Ok so theory time. Its probably really badly written and confusing and far-fetched, but i wanted to put this somewhere.

We now know that what we thought were the names of the Ascians are actually titles. Emet-Selch’s real name is Hades. This could just be a cheeky FF reference, but two of Hades’ attacks show his link with the mythology he’s taken from :

Polydegmon is a surname of Hades, so that makes sense. Titanomachy however, is less related to Hades than it is related to Greek Mythology in general. Put a pin in that.
