Especially the Firbolg. Stuck halfway between the isolated firbolg grove and general society with its many unfamiliarities. The only firbolg who saw the merit of "hoarding" food for the purpose of sharing it later. The only student who knew literally nothing about money on the first day of accounting class, and asked why he and a hypothetical squirrel couldn't just share the hypothetical tree. Like, we all joked after that episode about how Firbolg was baffled and disgusted by capitalism, but that turned out to be pretty legit, huh?

And Fitzroy!!! Oh, Fitzroy. Yes, he's passionate and ambitious and hungry for more than his lot in life - but he's also... good. More good than he knew, I think. Certainly more good than Order or Chaos expected. The same with Argo. He's a rogue, and as Fitzroy said during the tribunal, he's amazingly kind and honest. And not to sound corny, but... the two of them broke the mold because of the power of friendship.

Chaos and Order brought the Thundermen together because they needed each other - to be a successful heroic team, that is. But they also needed each other, in a human way that the deities thought inconsequential to their grand plan. All three of them came to Wiggenstaff's angry and lonely. But then suddenly they weren't alone - they had friends. And then eventually, they weren't so angry, because life looks a little less shitty with friends.
