The guilty

pleasure

of putting

wipped cream

in my cup

of coffee

the earth

on my hands

all dirty

after planting

different colors

in my garden

the joy 

found

I did not

really

know

you

but grateful

I am

for the small

role played

in providing

the comfort

being a caring

Dragging all the mud

down the stream

the river turns into

a dangerous flow

pushing its boundaries

becoming a suprising

and unwanted guest

life can turn into that river

pushing forward

continuing further and further

untill there is no return

pushing its boundaries

changing who we are

Recharging

your battery

convinced

of me, being

an inexaustible source

of energy.

Now you know

I´m not the sun,

but the moon

reflecting

the light

you had within you

Over the past years

heartbroken

when sorrow struck

like thunder in a tree.

but can´t you see

shouldn´t you let go

of all the grief 

surrounding your heart

why don´t you slap control?

is it too much

We are so alike

craving for

admiration,

adoration,

attention,

and the need

to be loved

so badly

we sometimes

forget

to stop

and look

in our hearts

were we would find

enough goodness

The hatred

as a door

to the past

the facade

broken down

for the first

and last time

a glimpse

of the real

history

fears

anxiety

insecurity

no way

back

can we

repair

what

is

the moment

one looses

a beloved one

anger takes over

but hate

only temporarily

confiscates the heart

it may take days, weeks

in the end

it will be sadness,

regret and remorse

taking over

and when the heart becomes still

and no more tears are left

the openness

of your heart

inspiring and

terrifying 

at the same time

every moment

of disappointment

poured out of you

as if you personally

felt the pain of the world

and in these moments

the unrest in my heart

grew stronger

knowing there was

I´m sorry

if I blamed you

too many times

for my own mistakes

the truth is

I build a wall

erected fences

around my heart

pulling back

was the only way I knew

to protect myself

With a heart

full of dispair

I dance

furiously

refusing

to give up

my dreams

our love.

Born a free man

I became enslaved

by opinions of others

Every tear

we have shed

is not lost

but a beginning

for growth

like a tree

whose branches

reach close to heaven

and whose roots

are firmly in the earth

every single

drop of rain

provides the tree

a chance

to grow

creates an opportunity

and become the tree

protecting

and sheltering us

against the storm
