Tim: 1B: ironically, he has the straightest hair of all the Robins despite being the least straight himself

Duke: 4C: the coils be coiling

Damian: 1C: Slightly more wave than his dad but overall pretty straight; it holds texture really well

Tim: Yeah, I need a break. I’m going out to get some fresh air.

Jason: Get some for me while you’re at it.

Tim: Yeah, right. Your poor lungs wouldn’t even know what to do with it.

I mean, look at him. He's falling to his death, and he looks relieved. He even goes as far as to call it "not a bad day."

Beyond that, if he wanted to live, then Tim could have easily called for Superboy–he was already in Gotham at that point! But he didn't. Not because he knew that Dick was coming but because he just didn't care if anyone caught him.

One must also understand that comics is a medium that is designed to allow for multiple different interpretations of the same characters. It’s not like movies/books/TV where canon is much more clear cut. Just look at how much Batman has changed as a character since Adam West played him in the 60s! So while I totally get it’s important to stay true to the source material, and there are definitely core traits that should be consistent across the board, I find myself growing tired of seeing all the demonization of fanon as a whole on social media (especially TikTok). It feels unnecessary and, a lot of times, pretentious. Again, unless you’re referring to those who have never touched a comic in their life and completely ignore canon altogether – those critiques are valid and I welcome them.

Honestly, I like a good blend: one that’s mostly canon-compliant but has space for a few fanon concepts. And considering the last canon issue of Batman showed him deliberately re-traumatizing Barbara by injecting her with a paralytic, you can pry my WFA-coded Good Parent Bruce Wayne out of my cold, dead hands.

HOWEVER that’s not to say the line between dad/big brother was never blurred for them. Honestly, I like comparing them to Lilo and Nani: they’re siblings, but there is also a level of parental responsibility there. Like, Damian is Dick’s baby, but he will 100% beat his ass if necessary.
