Time stops for no living being. For nothing that exists. It is a consent that always looms over life. It's what makes every living thing relate to one another. But what if something, someone, is an exception? What if time just.... stopped? Perhaps an ordinary college student named Thomas Sanders has the answers. Well, more like he'll find the answers, though no means of his own. Out of his control, he'll discover more about Time than any other human. (Thomas Sanders Creations AU. Sanders Sides, Cartoon Therapy, Roleslaying with Roman, and TS Shorts. Asks to Authors are open)

A timeline and a novel are very similar. Both have twists and turns, surprises, joy and despair. Looking through a timeline is much like reading a book. Not everything is always as it seems and the story never ends just because the reader stopped reading.
The Middle, The End, and The Beginning
Think about a crystal, as a whole. But when looking closer, you can see the fractures with it. Each fracture in the crystal, big or small, holds it's very own story. It may be broken but it has held out for so long living to show the scars of every tale it has gone through beyond its main fracture to show it's beauty.
This is where all the questions of importance will be. So pick up the quill, don't be timid. The authors will connect the most important Questions to the pages of this tale.

Hello Travelers and Readers Mx Brightness here and I have some unfortunate news to give
Unfortunately Mx Spiritwell is having personal problems currently and so it is very difficult for faem to balance that and posting regularly at the same time and as the holder of this page of tales they feel quite a bit of pressure to give out tales for you all and the guilt of having nothing out is getting to them. So we are taking a step back to focus on what needs to be done now and will put out what we have at a later date whenever we can
This is part of why we haven't given anything for so long and we deeply apologize for that but once again we are the authors are still human just like you. So while we will do our best to give you all what we can we will also focus on giving it to you all when we can even if the space is far apart
Be assured that we have not given up. Things are just difficult right and we would like to let you all know so that there is no disappointment in our absence
Mx Brightness and I have a question of all of you Readers and Travellers. It seems like our attempts to make an interactive story has failed to grab any of you to deliver asks, even with anonymous asks on.
Please, tell us how we can better make this interactive part of our tale more intriguing or entertaining. We greatly appreciate it. Until then, stay safe out in the stars.
Trigger warnings: Getting lost within a forest, stalking, blood, injury, knives, being carved into, being chased, rituals, cults, mentions of fire, burns, yelling, panic and anxiety, and unsympathetic characters. A sudden groan interrupted the silence as the man bonked his head against the desk letting out a sigh. "Come on Thomas, think! You've done this a million times before! It's not that hard! It's not even school work!" he lifted his head up again and stared down at the paper again
There was silence as a young adult at the desk stared down at a blank piece of paper. Looking at it as if something would pop up any moment. Something that would make the still pen in his hand glide along the smooth white surface.
For the past hour Thomas had been sitting at his deck, trying to come up with a script for a new episode for his channel. But nothing was coming to mind. No matter how hard he thought or concentrated. He was always working hard for his fans to come up with new content for them to keep them happy. So why was he struggling now? He always did just fine so why was he struggling to come up with something now?
"...Nope. Can't do this," Thomas let out another frustrated groan as he laid his head down. "Why can't I do this? I would've come up with something by now. It's just a Sanders Sides episode!...that I want to reveal Anxiety's name in..." he looked at the clock on his phone and gave a sigh, shoulders slumping down as the phone fell from his hand.
Thomas let out another sigh as he looked up. "Whyyyyyyyy…" He looked at the long table he and his roommate call a kitchen. Two mini fridges, two sets of small plastic filing cabinets full of pantry-like food, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster oven. "Maybe some food would work? I haven't eaten for a while...Yeah maybe that's it." Thomas stood up and stretched out his sore back, mindful of the loft bed above.
He looked and looked through his mini fridge and filing cabinet, trying to find something that would catch his interest. Leftovers? He didn't feel like heating it up, Cookies? He didn't want anything sweet right now, Fruit? Another time, Pizza? Nah, not in the mood for pizza…surprisingly.
Nothing seemed to work, making him growl and slam the fridge door shut before bonking his head on the table above it. "Come on, come on, come on! I promised content for the fanders! I have to give them content!" he looked around and let out a grumble like whine "Maybe food just isn't the answer-"
The sudden sound of birds chirping snapped Thomas out of his thoughts, making him look out the window above the table. A pair of blue birds tweeted along as they flew by, the sound of flapping wings only being heard since Nico left the window open. There weren't any clouds in the sky as the sun shined down on the earth. Thomas watched, enchanted by something that wasn't white with blue lines or an empty document.
...When was the last time he went outside?
Thomas shook his head trying to come up with a solid answer as to when but failed. The most he remembered going out was when he needed to head off to classes or the library.
