Here's some excellent and exciting news: Jack has just been cast in a major new Paramount+ production, The Serial Killer's Wife alongside Annabel Scholey and Luke Treadaway.

Here is a short synopsis from Deadline:

Paramount+ is making a UK TV drama about a woman whose butter-wouldn’t-melt husband is arrested for the murder of his former assistant, while the streamer has entered production on French series The Signal.

Set in an idyllic English town, Beth Fairchild (Scholey: The Split) has prepared a surprise birthday party for her husband Tom (Farthing: Rain Dogs). With most of the village present as Tom is the beloved local doctor, Beth’s world is turned upside down when the party is interrupted by the police and Tom is arrested for murder. Beth believes her husband has been wrongly accused but she soon makes some shocking discoveries that cast doubt on his innocence, and she confides her worries in Adam (Treadaway), Tom’s best friend from childhood.

Produced by Clapperboard Studios and BlackBox Multimedia, The Serial Killer’s Wife sees Andy Morgan and Mike Benson (Clapperboard) serve as EP on the series, alongside Chiara Cardoso and Giuliano Papadia (BlackBox Multimedia). Laura Way is the director with Jonathan Phillips serving as the producer. Suzanne Cowie and Ben Morris are writers.

We had two actors. We had Mark Hamill, and we also had a picture double named Max. And we shot both on set, and we had also shot Max previously with all of the cast. Casting him was a whole thing too because we had to work with Sarah Finn [the show’s casting director] and say “Look, we want to find somebody who physically resembles what Mark looked like right after Return of the Jedi.”
