“Yes, I came to that conclusion after I realized who you were, although you’re awfully different from the Ultimecia I had met.” He replied, watching as a ball python made itself comfortable on one of his horns. She indeed was different, but Mateus couldn’t really place what it was that made her that way. Was there perhaps a universe where Ultimecia and he were…..? No. The thought made him a little queasy, but anything was possible.

A hand goes to his head, nails gripping amethyst tipped blonde locks as Mateus attempted to gather his composure. He needn’t let these feelings show, they hindered him from doing what he needed. The fact that he was being witnessed like this alone was embarrassing enough.

     “Different timelines can cause those differences. Had I noticed these little dears before I might have stopped myself before this happened.” She was too focused on seeing Mateus, well, her Mateus to notice the snakes. She was kicking herself a bit, it would have saved a lot of awkwardness if she had. She didn’t want to just leave him like this though...

Ulti…Ultimecia? He remembered an Ultimecia, she was a warrior of Chaos. Although, she didn’t act like this and Mateus certainly didn’t remember engaging in any sort of intimacy with her either. Wait, did she just call him Matty?

“This…this must be a trick…” A hand grips the arm of the throne chair as he tries to calm himself, feeling scales wrap around his appendages as a dozen snakes begun to slither over to the throne. They didn’t seem to mind Ultimecia, in fact some sat right in front of her, flicking their tongues curiously as others went to go comfort the panicking blonde.

“I do not recall getting intimate w-with you.” Mateus said after a minute or so had past of him trying to regulate his breathing. Lavender hues stared at her, holding nothing but panic. “Please don’t call me Matty, either.”

     She was going to reply, but seeing the snakes she stopped. Since when did he- Oh no. Well, that made a lot more sense now. This was a right mess wasn’t it? Ugh, her powers could be so annoying sometimes. “I, think I’m starting to see what happened here.” Sighing, she rubbed at her temple a bit, taking note of the little serpents eyeing her. Yes this certainly was a different timeline.

“Why are you here?” There is no pleasantries, no idle talk. Seifer demanded to know how she managed to manifest into a real, living entity. He had only seen her in his dreams – in the visions when she wanted him to see her… and here he could nearly reach out to touch her… this witch… this wicked creature…