"Wow...Did I really lose track of everything…?" Thomas rubbed the back of his head as he looked over to under his loft. Papers scrunched up littered the desk and floor, pens were discarded around the desk, notebooks and textbooks had piled up with his laptop open, playing music. The touch of multiple empty mugs painted the perfect picture. "Oh...I really did...Crap,"
As another round of chirping ran through the dorm room, taking Thomas's attention once again. Maybe…he could...would he really be able to do that? He needed this episode written up and done, but at the same time he was stuck and lost on what to do..."Maybe I can go out for a walk…? I have been working for a long time and it wouldn't hurt to try,"
After a few moments of Thomas reassuring himself he suddenly perked up. "Yeah...Yeah! I will do that. It could help me think more," he nodded to himself as he put on his brown leather jacket and grabbed his bag, making sure to have his phone and wallet "I won't be long, It's just a walk after all, Just a little walk,"
Thomas nodded to himself as he walked over his dorm door and opened it slightly, looking to see if anyone was in the hallway before walking out of the room, locking the door and making his way to the stairs. When he finally got to the bottom floor and opened the door, he winced at the bright light flooding his vision. He blinked a few times trying to get used to the light outside until he could see but soon smiled as his eyes adjusted, letting him see clearly.
He closed the building door and hummed a small tune as he walked along the campus grounds. Students and teachers were mingling and running to classes. People cleaned up rubbish that had fallen, reading and studying in the sun, enjoying the spring air. The flowers in the flower beds bloomed in beautiful colours that complimented the old and sophisticated feel of the buildings. The college shops were empty while the Cafe and library were packed with students. Thomas grinned. He might not live at home anymore but he loved the feeling of freedom and the opportunities he had.
Thomas watched for cars and gave a wave to Joan, Talyn, Quill and Nico as he headed in the opposite direction to them.
"The dorm better not be a mess Mr Sanders!"
"Me? Messing up our dorm room? I would never! I thought you knew me better than that Mr Flores!"
Nico laughed "I do. That's why I know it's a mess,"
"We're going to the Cafe, wanna join us?" Quill gave a cheerful smile.
Talyn nodded excitedly. "Come on, it'll be fun!"
Nico added, "it's so hard to get everyone together, please say you're free,"
"Sorry, I need to clear my head to help with this creative block. I'd prefer a walk alone,"
"I can help with the script tonight if you'd like, mate," Joan smiled and put a reminder in their phone.
"Thanks Joan,"
"I'll be there too if you want me too," Quill smiled.
"What did I do to get friends like you guys? I'll see you all tonight,"
"Pizza party!" Nico laughed "catch you later Thomas!"
"See ya guys tonight!"
Thomas continued to walk through the streets, watching out for cars and enjoying the livelihood of the campus. He finally got to the edge of campus and stopped. He didn't have a plan for where to go. He just left the dorm room, not really thinking where to go. He looked to the left and right.
"Hmmm Shops or forest…?" He looked right, taking in the developed roads, shops and restaurants around the campus. He could go and sit in a cafe, watch how others interact and take notes of his own anxieties being within a public setting. Thomas sighed and shook his head
"I'm trying to save money and going to the shop won't help,” Thomas looked to his left and grinned "So to the forest!"
Thomas walked towards the dirt path that led into the dense forest that surrounded the left of the school.
He always had a fascination about the forest that surrounded his town, hearing about its beauty and mystical feel from others on campus. Many of the students have praised the forest for its diversity in flora and fauna, talking about how it was a great place for inspiration. Thomas closed his eyes, hoping it was true. It would be more helpful for him if he was in a good area, taking him out of his old thought process and gave him a new one to think about as he wasn’t stuck in his messy dorm room and thus stuck in his previous ideas.
To Thomas's joy, he found a beautiful forest blooming around him. Many old trees surrounded the area, growing tall and providing moments of shade with their leaves. The sunlight glimmered though the leaves, creating a mystical feel as it reflected off the ground and rocks. The colour green was most pronounced within the forest, from the moss on the rocks to the fawns along the ground. There were other colours though, browns from the dirt and bark, pinks, purples and blues from the flowers that grew along the funa. Every plant varied with size, but all were stunning in their own way.
Thomas listened to the chirping of the birds, humming along to the tune. The flapping of the wings echoed throughout the forest, adding to its song. Animals of all shapes and sizes prowled the forest ground. Many stayed clear of the path but allowed themselves to be seen. Thomas sometimes was lucky to see them run along the path or along the branches of the trees. He glazed through all of this as he walked into the forest looking at everything he could still in awe of the beauty in the forest while he continued to hum the forest’s song.
Thomas felt himself relax, enjoying every second of this stroll. It felt calm, everything felt so soothing and just, perfect. This would be an amazing set to do some vines or even a video down the track. Maybe Roman could show the imagination to Thomas? Or maybe they could shoot at night and this is Virgil's room? A forest of fears and anxiety. The viewers would adore it! But what if they don't? What if this was too much? Too ambitious? What if they hate him forever and cancel him?!
Thomas sighed. Why was he getting all worked up about this video? It was just a silly video for his channel. It wasn't a final exam or what he was studying. He should focus more on his degree.
