sometimes autistic people still come across as weird, annoying, creepy, rude, "unlikable", or incomprehensible even when they're talking to other autistic people. autism is a communication disorder first and foremost. even if we can generally have fewer problems communicating with one another than with allistics, that doesn't mean that it's entirely a "language barrier" so to speak. our communication is still impaired even when we're talking to each other.

I wish they had had wood shop class in grade school instead of macrame
