Timeless sounds

A true classic that’s been lost for more than 40 years.

The Singer/Songwriter Jim Sullivan who vanished in the mid 70’s and nobody ever heard from him again, that is an abashment, there is not even a wkpedia page attributed to his name. He recorded two albums, one which contains the song U.F.O. (album same title) that I still don’t understand how this song didn’t become a classic of The Pop Culture. What’s going on???

This song just called my attention while having my mp3 player on shuffle mode. I Immediately switched to repeat mode. Incredible seductive track by The Dandy Warhols from their 1997 release "...The Dandy Warhols Come Down". That's a timeless sound right there!

From their 1987 release "Sister". This song goes back and forth between chaos and tranquility. love it!

This is the ending track of their highly influential album Psychocandy. This song has one of the grooviest bass lines I've heard. Listen

From the album "Low" 1977, and still sounds great to my ears with all its imperfections. "Sound and Vision" by David Bowie. Truly a Timeless Sound!

This song is steadily great. Having said that, That Ghost is the one-man-band, Ryan Schmale from Northern California. I found about this after I gave a listen to last years' Urban Outfitters Feb 28th Music Mondays list.

This sounds like nothing I've heard before.

A handful of people know about this band and that's a shame. From Southern California, Acetone - "I've Enjoyed As Much Of This As I Can Stand". They split in 2001 after the death of the frontman Richie Lee, who took his own life consuming an excessive amount of alcohol and drugs.