He was in his last year of Engineering, and with all the work that Mr Freaking Something had been giving him, he was working harder than ever to be able to pass. On top of that, he was also trying to keep his channel afloat at the same time. As much as he enjoyed and was having fun doing what he loved, he questioned where he would go next in life. College didn’t last forever and he’d have to make a choice. Did he want to pursue a career within the engineering field? Or would he prefer to have that as a backup and work on his acting and channel?
If he wanted to do something bigger and help push society forward with his knowledge in engineering, then it could push back the channel quite a bit as he would need to spend a lot of time working to be able to do something good. If he chose to better his channel and work on social media, then he would have spent years going into debt for nothing and his qualification would just collect dust. Either way, Thomas knew he’d be spending hours upon hours working, hardly having any free time. The thought process brought up another thought to the front of his mind.
His family would be happy for him; no matter what he chose to do. Unfortunately, it would also mean more time away from them. He already missed a lot due to his work load, like the birth of his first niece, and his parents anniversary dinner, not to mention last thanksgivings since he was working. He just wanted to be with them and to be able to join in with all the family activities. He really didn't know where he wanted to go next after graduating, but he wasn’t sure if he was ready to let go of some of the things that made him happy.
Thomas felt himself shudder before he shook his head, trying to clear his mind. "No, No, that'll all come in time. Right now, I just need to relax so that I can try and make another ep-" he suddenly stopped in his tracks.
Something didn't feel right. He looked around the forest, trying to figure out what was wrong. That’s when he heard it. He heard nothing. No birds, no animals, not even the wind. There was absolute silence around him, making him feel a bit nervous.
"Okay Thomas...Calm down and breathe. It’s okay, everything is okay. All you have to do is follow the path back and you'll be-" his eyes widened as he turned around. The pathway was nowhere to be seen. "How…" he realized that he must've gone off the pathway while in his thoughts without noticing…”Fuck,”
The air was heavy, weighing Thomas down. His breaths became short. It was harder to breathe. The peaceful atmosphere was gone. Thomas only felt tense.
"Okayyy,'' he pulled out his phone while running his hand through his hair. "Don't panic just yet, just breathe. Maybe you can call someone and they can-"
His breath hitched as when he looked at his phone he saw that there was no service."...Ah shit…Okay...okay I still won't panic. Ummm, maybe I can just find my way back myself...yeah I'll do that, I'm sure I'll be able to find my way back…"
Thomas nodded to himself, making sure he had put his phone away safely before he started to attempt to retrace his steps.
He felt himself shiver, hands gripping his arms out of instinct. Why was everything so quiet? Animals were never this still, and there was wind earlier! He shivered again, not being able to shake off the anxious feeling he had about the situation. How could this have happened? How did he get lost so easily? This was a time to relax, not worry about getting back to his college...But no matter, he would find his way back at some point...right?
Thomas nodded to himself...Of course he would, the forest wasn't too far from civilization. He should be fine as long as he doesn't get lost again...Which he can do! He just needs to calm down first, take some deep breaths, then everything will be okay! There was no need to worry. This will all just be a funny story to tell to his friends later at the party!
Thomas took a big deep breath, trying to think positively so he could calm his racing mind. He would get back to the campus. Getting lost in the forest won't affect the rest of his life; he will get back. After a few moments of thinking, Thomas gave a sigh of relief, his anxiety went down a bit. it was easier for him to see if he could hear anything again. Any animals, the wind blowing through the leaves, hell even cars or people, anything! The silence was really creeping him out.
Thomas stopped in his tracks as his jaw dropped a bit. He didn't hear the sound of any cars, or any animals, but he did hear the small sound of whispers.Thomas looked around the area trying to spot anyone amongst the trees, hoping that maybe they could help him. He searched for a few moments and saw no one. Thomas decided to just chalk it up to it being just the wind passing by again, making him shrug. He looked around once more before he continued to walk.
Thomas felt his breath get caught in his throat, his chest squeezing as his heart beat the sounds of war drums. That couldn't have been the wind, he would at least feel some kind of breeze pass by, or some cold air, and he would have heard the leaves move. Something wasn't right about the whispers. Thomas gripped his bag tightly and picked up his pace. His breath got louder. He could feel eyes on him, someone watching him. Thomas listened closely to his surroundings and slightly shook when he could hear the whispers getting louder.
Was he being followed?
Thomas gripped his bag till his knuckles turned white and turned around, blindly running away from the whispers. He suddenly bumped into something and fell backwards.
“Oh gosh! Ow…what was tha-'' Thomas blinked. He had run into a person. Thomas felt his chest loosen slightly.
“Thank goodness! Can you help me? I'm really-“ Thomas stopped and looked around, he saw more people approaching him, creating a circle. “Lost…”
Thomas fiddled with the strap of his satchel. Something wasn't right here. He looked around the circle, trying to keep away from anyone. He ended up in the middle of these people. All stiff, not moving, not talking, but Thomas could feel their eyes watching his every move. Thomas took in their outfits…well, he’d call them a uniform as they all wore the exact same thing. Blue vest and bottoms, white shirts, leather boots and gloves. Honestly, they looked like they were all in the middle of a...period drama LARP.
