I'm not sure if you've answered this before but who was your first anime crush? Do you still like them?

My first and biggest anime crush is Akashi Seijuro from Kuroko no Basuke. Even though I'm not that interested in KnB right now in comparison to other fandoms, I still do love Akashi a lot.

Who's your favorite character(s), story (arcs), and faction in HSR! I'd love to hear your thoughts about the game.

This game is SO LONG, LMAO. I'm the type to watch the gameplay instead of playing most of the time. It took months to watch through the Trailblaze Missions only, let alone all other missions… But I love it a lot! There definitely are some dialogues and scenes that I find rather boring, but the story and characters are truly amazing. Animation and OSTs are so beautiful too!

Dan Heng and Phainon are my main favorites, which is not surprising at all given my favs from other fandoms. I mean, it's only me or they give Megumi and Yuta (JJK) vibes? I also adore the main trio (again, they remind me of JJK main trio a lot). Since I watch HSR instead of playing, I watch it with male!MC (Caleus), and he's so adorable too! As for my other favs, I love Anaxa, and I am slowly warming up to Sunday and Blade after the Planarcadia arc. My favorite female characters are Castorice, Hyacine, Firefly, and March 7!

My favorite arcs are Lofu and Amphoreus. Honestly, Planarcadia is VERY interesting too. It has the potential to become my favorite arc for sure, so I'm looking forward to the updates!

I don't have any favorite factions, but if I had to choose, I'd say the Nameless? I love their silly crew!

Do you have any self inserts for this fandom?

I don't have any well-thought-out HSR self-inserts yet. But once I start making more exchanges or receiving more headcanons for this fandom, I think I will be able to come up with something!

YESSS!!! Honestly, I'm intrigued! I don't have any strong opinions about him yet, since I am curious about his personality more than his design. Looking forward to his main story! He has the potential to become my fav, since him being a werewolf means the potential of my favorite dynamic, or doesn't get my interest at all.

♡ As already mentioned, you and Jade meet for the first time when Floyd drags you into the sightseeing tour around the campus. Initially, he finds you just an interesting person, who makes his life a little more entertaining. Later on, Jade grows into one of your closest friends. And then, before he even realizes it, he gets a massive crush on you.

♡ Jade's way of courting is observing you from a distance, trying to figure out if he has a chance or not. Even if he doesn't look like this, he's very cautious. More and more often this serious look appears on his face, as if he's analyzing something deep inside himself. He is the type to stare at you when he thinks you aren't looking. An embodiment of painful yearning for a best friend.

♡ Even though Jade keeps hanging out with you as your friend, and he's still pretty good at hiding his true feelings, it's pretty obvious to others. Not for you, though, because, again, Jade is cautious. He doesn't want to reveal his feelings if he knows that he has no chance. As for dates, he'd gladly take you on walks around the campus, or make you some tea with tofu cheesecake. The two of you can observe your classmates spilling tea about them. Though, all this looks more like friendly hangouts.

I was inspired by someone else's ask and I realized we've talked about our TWST self-inserts interacting, but never our Blue Lock self-inserts! I've been missing Blue Lock lately, hehe. For the purpose of these musings, I'll go with Hakuho High manager + the backstory you came up with for my YLIF (ReAl manager)!

→ Since you would be a manager for the Blue Lock crew from the start and I wouldn't get introduced until the NEL, perhaps you'd end up showing me the ropes! Giving a tour of the facility, introducing me to some of the Blue Lock boys, etc. Ah, I might still get lost in the facility for the first few weeks, though.

→ slow to open up x immediately friendly (but we would have quite a few shared hobbies to bond over, thankfully!)

→ There is also a learning opportunity from me to you, considering I had the opportunity to manage a professional and well-known team. The insights could be very helpful if you continue on with managerial duties outside of Blue Lock!

→ Given the nature of being assistants/managers, we would have close contact with Ego and Anri. Although I think I could get along with Ego for the most part, I don't agree with all of his ideas and would critique them openly. I can imagine you and Anri trying to play peacemaker if any actual arguments arise. Or perhaps, if it is too common an occurrence, you both sigh and leave us to bicker, lol.

