Before construction started on the Thunderbolt a time lapse camera was installed on the Parachute Jump. The first time lapse has been put together and is ready for your viewing pleasure. We hope you enjoy!

Yesterday's ribbon cutting and soft opening of the Thunderbolt was a huge success! We'd like to thank everyone who came out and can't way to see all the smiling faces of the thrill seekers who ride it. Take a ride today!

This week marks the opening of the Thunderbolt, a modern roller coaster looping and corkscrewing through historic Coney Island in Brooklyn. The coaster is a towering orange lasso with 2200 feet of track, squeezed into an unbelievably narrow space. Here's our up close and personal look at NYC's latest thrill ride.

You won't have to wait for the Thunderbolt much longer. The Maintenance Team is currently fine-tuning all technical aspects of the ride. This fine tuning will ensure that every guest has the best possible ride as soon as the first car leaves the station. WE. CAN'T. WAIT. 

Whether it is viewed from sea, land or air the Thunderbolt is always a wonderful sight. 

Very soon the Thunderbolt will give you a new reason to drop in to Coney Island!

Congrats to the first riders on the Thunderbolt! Mr. Zamperla grabbed a quick shot of our President, Operations Manager Alessandro and an Engineer on their return to the station. The Thunderbolt is currently testing with an accelerometer.

One of the Thunderbolt ride cars is on the track! We're entering the final stages, testing starts soon!