Thomas bit his lip as he observed the golden masks that covered the top half of the faces. He felt his stomach drop and he slightly shook.
“What the…”
The people finally looked at one another and whispered amongst themselves. Two of the people moved, allowing a gap for a man to walk forward, approaching Thomas. Thomas looked over the man, clearly this person must be a leader of some kind. He was wearing a long dark blue dress coat and had a lot more gold on him.
Thomas really hoped he just ran into the middle of a session.
The person looked over Thomas and smiled. He removed his mask, showing a deep purple hair colour and blue eyes. Thomas’s eyes widened as he saw that the man's pupils were in the shape of a broken hourglass. "Well hello there Thomas Sanders. It's such an honor to be talking to you right now! We've all been waiting for a chance like this for such a long time and we're so happy it's happening right now!"
Thomas gripped his arms as he took a step back. "Uh thanks…" he felt his stomach chern and his legs became like jelly. He really never knew how to deal with overly obsessed fans. They always creeped him out. Thomas shook his head. He was being ridiculous. They must just really enjoy his content. You know, glad he ran into the middle of their session
"Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Doctor Emile Picani and I’m the head librarian of The Archive of Spiralear Enlightenment!"
Thomas raised an eyebrow "Oh! That...um...nice? You do you...being happy is important after all," he shook his head "look, I'm lost and trying to find my way back to town, I don't want to take part in your LARP,"
Thomas felt really uncomfortable with all the searing. He felt clammy and was breathing quickly. He was really pulling out the confidence act here.
Thank you Professor Prince for running theatre!
Thomas shook his head, trying to remove the thoughts of the Hispanic actor. He had to leave now before it was too late. Thomas took a step back from Emile and looked around the circle. His breath hitched as he saw the people had moved closer, making it harder for Thomas to slip away.
"What the hell?!"
Emile chuckled a bit. "Oh, sorry about this Thomas, It's just that we have been waiting for a chance to get you alone like this for so long now! We can't just let you go so easily,"
"What the fuck you talking about?! You've just met me!"
"Oh no no, We've been watching you and your interests for a very long time now. From how you get excited at the thought of talking about space, seeing you get fascinated with how time works, to seeing you so focused on mechanics, whether you have your hands on them or not-"
Thomas swallowed the lump in his throat as he stared at Emile. He suddenly rolled his eyes. "Oh ha ha, very funny now. All you did was watch my last vlog to figure all that information out and did a simple search. Now stop with this creepy act! Or I'll call the police!"
Emile tilted his head. "Oh? You don't believe me?"
"Of course not! That information is all public,"
Emile grinned. "Then let's go into some more personal things, You are one of four brothers in your family with two parents who treat you all well, You are currently in a college not too far from this forest working on getting an Engineering-"
"Common knowledge. I'm on the internet and over share myself, it's not that hard to figure out. Now seriously stop before I actually call-"
"Fine then, let's go even deeper. You've been bullied since you were a young child, as for the reason, it is unknown as no one knows why they did that to you. You came out of the closet at age 18 because you called your professor, who was Professor Remus Freaking Something, hot while blushing. You have many friends who you just talked to today on your way here. All of them respectively go by the names Talyn, Joan, Quill, and Nico, who all happily offered to help you on your script for your YouTube series Sanders Sides to which you're currently planning to reveal anxiety's name.
“That name is Virgil, inspired by the Arts Professor Virgil Tempus. You also have plans for a snake side called Deceit and a dark creativity that goes into exploring intrusive thoughts. You want to name them Janus and Remus after the Law and Engineering professors, as the group of friends, including Astrology Professor Logan Stella, Early Education Professor Patton Hart and the Performing Arts Professor Roman Prince, influenced the series. But you're not too sure about it yet as you want the names to have meanings that go with the characters. Am I correct?"
Thomas stared at Emile not knowing what to say. Everything he said about him was right...He even knew what he did on his way over to the forest...They really were stalking him for a long time...days, weeks, months even years.
"W-why...No, how do you know all that information?"
"Like I said Thomas, We've been keeping a close eye on you,"
"But...But why? What is so important about me? This can't just be a super fan thing…"
Emile's grin widened, freaking out Thomas more. "Because! You are just so special, so unique to the point where it doesn't matter anymore! You're absolutely perfect for what we need!"
Thomas stayed silent, staring at Emile for a few moments. His mind whirled around with what he just heard. These…this...the outfits, the mannerisms, these people doing what this one crazy man wants, the stalking….this can't be role play...this was dangerous.
"...NOPE!"
Thomas quickly turned around and ran up to the closest person. He bashed his shoulder into their chest, knocking them down. He jumped over the body and ran as fast as he could. He had to try and get away from whatever this was. He just had to get away.
"FOLLOW HIM NOW! DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY!"
Thomas could hear the anger and authority in Emiles voice as it echoed around him. The quick footsteps behind him were all he needed to know that he was in serious danger.
