As an American you would say that, they’re a staple in the UK. The puppy dog eyes won’t work on me, nope not this time, I’m not falling for it. I won’t even look at you. I already told her to send a shit load, we’re going to be swimming in jaffa cakes. That’s easy, we just have to distract them and one of us grabs the blankets, we got this.

if you want to be technical about it, then sure. but i dunno. i haven’t seen a single pillow fight yet or even had anyone offer to braid my hair & paint my nails. can it really be a sleepover if not even a single cliche has been met, ya know ? you’re getting all possessive over a chocolate & orange combo ? my dude, why ? you brits are built different, i think. because that sounds fucking horrific. good for you, though. less competition for your snacks !

Then lets have a pillow fight, braid each other’s hair and paint our nails. Afterwards we could make prank phone calls and talk about our crushes. Because they are a delegacy in the UK, a staple in every family home. Just wait until the Brits in the house start getting possessive over the tea and kettle. You would think that, but people have already started eating them.

𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫 the brunette turned around to see her favorite Brit standing in front of her.       ❛  Oh my god, Tom! When did you get here, buddy?  ❜  pulling him in close for a hug. ❛  You’re a sight for sore eyes. I was beginning to worry I wasn’t gonna see you again…. ❜  she teased him playfully. 

Tom grinned as soon as Zendaya noticed it was him, happily reciprocating the hug. His arms wrapped tightly around her slim figure as the two friends embraced. “I literally only got here a few days ago, I’ve mainly been stuck in my room unpacking.” Tom let go of her, the grin still plastered across his face, “as if you could ever get rid of me that easily.”

“is this finally the time for.. a blanket fort war? just kidding, i mean that sounds so awesome, i loved making blanket forts with my brother when we were younger so count me in if it happens here! hold on, you already called dibs on the jaffa cakes?! then considers the snickers bars all mine but we can definitely trade if you are willing to.“

No, I like your thinking here, we could have two rival groups and make it a competition. Then we go to war and the group who’s fort is left standing wins. I’m collecting together people to make this happen, so I’ll let you know when it happens. I will always call dibs on the jaffa cakes, but for you I might be willing to trade and share.

      “’m takin’ it as a whole goin’ out of your comfort zone and livin’ with a bunch of people, when you’re no longer used to it, yeah?” he said, a bit of a shrug leaving his shoulders. “guess it’s gonna have to be that thing where ya gotta wait to see if it’s beneficial.” he says. “eh, i’ll figure out what’s good at some point, ‘m sure.”

“I thought it would just be like living with my brothers and parents, I’m used to a full house. But honestly, this is just so different, it’s on a whole other level.” Tom definitely agreed with the other male, this was definitely an experience pushing them out of their comfort zone. “I think it’s not so much what’s good to do around here, but more the people you can hang out with, there’s some amazing people here who already are making it so much fun for me.”

Exactly! We just ordered it all from amazon, fast delivery! No he did not, how rude! I agree on blaming Niall, no one should ever take advantage of another’s jaffa cakes, that’s sacred ground! 

Super fast delivery, they leave it on your doorstep before you’ve even checked out. Right?! I thought we were friends, I’ve never felt betrayal like it. Luckily there are plenty of other snacks in the house, plus he has one of those faces where you just can’t stay mad at him.

i haven’t had roommates that wasn’t my sister…in ever actually. i’m excited to be on my own and be near the beach. new york is nice, but i am in love with the coast line. plus now i finally have some time for myself. i’m sabrina, by the way.

As someone who grew up with four brothers I’m kinda used to sharing rooms and living with a lot of people. Sometimes it does a soul good to get away from the busy city, it’s a good place to relax and recharge, which I guess is why most of us are here. It’s nice to meet you Sabrina, I’m Tom and welcome to our room.

Oh of course.. How else would one deal with the merely absurdity of living with so many people? Not that I’m complaining.. Just gonna take some time to get used to, that is all. As long as I can have coffee and cheesecake, then count me all in. — Awh man, Jaffa Cakes remind me of when I was a kid and went to visit the fam in England. So please just let me know man, whatever I gotta do to get at least one.. and I’ll so do it.

It is a little weird, but I have three brothers so I’m used to a full house, just not quite this full. I’m sure you’ll be fine here and there’s plenty of places where you can retreat and hide in when you need to be away from the madness. I’ve only  been here a few days so I’m also getting used to it. They’re so good, so I’m glad to hear you appreciate them also. You can just have some, being the new kid is hard enough.

Alright, I’m here for it! Pillows! I got it! Raiding this place out of all pillows, any complaints we know nothing! Sounds like the wisest choice, everyone enjoys a good comedy or a Disney movie! Yes! I made it! All is well in the world now. 

If anyone asks, we have no idea what happened to their pillows, all the ones we use for the fort we brought in ourselves. We can always blame it on someone else, I vote Niall for eating all my jaffa cakes. 

sorry, did you just say jaffa cakes ? pretty sure i just ate almost all of them. it’s that time of the month, you know. i’ll help you build that blanket fort to make it up to you, deal ? i also vote for ‘the notebook’ as movie suggestion, i need a good cry.

I swear to god you’re all worse than my brothers, I miss living alone already. I better call my mum and ask her to send me more and this time I’m hiding them. Okay deal, you can help me build the fort and The Notebook is added to the list.

niall looked up with a mouthful of jaffa cakes. “these?” he questioned with an ‘oops’ face as he chewed. “sorry, lad. helped meself.” he swallowed and gave an innocent smile. “i’m an exception though, yeah?” he laughed. “yeah definitely. just a big sleepover. it’s a lot of fun, innit? i’m definitely in for the fort. sounds fun.”

Tom’s face fell as he quickly realised what was happening, “dude!” Tom threw his arms up in the air in defeat, “I got my mum to send me those.” His face quickly softened though, clearly not that bothered by the situation, “why do you have one of those faces that means I can’t stay mad at you.” 

i won’t lie to you buddy, i definitely wasn’t thinking of it that way. but you’ve convinced me. i’ve got to ask, though. what’s this jaffa cake thing that you’re speaking of ?

A bunch of people sleeping in the same room is technically a sleepover. Oh mate, it’s basically a biscuit, but there’s also an argument that it’s actually a cake, because it’s like a spongy base, with an orange jelly middle and then the top is coated in chocolate, they’re so good.

Now that’s a fun idea, where do I sign up?! Let’s built a fort to fulfill our childhood dreams! Movie suggestions, not from the top of my head, we would have to do some scrolling through our options. I’m not a big an of horror, anything else, bring it. Oh is that so? I’m a nice person, sure I can convince you to share some… 

No sign up is needed, we just all have to meet in the lounge. Let’s do it, we can build the biggest fort people have ever seen. I’ll grab the blankets and you can get the pillows. Probably most recently was some of the stunts I had to do for Uncharted. There were a few times where I took a moment to think 'what am I doing?' They were crazy.
