It's so hard to be consistently happy. Like, I want to be. I feel like I could be. I do have happy times now, which is a step from where I used to be. But right when it seems as though life is getting good and could stay that way, somehow I always end up back in this dark place for no apparent reason, and it fucking sucks because I feel like I'm letting so many people down when all they've tried to do is lift me up. And it's painful getting to experience these brief times of happiness, just to have it snatched away again, to let me plunge into the icy cold waters that I've desperately tried to climb out of for years and years.

I'm high as fuck but I think I just communicated with The Other Side™