Thomas looked around for a moment, observing the forest. He spotted a more dense part of the forest, where the trees were larger with many more plants and rocks around, a perfect place to hide. He immediately ran towards the trees, hoping to lose the group behind.
He weaved and dodged through the forest, jumping over rocks, ducking under branches and avoiding animals that didn't seem to get moving. Thomas didn't understand why the animals didnt move or why the sound around him was muffled. It made everything eerie, like something was looming ahead.
Thomas did notice that unlike himself, the group of people weren't careful about things in the forest or what was in their path. Thomas got them to trip over rocks, get knocked down by branches, stumble along the ferns, and run into the still animals, causing them to fall over. Thomas wasn't the proudest whenever an animal ended up being knocked over.
Thomas tried to do anything he could to lose these people. He ran in circles, made sudden changes in directions, and even jumped over a river with some trouble. But every time Thomas lost one of the people, another would appear in front of him. He was running out of ways to lose them. Thomas huffed as his tired legs kept running. He could feel the burn though the muscles, but he could also feel the adrenaline rush though his body.
Thomas surveyed the area, trying to find anywhere that he could hide. He wasn't sure he could keep running for much longer, he wasn't built for this. Thomas spotted a very large tree with tall branches that would be perfect to hide in. He grinned, that would be perfect! He quickly ran towards the tree, diving into the bushes and quietly going around the back. Thomas waited for the strange group to pass. Once the coast was clear, he jumped up and grabbed onto a branch, using all of the strength he could muster to pull himself up and onto the sturdy branches. He quickly covered his mouth, trying to stop his loud panting. This was killing him. He'd never done so much active running in his life.
Thomas looked down and bit his lip to stop a gasp. The group of...a cult or something along those lines, were at the bottom of the tree, looking for him. He held his breath as he watched the people before looking around. There had to be something to help him distract them.
He looked down and saw his bag still around his chest. A sudden idea popped into his mind, making Thomas grin. After a few long and nerve racking moments of carefully removing the bag, Thomas looked around below. He saw another tree that he could easily climb to where he was sitting. Thomas nodded to himself and took out his wallet, putting it on his person before closing the bag. He suddenly threw the bag, causing a quiet yet noticeable thud to ring out. He watched the bag roll down the hill, rustling the ferns and flowers. The people quickly walked in the opposite direction Thomas was in, making him give a sigh of relief before he slowly climbed to the other tree
He waited for a few minutes, listening for any quiet noises. There still wasn't any sound of wind or animals. It was really concerning. After what felt like hours, but was really 20 minutes, Thomas gained the courage to climb down the tree. He was slow and careful, trying not to make a sound as he got to the ground and looked around the area. So far, there was nothing. Not a single person from that group had come back. So that was good, it made him feel a bit safer.
Thomas slowly started to make his way in the opposite direction that the cult group had gone. Thomas moved quietly, staying hidden as he moved. He checked his cell again, still no signal. He didn't want to risk making a phone call and attracting anyone. Thomas eventually found the path back to the college, his heart beating loudly as his body relaxed a little. Finally! He could get home and get help! Thomas started to run towards the path, only for Emile to come out behind a tree and stand in front of him. Thomas tried to move out of the way but tripped on a piece of root and fell over. Emile didn't waste any time before grabbing him.
"NO!! LET ME GO!! YOU GUYS ARE INSANE!! SOMEONE!! ANYONE!! HELP ME!!"
Thomas struggled with all the strength he could, but it wasn't much. He was exhausted from the running and climbing he had to do. His limbs felt like lead as his heart raced. This couldn’t be the end! He was so close! He just had to get away from Emile! But it seemed like no matter how much he struggled, he just couldn't seem to get free from Emile's grip.
He kept struggling as much as he could, getting more desperate as he was dragged into a more open part of the forest. Thomas spotted two people drawing up what looked like a strange circle on the ground of the forest. Thomas felt the horror build inside of him. They were a cult...they were really a cult...he's dead!
"Please! Please! Don't do this! Let me go! I won't tell anyone about this! Please! I'm nothing special that could be of any use to you!" Thomas cried out, tears falling down his face. He flinched as Emile suddenly snapped his head down to look at him with wide eyes, a look of offence and disgust crossing his face.
"Oh Thomas, You truly don't understand just how special you are, You are extremely special and so very important to what we want to do! Actually you're beyond perfect for what we need! You're a linear who is actually talking and moving around without a complete stop or delay! That's amazing coming from a linear person like yourself! But don't you worry, we'll all make sure to make you see how truly special and perfect you are,"
Thomas felt his stomach churn, holding back a small whimper as thoughts ran through his head. Linear? What was that? And being able to move and talk around? What was so special about that? Couldn't everyone do that? He still didn't know what was so special about hi-
He let out a sudden yelp and groaned. He slowly lifted himself off the dirt. He must've been so caught up in his mind that he didn't realise that they had gotten to the symbol. Thomas rubbed his head and looked down at the circle. It looked like a clock? Why a clock? Weren't they called librarians? Why not a book? Or an actual summoning circle?
