Wanda nodded to everything that Tina was saying, but then shrugged lightly. “I think puppies and pets in general are a lot like love. You are destined to find the one that is right for you” Maybe she couldn’t see it yet, but there was a reason why her dog was so active. “Maybe you will need his happiness soon or you will be able to share it with someone who needs it”

“Oh absolutely. We’re a good match most days,” Tina agreed, knowing fully she wouldn’t trade her dog away for anything in the world. “So tell me what’s new with you,” she offered, giving Wanda her full attention. “Any exciting wedding coming up or anything?”

JUNI: mmm, brownies.

JUNI: that i can definitely do for you~

JUNI: ooh, we could make a day of that. just baking different things. i can teach you if you'd like?

TINA: That could be a lot of fun.

SPENCER: I'll buy it tomorrow!

SPENCER: Marley.

SPENCER: I'd react to her videos.

SPENCER: Although, I don't know how fun that would be for everyone else. It'd just be compliment after compliment.

TINA: I mean, I knew, but it's more fun to have you say it.

SPENCER: I've heard so many good things. I actually don't know why I didn't see it in theaters.

SPENCER: There's someone.

SPENCER: A blue eyed someone.

TINA: You can make up for it now ;)

SPENCER: Is that the Olivia Wilde directed movie? I heard that one was good.

SPENCER: If you tell me to react to covers, there is one challenge I'd react to.

TINA: Yeah! It was super good. 10/10 would recommend.

Puppies always made her feel happy, specially when they were happy to see her as they were old friends. “He does seem to have a lot of energy, not like my little son here who wants to rest the entire day” Wanda’s head moved to the side curiously. “How old is him? Scott is three years but he is an old soul for sure”

“He’s about two and a half. He was a birthday present to myself when I moved out to LA. My apartment was too quiet on my own,” Tina explained, roughing up Benji’s face a little before encouraging him to calm down and settle on her lap. “He’s really good at keeping me going when I want to stop. Though sometimes I think a chill dog like Scott here would be better.”

“I’m not judging. It just sounds too complicated for me. I don’t get how you do it.” Sophie sighed, this is why she didn’t want a relationship. All the feelings involved were too stressful. “Right. And you won’t stalk my socials, and camp out near our apartments if it does happen?” She laughed, knowing how crazy it sounded in her head. “I hope you guys can work it out. I mean it. Ryan deserves someone who returns the same feelings as him.” Sophie couldn’t return his feelings of love, so she wished that Tina or anyone else would be able to do it. 

“Complicated is generally my life’s M.O. unfortunately,” Tina half-joked, though it was mostly true, at least when it came to most relationships in her life. Things never seemed to be easy. “Pinky promise. My stalking days are over. Not that I was stalking before? It literally was wrong place, wrong time, and totally wrong attitude on my part,” she pointed out, though she knew they were past the point of needing that. She sighed as Sophie spoke of what Ryan deserved, only because it was true, and she wasn’t sure she was that person. “He deserves the world, honestly.”

SPENCER: Other than albums, what do you think I should react to? Is there a movie you've watched recently that you think others should watch?

TINA: Booksmart just came out on digital last week. That would be a quality reaction video probably.

“I get that,” Hunter nodded.  “I don’t think the two of you could have been through everything you’ve been through and not have it be difficult to end things.”  He smiled shyly, looking down, feeling like he’d really lucked out, that he’d had that movie moment.  “I don’t think it’s ridiculous.  And you deserve that.  Even if it’s not with Ryan.”

Hunter chuckled.  “Oh, believe me, I know.  I know I’m taking it rather lightly but that’s because it’s huge and I’m kind of freaking out but in a good way.  I don’t want to mess up what we have, but I also don’t want him to think I’m taking him for granted again.”  He nodded his head.  “Yeah, you’re not getting rid of me so easily Miss Cohen-Chang.”  He considered the idea of a ring for Jamie and looked up at Tina.  “No, we’re not necessarily traditional but maybe we should go look.  At least that would be an ‘actual’ gift for him,” Hunter laughed. 

Tina nodded at his assessment, something in her would probably be tied to Ryan for sometime. Not loving him had never been the issue, and now it was something to learn. “I hope I do,” she agreed, “can’t have you out here with the only fairy tale romance. I think you should go for it. No risk, no reward, right?” She smiled, knowing Hunter was stuck with her as well, roommates or not. They’d bonded in a way she’d never expected over the past almost year, and she’d be damned if she lost him at this point. “Tangible gifts are nice,” she agreed, “so just say when and I’ll definitely come with.”

JUNI: so, what are you interested in? (:

TINA: I’ve got a brownie craving.

