i am so tired of poc being belittled, ignored, or met with argument whenever racism is brought up in the liomogai community. whenever advice on it or calling it out is brought up. how dare poc call out things, how dare poc not be perfectly toned and kind to others after a lifetime of being a minority. this community is so white dominated and sometimes it feels like many genuinely don't want that to change and instead just want to reblog a few posts for "see im not racist" points
im so tired of seeing white people continue to respond and push that they have more authority over us poc, some not even subtlety or trying to hide it anymore - βοΈ
Probably hitting the wasps nest with this, but the tme/tma binary and trf-aligned ideology has no place in the LIOMOQAI community and it is our job as a community to call out trf rhetoric when we see it.
The idea that trans men&mascs hold systemic power over trans women&fems is complete horseshit, the idea that transmisogyny is never violently wielded against trans men&mascs, enben, and intersex individuals is also horseshit. (Ask me how I know as a fat femme with PCOS)
TME/TMA is an intersexist, exorsexist and overwhelmingly white binary that treats all trans people as fitting into a strict binary of perisex white binary trans women and perisex white binary trans man, with no nuance for those who are both, neither, or a different thing entirely. It does not account for the lived experiences of trans POC (especially Black trans people) and intersex people.