Thomas's eyes widened. He didn't feel anything around his arms. They had let him go! Thomas quickly stood up and ran towards the gap between the group of people. He felt himself bump into something, knocking him to the ground. He groaned, rubbing his head. What has stopped him quickly? Thomas looked around, feeling baffled that he saw nothing.
Thomas raised his foot and kicked toward the outside of the clock, only to hit nothing. He held back a whimper, trying to make it seem like a growl. He couldn't move outside the clock. These people had managed to make some sort of invisible barrier, keeping him in place.
...Fuck!
Thomas shook, his breath increasing its speed, making him slightly dizzy. He was trapped with these people who had been stalking him for so many years, noting everything he had ever done in his life. With such detail too...how did nobody notice them?! How didn't he see them?!
Thomas couldn't focus, he couldn't breath. Was his family safe? His friends? What about his school? Did they know his bank details? His medical history? His work ethic? How much did they know?!
Thomas blinked as a rip echoed through his head. The forest came back into focus, making Thomas realise that he wasn't alone in the circle anymore. A woman wearing a skirt had removed his jacket sleeve and was holding the fabric from his t-shirt sleeve.
"Hey! That's-HEY!!" Thomas hollered out as two more people had entered the circle, forcing Thomas onto his back despite the fight he tried to put up and held him down. He heard a clap above him, making him look up to see Emile walking over, a cheery smile on his face.
"We have been waiting so very long for this moment to happen, Waiting for the day we find our Lord, The one who we will worship and listen to, Someone who will be our leader, And after trial after trial, person after person, year after year, we have finally found you. Someone who is just perfect for the role,"
Thomas felt his breath get caught in his lungs, his throat closing up as sound refused to escape. They wanted him to be their Lord?! No! He couldn't do that! There's no way he could be their Lord or someone for them to look up to! He didn't want to be a part of this cult!!
Thomas stared at Emile, frantically shaking his head as tears filled down his cheeks. He did not want this! This was not what he wanted out of life! He struggled again, trying to scream and get away. He felt another person hold him down and cover his mouth. Thomas's eyes widened as he watched Emile pull out an ornately decorated dagger from his coat and kneel down next to Thomas's right arm.
"It is now time to put the mark of The Archive of Spiralear Enlightenment, This will show that we are ones with our Lord," Emile looked at Thomas with a smile that Thomas could only describe as sadistic.
Emile turned Thomas’ arm so it was on better display. Emile brought the knife down to Thomas's arm and began to cut into the skin. Thomas gave a blood curdling screech, pain filled his mind, his skin on fire around each cut. Thomas couldn't find his voice, he couldn't fight against the people holding him down.
He just lay there, not knowing how much time had passed. He just let Emile carve into his skin. He screamed and sobbed though the hand that covered his mouth, wishing for it all to stop, just wanting to go back to his dorm.
Thomas gave a shaky breath as Emile pulled the knife out of his skin. Thomas could make out that the man was happy with his work, as were the rest of the people with Emile. Thomas didn't dare try to look what was there, not wanting to see the bloody mess that was his upper arm.
"It's perfect. Now onto the next step," Thomas blankly looked at Emile. He watched as the leader put a hand on his chest. Thomas whimpered and tried to back away, he didn't want his chest to be carved into. Emile just smirked at Thomas as his hand glowed. Thomas gasped as the man's hand went through his chest like it was water! His chest even rippled a little!
Thomas blinked as Emile slowly pulled out a pocket watch from his chest, making Thomas hiss a little in pain. He looked over the pocket watch that was attached to his chest though a chain. The watch was a stunning gold color with what looked like the tips of stars sticking through the centre part of a lighter gold colour. There were small gems between the star points, in the colours of red, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple. The centerpiece was a circle that looked to be made of glass that had a few cracks on it. The inside was still visible showing many gears and four arms that were around a little rectangle with roman numerals.
Thomas kept looking at the clock over and over again, trying to figure out what it meant and how it was in his chest. Before Thomas could even voice any of his questions, Emile spoke once again.
"Looks like this clock is slightly cracked! Doesn't that show you how special you are?" Emile beamed at Thomas. He turned and looked at the last two librarians. "Librarians, come here and help me break the watch so that time will never be able to take our Lord,"
Thomas whimpered as he saw the last two people walk over and kneel down next to Emile. Thomas gave a silent scream as the three cult members started to break the watch with rocks. Pain filled his body and his vision kaleidoscoped. This was so much pain. It felt like he was being ripped apart, he couldn't even think. Emiles voice echoed through his mind.
"Time can be so cruel to take away some of the most important knowledge, too soon for the eyes to see. So with this last task being done, time will never be cruel to take our Lord away from us. Our Lord will be safe forever and will one day lead us into the perfect timeline, in the perfect universe, where knowledge is safe and timeless. All of us will be under the rule of our Lord as he helps us build up our world, making sure the most important things stay safe, where the knowledge will be endless and will never leave no matter how much time tries to pass through it.
