Request- Somethingâs Wrong
âWhatâs going on?â The Squip wondered. He had just reactivated, but something was definitely wrong. Jeremy was curled up in his bed, crying, and that was only half of the problem. It was the middle of the night, and Jeremy shouldnât be up.
At first the Squip didnât want to bother Jeremy. He seemed really upset and the Squip was afraid of Jeremy lashing out at him. It was probaly the super-computerâs fault anyway. However, the Squip soon relized Jeremy didnât seem to notice he was even there. He quietly approached Jeremy.
âWhatâs wrong?â The Squip asked as gentley as possible, hoping not to startle Jeremy. The sudden voice made Jeremy flinch, but thatâs it. Jeremy looked up to see the Squip, looking at him concerned.
âN-nothing, Iâm just sick.â Jeremy stuttered. It was then that the Squip noticed the trash can next to Jeremyâs bed, the bottles of water on his nightstand, and the constant sweat dripping down his face.
Jeremy mustâve been feeling awful. Not only was he showing obvious signs of the stomach flu, but he actually admitted to being sick. Jeremy would always hide being sick, espically from the Squip (though it was illogical to since the Squipâs inside his brain), so this wasnât a good sign.
Suddely, Jeremy felt like throwing up. He grabbed the trash can and heaved painfully into it. âSq...uipâ Jeremy whimpered. The Squip was right there by his side, rubbing his back.
âI donât feel goodâ Jeremy whined, cuddling into the Squip to have any comfort he could get.
âShh, I know.â The Squip replied, craddling Jeremy to make him feel better. âIâm calling Michael Mell right now to tell him youâre sick. Heâll be here in aproxamintly 10 minutes.â The Squip explained, hacking into Jeremyâs phone to tell Michael, Jeremyâs sick.
Michael was confused when he got a call in the middle of the night. It was weird, to have the phone ring at 2 am, but he was awake, and answered it.
âJeremyâs sick. Get over here!â An unfamiliar voice said on the line, then hung up. He wasnât sure what was more worrying: that Jeremy was sick, or that somebody possibly hacked Jeremyâs phone. It didnât matter though, because Michael went to Jeremyâs house anyway.
Michael arrived at Jeremyâs house about 10 minutes later, just as the Squip said he would. He was surprised by what he saw. Jeremy was resting his head, on an unusal personâs chest, who was trying to comfort him. Michael then looked closer at the human(?).
âKeanu Reeves?â He said outloud, on accident. The figure didnât budge, but Jeremy did, moving his head to look at the source of the voice. Michael noticed Jeremyâs eyes were slightly red, and he mustâve been crying earlier. Jeremy also had a fever flush, which meant Jeremy was infact sick.
âMikey?â Jeremy whimpered. Michael sat down next to mystery figure. âMikey, I donât feel good.â Jeremy complained, looking up at his friend with glossy, feverish eyes.
âShh, I know. You should go to sleep, youâll feel better.â Michael explained. Jeremy shook his head âno,â making Michael confused. âWhy not?â
âCanât sleep. Everything hurts.â Jeremy complained, burying his head into the thingâs chest. Michael rubbed Jeremyâs back.
âIâll cuddle with you.â Michael suggested. Jeremy looked up at Michael, who gave him a slight smile. Jeremy agreed, and Michael climbed into bed with Jeremy.
The mystery figure was about to leave, but Jeremy didnât let go of his hand. He sighed, slightly smiled, and crawled into bed with Jeremy and Michael.
They heard soft snoring a few minutes later. Jeremy was finally asleep. Michael looked up at the unknown person and made eye contact. âUm...who exactly are you?â
