Life and Abyss

I'm so happy to be taking part in @color-palettes's palette challenge! It's a rare opportunity for me to experiment with this kind of drawing approach. It was really a fun experience.

After surveying the surroundings and ruling out other possibilities, I think the most likely species is the Japanese white-eye. Spring has barely begun, and they've already hatched. They literally don't waste a single moment.