"Nothing will ever take us away, no matter how hard it tries. We are making sure our Lord is safe so that when the chance comes, he will keep us safe under his rule. Everything will be perfect! Our world will be perfect! Our knowledge, our acts, our structures will all be perfect with nothing ever stopping us!"
It was like Thomas was under water. He could hear every word that Emile said, but it was muffled. More tears glided down Thomas's face. The watch was completely destroyed, barely holding onto the chain it was connected to. His whole body was so, so numb from all the trauma that had been forced upon it.
Emile made a motion, causing the other two people to stop. "Perfect, It is now time for the final step for our Lord to be complete. Librarians turn him around and position yourselves correctly,"
Thomas flinched as the people turned him over. He felt the hands vanish as he hit the ground face first, groaning. He really didn't want a broken nose on top of every other injury. He got on his hands and knees, lifting his head to watch what was happening. The people stood around the circle with their hands on the ground as they said, "May the connection be broken," over and over again. Thomas couldn't focus. There was a sharp pain on his knees. On his palms. He looked down. The circle was on fire.
He yelped and quickly tried to get up, but he failed. He fell right back down, his body feeling weak and exhausted from all the pain, chasing, and blood loss from his arm. Thomas screamed out as a loud boom rang out. Everything felt like a blur. His ears rang and his vision became distorted. The ground below him suddenly disappeared into nothing, plunging him down into nothing below.
Thomas tried to grab onto anything to stop himself from falling, but he found that he couldn't move or grab onto anything at all. He heard himself give out a muffled scream as he watched the circle above begin to close at a rapid pace. No matter what he tried, he couldn't do anything to stop his descent. He plunged deeper into what seemed like an endless void, the last thing he saw was Emile staring down at him as the circle closed.

An example is that Thomas is a quick thinker, coming from the Observant and unpredictability, everything blends together to make Thomas. In the beginning, his more neutral and negative traits are not so obvious, but time always shows a person's flaws.

Past Timeline:
Thomas Sanders was born to a simple family within Florida, America on the day April 29. He was the youngest of four brothers with very loving and supportive parents. He had always had a passion for acting and science since he was a young child and actively participated in both as he grew older.
At the age of 23, Thomas had started a YouTube channel and Vine, creating little videos for fun and to make others laugh while he studied Engineering at a prestigious college, improving his abilities with the help of Engineering Professor Remus Freaking Something. He soon created a series known as Sanders Sides that explored and discussed problems that someone could go though in their life whether outside problems or mental problems and gave solutions to how to solve them.
Everything was going well, till the 31st of the fifth month of Thomas's 26th year of existence.
Miscellaneous:
This list will expand as the story unfolds dear Readers and Travellers.
The Authors would like to welcome you to the Sanders Multiverse. A place between worlds, between dimensions, a place that lives that might never have crossed, could meet and befriend one another. The Multiverse has a galaxy look to it, a reference to the ever changing to the ever expanding universes that are created every day. Who knows Readers and Travellers, your own ideas might actually be within the Multiverse.
Islands of the Multiverse
Inside of the Multiverse, there is an endless galaxy filled with many floating islands, stars, and rainbow nebulas. Each of these things provides a purpose in the Multiverse that benefits it. The rainbow nebula is what allows the Alternative Universes to exist inside of the Multiverse. The stars are what provide the light inside the Multiverse, which in turn also fights off the darkness of the forgotten, distorted, and broken timelines just below the islands.
The islands themselves also have many interesting features about them that allow them to live inside the Multiverse. The first being that each island has roots connecting to roots of other islands as a way to travel between each other but also keep eachother far enough apart to not affect one another as they orbit amongst the stars. Another important thing about the islands is that the way the island presents itself depends on the universe within it. From native plants, to buildings, to the atmosphere around it, allowing any creature on the island to breathe. Every island must have it's own vegetation to be able to have the ability to grow Stargem Fruits, as they are very important to have the ability to travel the Multiverse. Not every island needs to have a water source to keep the vegetation alive, as the universe inside of the island and its crystal is what keeps the islands thriving. Each island has its own gravitational pull that relates to the universe inside. It affects how heavy the creatures feel as they walk along the island's surface, giving interesting variety throughout the Multiverse.
Lastly, under each and every island has a crystal that grows into the foundation of the island and gives out a light around it, which in turn also powers the island, keeping it afloat. This is helpful in locating where the island is. The crystals also allow entry to the Alternate Universe inside of the island, whether that entrance is in a building, down a hole, or even within a plant. Another helpful feature of the crystals is that based on what colour they are, it shows what the universe within it is like. The colors and their meanings are:
Red: Violent
Orange: Fanciful
Yellow: Unfazed
Green: Nature
Blue: Despair
Purple: Fearful
Pink: Joyful
White: Knowledgeable
Black: Mysterious
Root System
Another feature that is below the islands is the roots that keep the vegetation in place, though there is more to these roots than what it seems. The roots will find a way to grow out of the foundation of the island they are in and will connect to the closest thing possible around them, which is commonly the roots of another island which creates a strong bond between the roots. These roots will do anything to be able to grab onto something else, even mouthing other objects if needed.
