Elliott is having a little more difficulty on Tinder. Actually trying to talk to ladies on Tinder is way harder than I imagined. I do have a tendency to quickly swipe right as fast as possible, but often results in me ignoring the gems of profiles that are out there. Trying to change my ways.

And yes, as Zach said, girls rarely message you first and by the time I rack up a solid number of matches to take some convo risks, I’m sleepy and I leave it for the morning. And then they probably wonder why this dude is awake and messaging them at 7:30am. (Because I work full time and have an hour long commute ya dingus).

tinder is so much easier if you're a girl.

i know that sounds sexist or whatever but it's my conclusion based on this limited sample size. i literally have 200 messages from dudes. probably an 80% conversion rate on swipe-rights.

most of them send the first message, ignore my contrived idiocy, play along with my stupid jokes. i insult them and they laugh it off. I ignore them for two days and then message them and they come back like eager puppydoges within five minutes.

on the flipside: jess has been working 5x as hard as me and has like a dozen matches. the girls are flaky and just stop talking when they are done with her/"me". very few send any first-messages.