“I bet it is; I can’t wait to experience it,” Mia grinned.  Her smile only increasing in wattage as Tina spoke.  “I think you’ve left out a couple of details,” she replied.  “Like the movie night sleep over in the park, or really, anytime we’ve hung out.  The views have always been stunning from my vantage point.”  She reached over and brushed a lock of hair behind Tina’s ear and let her lips caress Tina’s cheek.  “Cute clothes not far from campus with you?  That’s the winning part.”

Tina licked her lips briefly, a shade of pink tinting her cheeks at Mia’s compliment. She certainly had a way with making her feel special. “I guess it’s lucky for you that I like to shopping, huh? I’ll go with you anytime you want,” she assured, pausing for a moment to pull the tickets up on her phone and show them to the attendant at the dock. “So tell me more about your trip home,” Tina offered, leading them into the small queue. “The pictures all looked great.”

BLAINE: Thanks. It's nice to know someone does.

BLAINE: Really? You don't sound too sure about that.

BLAINE: Oh...where are you going? Anywhere exciting?

BLAINE: What's going on in your head that you're getting caught up in?

TINA: I'm sure I'm not the only one

TINA: Just one of those weeks where life throws a lot at you.

TINA: Home. My parents keep pestering me to come home and I want to go before it gets cold.

“Hey hey.” smiled Colby. “Been a minute, hasn’t it. Things are pretty good. How ‘bout yourself?” He pointed at the rolled up yoga mat. “Yoga or pilates?” 

“Yeah, same, good. Busy a little, trying to hang on to the last dredges of summer. Although... being an influencer in California, it’s kinda all like summer?” Tina reasoned with a bit of a chuckle. “Oh, yoga. Always.”

“Better late than never?” Hunter offered.  He squeezed her hand.  “I didn’t exactly see this coming you know?  That having that conversation was going to lead us back to each other this way after all this time.  Did you want it to work out with Ryan though?” he asked.  Because the last time Tina hadn’t seemed sure and it wasn’t fair to either of them to continue on in a limbo state.  

Hunter’s eyes widened a little and he was quiet for a few moments.  “Terrified actually.  Although he did joke that it was my turn to ask this time but maybe that’s all it is…a joke.”  He shook his head.  “I’ve never really been the guy that lets fear control me though…except when it comes to the emotional stuff like love.  And I want to be done with that.”  Hunter chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair.  “You can visit whenever you want as long as you’re not just visiting the cat.  Do you think I need a ring?”

“I still don’t know,” she answered, sighing a little. “I know it was right for me to have it be over. The back and forth this wasn’t fair, but it still kind of sucks. And now he’s working nights, which he hates, so he doesn’t have to see me.” Tina shook her head of it all, “I think I was... or maybe still am, waiting for that movie moment, you know? Where everything comes into perfect focus and you just know what you want and you get to move forward and get that happily ever after and everything else.” She could only laugh at herself once it was out. “Ridiculous, I know.”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to dampen the idea. This is just... huge you know. And spontaneity is romantic and all, but I want you to be sure,” Tina defended, knowing as she listened to Hunter, he was. Jamie would be a fool to say no, really. “Well, I assume our lunch dates will still happen. And you’ll sure still torture me with your beloved runs every once in a while, but yes, I will make pleasant conversation with you while I dote on the cat,” she teased. “Well, traditionally, yes. Though I suppose the two of you aren’t necessarily traditional.”

Honestly…it hurt like a bitch.  

Wanda loved to have some fresh air, specially with her little Scott close to her legs. While he had always being a good dog, in his first years he had gotten used to running around in her parent’s backyard and he was a little restricted, so she liked to take him out as much as she could. However, he did little running, mostly staying lied on her side, casually moving his head whenever something caught his attention. This time, when her dog barfed in warning, the girl had little time ro react to another dog approached, happy and excited. “Hey, buddy!” It was an instant reflex to open her arms for the dog, who snuggled closer as she pet him all around. The voice of someone familiar made her look up from the new puppy, her smile brightening when it was Tina. The other girl had always being nice and Wanda truly enjoyed her company, as well as her videos. They always made her feel like Tina knew all the answers to the world. “Oh, it’s not problem at all to received hugs” Her hand moved to signal the empty space beside her. “Come on, sit with us for a little while. You must be tired to chase after this fluffy ball” 

Benii looked up at Tina with a face that she could only interpret at “Mom! Friends!” and any tiny bit of frustration she had about his bounding off was gone. He licked at Wanda’s face before focusing on friend his own size. Dog pals for life? He certainly hoped so. “He definitely keeps me on my toes,” Tina explained as she filled the empty space, giving both dogs a little rustle, “less so now that he’s made it out of the puppy phase. But he’s definitely never known a stranger.”

BLAINE: I ...

BLAINE: I just get this way sometimes.

BLAINE: Why? What's going on?

TINA: Oh well.. I miss you when you are?

TINA: Nothing... really?

TINA: I'm heading out of town in a few weeks so I've got to make sure everything is order.
