Reality works exactly like that. When you're fully holding:
“I already have it” AND “But I don’t see it right now,” you're living in a frequency clash.
The system hates that. Awareness can’t remain in pure contradiction. So it starts syncing to the resolution. It starts looking for that “8 Hz” that makes sense of the noise.
And when you crash out—when you’re crying, screaming, losing your mind over how the logic literally does not add up, because you KNOW, in every fiber of you, that this thing is yours but it’s not appearing—that moment is not a failure.
It’s not you wavering, it’s your awareness detecting a mismatch and equalizing.
The illusion is that you need to “believe better” or “assume more correctly” or “stay calm” for things to shift. Noooo. Realizing the bullshit is the gateway and crashing out is the recalibration. You're slamming two contradictory states together so hard that awareness is forced to adjust the observable reality to match your strongest signal— which, in that moment, is: “I KNOW I HAVE IT, BECAUSE I CAN’T INTEND TO HAVE SOMETHING AND NOT HAVE IT, SO IT MUST BE RIGHT HERE. I KNOW IT’S HERE, THE LACK IS FAKE!”
That creates movement. Five minutes of looking around at your CR like “I know I already have it, so what the fuck is this??” hits your awareness like a seismic wave.
Don’t fear the contradiction because you think wavering and checking the 3d kills your intention. Because the frequency of that dissonance is the only sound awareness can’t unhear.
“Wait, but won’t I then be observing a reality where I have it, but don’t see it?”
Well, is that what you intend? I know you’re smart. You intend to have your desire already. To shift. Now let go of this awful idea that they implanted in your mind, that if you check for proof, automatically you’re done for.
Check for proof, because if you don’t see it in front of your eyes right this second while intending to have it, then what you’re seeing simply isn’t real. Remember that the proof that you have your desire, is not seeing your desire itself, but the action (intention) you took to have that outcome.
I know you feel crazy. I know you’re practically tearing your hair out and wondering what the hell you’re doing wrong, why you’re not shifting.
But your logic is fine. Your sanity’s intact. What you’re feeling is the pressure of suppressed knowing. Like trying to sit calm in a burning building because someone told you you had to “trust.”
No. Scream. Bust the fucking door down. Delete Tumblr. Tell these bloggers (myself included) to shove their advice. You don’t need all of this, because you already know what’s yours. That’s why you can’t quit or let this go.
When you’re crashing out in tears, you’re not “blocking your manifestation,” you’re sweating it out like a fever breaking.
Stop thinking the dissonance means you’re wrong. It means you’re too right to ignore.

i have a question, and i fully believe in shifting and i swearrr it’s in good faith, but it’s the most confusing part for me (and the doubt that arises most often) and i’d love to hear your take on it, you’re so good at articulating complicated ideas and such

this isn’t tough love. this isn’t a scolding. this is just the mechanics of reality. this isn’t about blame. it’s not your fault, but it is your responsibility (i saw this quote somewhere and i really liked it, anyway). reality is malleable, but only if you stop acting like you’re at its mercy. stop waiting for permission. stop refreshing the page, stop tapping the glass. it’s done. act accordingly.
consider your brain an old, glitchy computer, whirring in the corner of your psyche, choking on its own outdated code. your subconscious doesn’t know what’s real versus imagined, it only knows the instructions you give it. and if those instructions are “this isn’t happening, i don’t see it, i don’t believe it,” well, congratulations, the system registers that as the blueprint. and it prints that out. over and over. like a bureaucratic nightmare, a kafka novel of your own making.
this is not to say that doubt is failure, doubt is human, doubt is a thrum in the background of any great creation. but if doubt is the occasional rainstorm, belief is the structural integrity of the house. belief holds. belief carries. belief is the scaffolding between you and the impossible, and without it, you are just standing in an empty field, waiting for architecture to spontaneously occur.
there’s a reason schrodinger’s cat remains the most infuriating hypothetical in quantum mechanics, because the cat is both alive and dead until you open the box. the observer collapses the wave function. and in this case, you are the observer. if you don’t believe it, you keep the box shut. if you do believe it, the universe is already rearranging itself around your conviction.