While being the roots of vegetation, they form quite a strong and sturdy bridge dispute being narrow at the same time. The roots are about 5 meters wide in size and can hold up to about 800,000 tons. It's the perfect form of transportation between islands without abilities, but it is very easy to fall off the bridge into the void below the islands if not careful. The roots do not have their own gravitational pull as they are not part of any foundation of land or have a connection to a crystal. Although they do carry over the atmosphere of the closet onto the next.
Core Universe
The Core Universe is the most important universe and timeline within the Multiverse as it is essentially the "Cannon Universe," a universe you all know well. This universe allows the island to exist and function properly, creating the Multiverse. The way the Core universe is physically represented within the Sanders Multiverse is by the rainbow nebulas that travel around the Multiverse.
While the Core universe is what keeps the islands existing, it is unreachable itself, meaning that no one can enter or mess with it. Even so, the nebula still needs a protector to make sure nothing happens to it and that protector is none other than Thomas Sanders. Thomas is meant to protect and watch over this nebula to make sure nothing happens to it, whether it's something trying to enter it or destroy it.
The Void Below
While the multiverse is an endless galaxy, the islands and their universes unfortunately are not. Therefore, they always have a limit. Within the Multiverse, there is a point where islands no longer dwell. This area is called The Void Below, there being nothing except for the forgotten and damaged timelines and universes that are broken into nothing.
Due to there being no islands within the void, there is no atmosphere as there is no life within the darkness. This, in turn, makes the void a very dangerous place, as creatures will not be able to breathe. These timelines still have their own gravitational pull and just like the islands some are stronger than others, meaning that if a creature were to fall in the void not only would they be slowly suffocating, they would also be slowly turned into dust from the pulverising nature of the gravitational pull. Luckily, anyone who 'perishes' within the void will wake up within their own world with no memory of what happened to them with only scars left behind to show what happened to them.
Stargem Fruit
While the Multiverse holds many kinds of vegetation, there is one special fruit that grows inside the Multiverse that is very special. This fruit is called The Stargem fruit. The Stargem fruit is special because it is a berry that naturally grows in a pair within the Multiverse on a vine like stem that is connected to a branch. The presentation of the Stargem is also special as it presents in the shape of a star shaped gem similar to a starbit from Super Mario Galaxy.
The Stargem is a white colour that reflects the light when it hits the friut, giving off a rainbow reflection around the fruit. While it may look like a gem, the Stargem fruit is actually rather soft and edible, similar to a peach. The Stargem fruit tastes sweet, similar to a honey cinnamon flavour. The Stargem fruit only grows inside the Multiverse because it is what prevents and fights off Multiverse Sickness before its symptoms take over. Though if a creature were to already have Multiverse sickness, then the Stargem fruit will help the body heal while fighting off the symptoms.
Multiverse Sickness
Although as lovely as it would seem to be inside the Multiverse with everything that is lovely, there must always be a price. This price is called Multiverse Sickness. Creatures that dwell within the dimensions are never mentioned to leave their universe. Whenever a creature enters the Multiverse, they would fall ill as the Multiverse is much different than the world they know. Multiverse Sickness can be compared to altitude sickness due to the Multiverse having a different pressure than within dimensions.
Multiverse Sickness would take up to 30 minutes to an hour for the symptoms to take effect on the creature, so it is very important to look out for them before they fully take effect. The symptoms known are:
Nausea
Hissing or ringing in the ear
Double vision
Sweaty or clammy skin
Dizzy, with it either being the room is spinning or passing out due to the motion
Chest pain
Headaches and Migraines
Trouble breathing
And confusion
The symptoms are important as Multiverse Sickness is more likely to affect the elderly and young as they have frail bodies that will not easily fight the sickness as it takes effect.
Lastly, Multiverse Sickness will take up to a week to heal from as the symptoms can be very strong, but the symptoms can also be exacerbated if the creature stays within the Multiverse while still ill. If the creature would like to avoid Multiverse Sickness, then the creature must eat a Stargem fruit before the symptoms take effect so that they will become immune to it during that visit. Though if a creature were to eat a Stargem fruit while ill with Multiverse Sickness, then they would be able to heal faster.
That is all for now. The Authors hope that you understand what was said and that you enjoy the new information.
The Authors of this tale wanted to show you something important that will show much later in the tale but will be good to know. The language Knovulein and the number system of Knovulent. It is a very important part of the tale and has been hard worked to make sure it is well.
This language and number system is known throughout an Alternate Universe as it is an importance to this tale but many other places in this Alternate Universe have their very own language as well. This is the main one the authors would like to focus on. This language was inspired from the language Gallifreyan from Doctor Who.
The Authors are working hard to make sure every feature of this tale is well and might be able to get something big out soon but that's for the authors to know.
Greetings once again Travellers and Readers. The artist wanted to make this small post to show off the banner of this tale. What is happening is for you to find out another time.
