dont know if its the gel or what but i have 0 appetite after that run

#forced my eggs and toast down with a cup of tea but i feel sick #the gel shouldnt be that hard to digest though only 22 g of carb #maybe i need to just keep training my stomach #next weeks plan is 16k so maybe i should try two gels?#the thing is i'll be out there for 2 and a half hours so idk how much i'll need #also will probably try to have salt water or something to replenish electrolytes i sweat so much #literally could feel salt crystals on my face it was disgusting

#2 hours 16 minutes straight.. crazy #feel like i can barely walk now #and i need a shower bad ;(#also should eat but feel kind of sick #think that my stomach handled the gel well and the pineapple flavour was good #vest was okay but had to put the water bottle in the back pocket bc the sloshing was irritating #its definitely harder when you run slower bc your body just has to take so much more impact #hopefully on the day i'll be a little faster just from more practise/ race day vibes / not running in the same loop over and over #also i think the path will be nicer than the trail that i use rn #ugh ok need to shower and eat urgently

been running an hour and ten minutes and only halfway through 🫩

#took my gel and drank water so have to go again now #tbh doing absolutely fine in terms of heart beat and breath but it’s painful on my joints #okay going to go now.

#im all for hating untalented nepo babies but like i genuinely dont think she did anything wrong in this situation 😭#its kind of like kicking a puppy #but whatever art is supposed to be messy so i really dgaf #also phoebes music is best to me without the context of her personal life #like punisher especially. its very specific but when i listen to it it can just become another world #it kind of feels like youre hearing stories from a post apocalyptic world or something and thats what i like to imagine #trying to avoid more opinions about this album so i can just experience it in that way #and not associate it with shallow celebrity drama involving untalented people no shade

#not running today i just cant do it #but hopefully i can test everything out tomorrow #the vest seems to be okay worried its slightly big tho #put everything on the tightest setting so i hope it will work out once i fill out all the pockets and stuff #dont want it to be loose and bouncing around #socks fit me and im glad to have actual socks for running using my normal socks felt so gross to me #the face covering thingy was just a tube of fabric so maybe not the smartest thing to buy #but it does do what it said it would excited for winter so i can use it #might go and test out the lifting straps rn tho

have to buy £50 worth of stuff for running but cant bring myself to click it..

ok managed to do some kind of leg day now have to do a 30 minute recovery run at some point

#my hip was still being weird when i did my speed run so might stretch this week of running out to two weeks to recover a bit better #also trying to be better at doing exercises that will help my legs for running #doing calf raises kettlebell swings tib raises etc..#i think the workout today was a bit better than usual maybe bc of the amount of carbs i had #but thats not sustainable to do i cant have a whole pizza the night before any hard workout...#i think im just really averse to pushing myself to failure #and i can do it for two exercises max and then i lose all energy for afterwards #at least im doing something i guess..#i just really want to get stronger so badly like i want to be at the bare minimum level of strength that i feel like most people have..