↳ i thought we could somehow get trapped working for ego jinpachi, that maniac, and focus on having fun and helping all the players improve instead of getting swept up in... whatever insane and wild ideas and ideologies ego comes up with like every week. (just take isagi and stop corrupting the poor kids, ego.)

↳ ego noticed your immense potential in psychology, you had an almost superhuman intuition when it came to humans' inner worlds, so he wanted to train you to become a manager. he wasn't as serious about it as he was about the strikers in blue lock, but he was still intrigued. you took me with yourself to the interview at blue lock's building because it was so suspicious and far away from civilization. also, i knew more about football while you didn't really know much (who cares about a bunch of guys chasing a ball amirite), and i'd told you i had a lot of doubts about this initiative.

↳ i just sat near you quietly during your talk with ego, but once it was over, he said something about me just glaring at him the whole time, so i, with all due respect, which was none, told him my thoughts on how harmful this is for the poor three whole hundred kids they'd imprisoned. after a brief debate, he decided to take me in as a strategist (and for entertainment) as well, because he likes torturing people (and because he saw some potential in me too). so we started working (being trained by ego, mostly) there together.

↳ ego makes me run errands a lot because there is friction between us (which he enjoys btw), as i oppose him more than anyone else. you are lovely though, even when you disagree with him, no one can really get mad at you, so there is a clear distinction between how he treats you and me (some call you the princess of blue lock).

↳ you see through the complex psychological situations these students find themselves in and help ego with the parts he might miss or not understand as well because he's too focused on certain things. even for the things he doesn't miss, he lets you make the first deductions because he's trying to train you. you also have to learn all about football, which... you don't think is as fun. ("there is no way offside is a real rule," you say, after the fifth person you asked fails at telling you anything comprehensible.)

↳ he noticed my observant nature and found my thought process intriguing, that's why he wanted to give me a chance too (or so he says, we suspect it was mostly because of the entertainment factor). the first time we talked, he asked me a few things about the current national team, where i think they were lacking and all, and liked the answers i gave.

↳ we attend matches together and i would care more about them than you at first. i don't think either of us would be loud, but you start getting more invested as time goes on and at one point, when the players you like the most are playing, yell out "REFEREE!" loudly and i spend the rest of the match laughing.

With time, Idia accepts his feelings and takes the position of a friend who pines after you from afar. Your relationship doesn't change at all. It still is good old Idia who invites you to play games and watch anime. Just his gaze lingers on you a little longer, his pale cheeks seem quite rosy, and at times he looks like he is extremely flustered without reason. Meanwhile, Ortho plays your wingman and does his best to get you two together. Who knows, maybe with his help you will find out about your best friend's crush on you eventually!

I really wanna know about any self-insert thoughts/self-ship thoughts you have for MHA! Like, what quirk (if any) your self-insert has, if she goes to U.A., who her friends are… just all of it!

For me, my self-insert has a quirk called Garden. They can create plants from their body by using the sugar, carbon, and water in their body. The one major drawback is that they have to have actually seen the plant before they can make it, and it has to be in person. So, if they want to create a rose for example, they need to have seen a rose in person. They also need to eat a lot of sugar and drink a lot of water so that their body has enough to create anything, kind of like Momo or Sato.

I have two versions of them that I use depending on my mood. One is the LoV version where they’re a member of the League. I ship them with Shigaraki in this scenario. The second is if I want them as a hero. They’re a teacher at U.A., and they do hero work on the side. They’re also a recent U.A. graduate, having graduated two years ago as one of their year’s big 3. I ship them with Hawks in this version. They’re 20 in both versions.

Like I said, I really wanna know more about your self-insert thoughts so I can think about how our si’s would get along!

Actually, I don't see you as a villain either. BUT!!! I think that you fit into the "found family" atmosphere of LOV the most, while UA and the flashy world of heroes might be a bit overwhelming to you. So while I was writing your mini-ylif, I imagined you as a kind of civilian who hangs out with LOV somehow, LOL. You know, like in Obey me, where you are not a demon, but somehow end up in their chaotic crew. The "I'm a side character but the main villains of this world are obsessed with me" type of story suits you perfectly, friend. ✧ദ്ദി( ˶^ᗜ^˶ )

Now about my self-inserts!

