words from a woman over-“
“Don’t you finish that sentence!”
The bet is on, to the rusty anchor!
Dean stumbles in the house, deeply interlocked with- Beverly? Or was it Barbra? Doesn’t matter. He doesn’t notice Sam and Dorothy on the couch, before he hears the familiar groan from him little brother.
He leans away, lipstick stain on the side of his lips.
“Oh, seems like someone didn’t get a date for Saturday night.”
Dorothy just glares at him. Sam rolls his eyes. “Dean, can you keep it down? My finals are-“
“Ah- that is your problem, Sammy, live a little!”
Then, he hears it. The sounds from Blanche’s room.
Dean’s confident drops. “That damned woman-“
Dorothy smirks, a smug expression on her face as soon as she sees the bruised ego in Dean’s eyes.
“Seems like you lost this round, big guy.”