this is not new-age drivel. this is not a vision board with a quote about perseverance peeling off in the humidity. this is physics. have you ever thought about someone, and then they text you five minutes later? that’s the speed at which reality moves when you don’t get in your own way. you didn’t sit there clutching your skull, willing them into existence, you just assumed, with ease, with god-tier nonchalance. and because you weren’t scrutinising the timeline like a detective with a corkboard and red string and bloodied eyes, the message came through. the only thing standing between you and everything you want is the way you react to its absence. the hand-wringing, the despair, the creeping doubt, it’s a full-time job, and it pays in absolutely nothing.
which brings me to my next point: trying. trying is the problem. trying implies effort, and effort implies resistance, and resistance is another way of saying “i don’t actually believe i have this.” and you know what people do when they have things? they stop worrying about whether they have them. a person in possession of an apple does not pace the room, clutching their chest, whimpering, “but do i really have it?” they just eat the apple.
and before you say, “but look at my reality, it’s contradicting me,” i will say this once, and you must etch it into your mind like scripture: reality is old news. what you are seeing is just a delayed projection of past assumptions. do not react to it. do not engage with it. it is a rerun of a show you no longer care about. the moment you stop feeding into the contradictions, they wither. the moment you accept that what you want is already done, reality will course-correct. until then, it is an echo chamber of your previous doubts. ignore it like it’s a tabloid headline about a scandal that never actually happened.

and before the panic sets in, no, this does not mean you must be a perfect disciple of unwavering belief. doubt will creep in, as it always does. you will have moments of existential dread, of scrutinising, of muttering “but what if” into your hands at 2 a.m. this is fine. this is human. just don’t let it become the dominant narrative. there will be moments where you feel like you're nowhere, like your manifestations have abandoned you and you're left with nothing but the weight of your own effort. do not, under any circumstances, entertain this lie. i will personally resurrect the fear of god just to drill this into you: do not. what you do instead is cry a little, wipe your face, and then lock the fuck in, because i swear on everything, sometimes, all it takes is a stretch of nothing to summon an abundance of everything. let the doubt pass through like an intrusive thought you refuse to entertain, like a pigeon that landed in your cafe but is not, in fact, your problem.
maybe this reminds you of when the soviets tried to scientifically disprove intuition, only to realise they had unintentionally proved it instead. maybe this reminds you of every ghost story you’ve ever heard, how the only ones who see them are the ones who expect to.

let's say you have doubts (which is a completely normal thing to occur. you're a human after all). something along the lines of: i'm so sure it's real i can feel it in my bones, wait they didn't respond to my text so i am.... going to explode. wait no i know they love me. wait am i delusional. hmmm i might just go cry. ok but actually i'm still right. i feel it. ok but what if i'm wrong. ok but i'm not.
and you don't know which assumption is going to reflect your 3d?
the way out isn't through being perfectly regulated but continuing to re-choose the assumption no matter how dysregulated you get.
not trying to silence your brain and not trying to erase panic, instead just learning how to feel as if you're falling apart and still pick your assumption anyway.
you are not going to trick your nervous system into peace through rigid repetition. your assumptions need to feel like safe homes. that being,
i know i always come back to love.
i know i always get what i want.
even when it feels as if i'm losing, i'm still safe.
and let the panic be there.
you don't need to suppress your freak outs, just let them happen without deciding that they mean anything.
panic does not equal to proof that your assumption is false.
and tears do not equal to failure, nor do doubts equal to blockage. feel it, and let it pass, and go lie on the floor, and then come back and say:
okay, i still know what i want.
don't chase for your relief. you will not always feel better right away. sometimes you assume and then cry, sometimes you affirm and still feel shaky.
that's fine.
what matters is that you don't check for immediate results. don't go: "i affirmed that he loves me so why do i still feel like dying??" but instead opt for (and i knowwwww it's hard. but if you're setting all this foundation up, why let a quick storm ruin it?):
okay. feelings are loud right now. but the truth, MY truth, is still the truth.
the world will move based on what you persist in choosing, even when you're falling apart.
and yes, i know you've heard it all before, but the 3d is not your parent. you're not a little child waiting for the world to hug you back before you're allowed to prosper, and you don't need external permission.
stop asking reality to soothe you, soothe yourself, then return to your choice.
they didn't say it yet, but i already know this thing is mine.
so. how to ignore the 3d and/or your negative thoughts?