I'm quite ashamed to admit it, but I don't actually have any well-thought-out self-insert for MHA. ૮꒰ྀི⊃⸝ ⸝ ⸝⊂꒱ྀིა I started watching it years ago, and since then my preferences drastically changed, so all my SI ideas from that time obviously don't work anymore for me. Recently I've watched the final seasons and received some YLIFs, so I have some thoughts that I will share with you, but my MHA SI ideas are still vague. Let's go!

My main favorites from MHA are Shoto, Tamaki, and Izuku. Given how many matchups with Shoto I received, he slowly becomes the main ship for my SI, but I also do adore Tamaki and Izuku a lot, so I often ship her with them too!

She is a student in 1-A class of UA! As for her quirk, I have two ideas. The first one is healing ability (since we have only one Recovery Girl, I think someone with healing ability would be a great help!), so she often helps Recovery Girl and learns a lot from her. The second one is inspired by the "Harmony" movie and a bit of my JJK SI. This quirk allows my SI to absorb fear, pain, and negative emotions from anyone that she comes in contact with. I want to rewatch MHA one day to refresh my memory and get more ideas for my self-insert!

As for her friends, I genuinely can see her getting along with everyone from UA, not only with some of her classmates. Especially with Izuku's squad and with the big three!

🎁 - My Hero Academia (I finally got around to watching it, so it's been on my mind for a few weeks now lol)

Also, as a side note: I'm imagining this as an aged-up au with the main cast, so you're all adults/pro heroes in this scenario!

Affiliation - U.A. High School! I think that you went to U.A. in high school, and after you graduated, you became a teacher there. I can see you teaching either the hero course or general studies. You're a very kind and welcoming teacher, and your students adore you. You're also a pro hero of course, so when you're not at school, you're helping out the different agencies with hero work.

Best Friend - Ochaco Uraraka! I think the two of you would get along so well. You were in class 1-A with the rest of the main cast, so you and Ochako became fast friends. She confides in you about her home life and her dreams of being a hero, as well as the insecurities she sometimes faces about being weak. In return, she also listens to you whenever you have something you wanna talk about.

Lover - Shoto Todoroki! The two of you definitely crushed on each other all throughout high school, but you didn't get together until after graduation. Todoroki wanted to confess, but he didn't want to impact his or your studies, so he waited. After graduation, he tells you about his feelings and the two of you start dating. As pro heroes, it can be a struggle to maintain a proper relationship, but the two of you make it work thanks to strong communication and lots of planning in advance for date nights.

Crushing on you - Denki Kaminari! He thinks you're so cute, and he really likes how kind you are. He developed his crush on you in high school, but it didn't really go anywhere. He knew deep down he never had much of a chance with you, and he was fine with that. Denki is someone who values friendship regardless, so as long as he got to be your friend, he's happy!

Pines after you - Izuku Midoriya! At first he mistakes his pining for admiration. He thinks you're so cool, and he's another person who appreciates how kind-hearted you are. Izuku is someone who can find strength in anyone, and that's the strength he found in you. After a while, he does register the fact that he has a crush on you, but (like Denki) he's someone who values friendship more than anything else. He also figured out that you and Todoroki had feelings for each other, which is why he never confessed. Now, the two of you are coworkers at U.A.

Familial Figure - Eri! This girl loves you so dearly! She latches onto you pretty much the moment she meets you. She thinks you're amazing, and she looks up to you like a mother or older sister figure. When she attends U.A. as a high schooler, she makes sure to come and talk to you whenever she can, asking you for advice and updating you on her life.

Sibling Figure - Nejire Hado! She thinks you are so cute! I can see her taking a liking to you immediately, finding yoy interesting. She definitely becomes an older sister figure to you. I can see her getting you in with Ryukyu like she does with Ochaco and Tsuyu, so the four of you end up working together for a while!

