Waiting.

Is there a wolf under your sheep clothing?

Patience.

You practiced patience as you have learned how to excel at the game of uncertainty.

My sense of detecting danger finally kicks in.

But it’s too late.

He’s a savage and found his prey.

Obsessive.

It’s going to be a game of cat and mouse.

His whisky lips caress the the back of my neck leaving me heedless.

Could it be the buzz of the poison that I downed too quickly?

The room spins.
