For reference, the Official Charts also provide charts for audio streams, sales, downloads, purchases of physical copies, purchases of vinyl copies, etc.

This is how ‘Just Hold On’ performed:

Audio Streaming: #25

Sales: #2 (includes both digital and physical)

Downloads: #2

Physical: not charting

Comparatively, this is how ‘Rockabye’ (Clean Bandit) and ‘When Christmas Comes Around’ (Matt Terry) performed:

Audio Streaming: #1 (Rockabye), #50 (WCCA)

Sales: #4 (Rockabye), #1 (WCCA)

Downloads: #4 (Rockabye), #1 (WCCA)

Physical: #2 (Rockabye), not charting (WCCA)

The main differences in top 3 are due to the following:

JHO and WCCA are digital singles and would not have the support of physical sales (given that physical sales would only add to overall sales) in the charts. Rockabye is a both digital and physical single.

WCCA beat JHO on sales and downloads, but JHO was much higher up in the audio streaming charts.

In other words, we can’t be complacent. We have to continue buying and streaming even MORE than we did this past week.

It’s gonna be a close race for the Christmas #1, but I believe we can do it.