Closest Friend - Tooru Hagakure! She is so bubbly and full of cheer, so I can see her immediately coming up to you and asking to be friends. She loves going shopping with you and talking about whatever comes to mind. There's never a dull moment with Tooru! Sometimes when she's not busy with work, she'll randomly pop in to U.A. just to say hi to you. It's really cute of her.

Meanwhile, if you put aside all the mess they cause, the League of Villains is just a group of outcasts who gather at the bar and play video games. They cherish one another without trying to appear boastful or self-important. It took not much time before you warmed up to them.

♡ Tamaki Amajiki is your childhood best friend, who always had a massive crush on you. Unfortunately, he was too shy to reveal his feelings, afraid of rejection, so he missed his chance as soon as you two parted ways. Both of you are shy and socially awkward, yet find comfort in each other's presence. Tamaki feels that you are his kindred spirit. He believes he can confide in you about any issue, and you will understand him. The two of you often sit in each other's homes, talking, watching movies, playing games, or just enjoying comfortable silence. Tamaki secretly hoped that you would also enroll in the U.A. with him. His anger issues seemingly relieve whenever you are around; your presence is just so soothing and comforting. Tomura falls for you because of your quiet kindness and support—something he craves so much in his dark life. In the end, you manage to protect Tomura, and you two get your happily ever after, even after many struggles and fights.

♡ Himiko Toga considers you her closest friend, but also has a huge crush on you! You are just so kind, and treat her without any judgement or disgust! Himiko follows you around and protects you from any danger all the time. As already mentioned, it's all because you actually tried to understand her, without forcing her to become a "normal girl". Since then, you have become her favorite person! Over time, this affection transforms into closer familial bonds, and Toga begins to see you as her sibling figure, a family she always wished she had.

♡ Twice considers you his younger sibling. Even though his talkative side might be quite overwhelming to you, he genuinely cares for you and protects you. It's also good because Jin is able to make conversations if you don't know what to say, and support you in some social interactions. He appreciates all your care for the League of Villains' members. Whenever you bake something for them, or listen to them, or bring more normality to their life, Twice finds more and more reasons why he admires you so much. Actually, you are the reason why he used his quirk again, overcoming his past trauma to save you. He's fond of how attentive you are when you listen to him, and you consistently make a point to be supportive. That's why Twice works hardest to give you the same.

♡ Dabi is another older brother of yours! At first, the two of you rarely interacted, keeping the distance. Just because neither you nor Dabi are typically those who readily form friendships or trust strangers. As time passed, your bonds grew stronger, and you two started putting more trust in one another. Dabi shared with you his heartbreaking past, while you relied on him in your issues and turmoils. Even though he doesn't seem so, Dabi is supportive and protective in his own way. He would burn everything for you, and fully justifies the title of your older brother figure.

♡ Spinner is your closest friend and favorite game buddy. He also is a writer too! Tomura, Spinner, and you often enjoy playing games together. The two of you immediately click, bonding over shared interests. The fact that Spinner looks more like an animal than a human helps you feel more relaxed around him as well. Despite his initial grumpiness, Spinner is easy to converse with. It didn't take long before Spinner shared the details of his past with you. He was glad that you saw him as a close friend, not a disgusting heteromorph.

These interactions with our TKDB self insert popped up in my brain while I wrote for our trade!!!

My self insert would probably ask your self insert if she could pick her up, if granted permission my self insert will pick yours up and walk a way then place your self insert down. (I have done this with my irl friends before).

My self insert would also ask if she could braid your self insert hair.

I can also imagine them cooking together, there probably would be slight chaos but not there's flour everywhere type of chaos.

Also, including the club/bar mission that you wrote about during your fish ask game. I imagine like our self inserts doing an undercover at a ball mission (maybe the mission only has room for our self inserts and MC for some chaos).

♡ AHH!!! I love these headcanons! All ideas are SO CUTE!!! LMAO, my friends enjoy carrying me around because I'm very light, so I can easily imagine it. And the ball mission! It sounds so cool! We already had a masquerade event with Frostheim, but it would be fun to have the big ball in Darkwick! They already have a festival, so the ball sounds like a nice school event too.
