Racking her mind, attempting to figure it out. “Anyways, if you’re that eager for a mission, I could have you join one of the Time Patrollers for a Raid Mission. Hirudegarn was visited by that ska-…..I mean, Towa.”

        “a raid mission, huh? i ain’t done one-a those ‘fore.” she’s heard of them, seen people zoom off to do them but never participated in one. “a’right i’m in! but uh, just one thing, little kai … what the hell is a hiroodeegarn??” 

Good thing she didn’t ask about what I was going to call Towa....

“Well, yeah. When you have a bird that lays an entire universe, anything is possible.” Shrugging afterwards.

Chronoa allowed him to think this was going to work. Just as soon as his fist was close enough, Chronoa snapped her fingers and stopped time in it’s place.

After that, she took 3 steps to the left, and 2 steps back. Then snapping her fingers again, Chronoa allowed time to continue.

He didn’t even notice any change. He was nearly there to hitting her when suddenly she snapped and she was gone. A Vanish Step? He couldn’t slow down or turn around his momentum and whiffed hard.

“W-What the–?! What was that? Magic? Or speed?!” He looked over to see her standing literally inches away from him.

Chronoa chuckled as Shallot made a fool of himself. She loved seeing them do this, to a point where it felt like an addiction. But not really.

“What? You’re serious? Alright, then! Don’t say I didn’t warn ya, I’m not going to go easy on ya. Hraahh!” 

He charges forward to swing a punch right at the short Kai.