let's say your brain goes: they hate me. so. you go: i'm still loved. even if i don't feel it right now.
or your body panics, you're thinking, maybe i've been abandoned. but you persist. and so you go: i've felt this before, and it wasn't the truth then either.
you want to text them, spiral, beg, cry. you can, you're not broken. but later, for your own prosperity, you come back to: i'm still the version who gets the love, and i know that.
a clearest step-by-step that i can provide:
for example, you choose the assumption: i got into harvard.
you wake up and feel doubt, and so your brain says "but what if i didn't?"
no, we're not going to be checking. what we are going to say is "that is simply an old reaction, because i already got in."
your friends might say mention that decisions are out soon, and you might feel nervous, maybe your heart races. but. instead of crashing out, something that is going to get you absolutely nowhere, you choose that. "hey, i already got in, i'm safe."
you check your email, nothing there, no update. still, you breathe. and mentally go "doesn't matter. i know i got in."
eventually, your assumption solidifies, and the result appears. and bam.
you can assume i can check the 3d as much as i want, and it doesn't affect my assumption,
or breaking down doesn't ruin anything for me because i always get what i want,
or i don't have to persist since one thought is enough,
or even when i doubt, my final decision always manifests,
or nothing overrides my assumption unless i say so.
and once that becomes your dominant logic, it becomes the system your world runs on, meaning that now you aren't just manifesting objects or outcomes but also the entire framework your 3d uses to respond to you.
yes, there are the foundations of set rules and suggestions in your journey such as don't check, don't doubt, persist or else, don't think about the opposite.
but you are the god of your reality, meaning you can assume that those rules do not apply to you.
meaning you are allowed to say:
i can break all the 'rules' and still get what i want, because this has always been mine.
and if that's the assumption you hold most often, then that becomes true in your reality.
why is my reality lagging? why am i, the divine, the ordained, the girl on the hill, not seeing the thing i have declared mine? i have sat in the temple of assumption. i have dined with the lords of the quantum realm. i have whispered my desires into the cosmos like a mistress to the moon. so where the fuck is it?
breathe. inhale. exhale. do not become a tragic greek figure, clawing at the sky, cursing the gods, wailing into the abyss. you are not sisyphus. you are not icarus. you are, in fact, the universe wearing a silly little meatsuit. and the universe is not incompetent.
but let’s get clinical. let’s get ruthless. let’s get biblical.
i , are you checking the 3d like a victorian wife checking the window for her husband’s ship? if you keep looking at the 3d for confirmation, you are living in the state of lack. and what does the 3d do? it mirrors. so if you live in the state of “where is it,” the 3d will say, “where is what” right back to you. congrats, you’ve manifested a waiting room. enjoy the grey chairs and outdated magazines.
ii , are you persisting or are you pouting? manifestation is not a negotiation. you do not get to sit across from the universe like a hostile business partner, arms crossed, demanding results before you believe. belief is the contract. assumption is the currency. you are either in the state of the wish fulfilled, or you are outside in the cold, shivering, looking through the window at your desire having a candlelit dinner without you.
iii , are you declaring or are you begging? the universe does not respond to “please, oh mighty forces, grant me this one thing.” the universe responds to, “this is mine because i said so.” you do not ask. you do not hope. you do not weep at the altar. you declare.
iv , are you actually embodying it? or are you just thinking about it in a cute way? imagining yourself as the version of you who has it is not a one-time aesthetic exercise. it is a full-body possession. the reality in which you have it is the real reality. this one, the one that says you don’t, is the illusion. the question is, which one do you choose to believe?
v , are you reacting to the 3d like it’s god? the 3d is old news. the 3d is a corpse. the 3d is a polaroid of a moment that has already passed. if you react to it, if you bow to it, if you let it dictate your inner world, you are breathing life back into the past instead of standing in the present, drenched in your fulfilled desire, dripping in inevitability.
vi , do you actually think it’s yours? or do you just want it? wanting is not having. wanting is the antithesis of having. wanting says, “this is separate from me.” having says, “it is done.” when you order food at a restaurant, you do not sit there worrying that it won’t come. you just know it’s on the way. so why are you treating your desire like a lost package instead of an assured delivery?
the 3d will fold. it will bend to your assumption like a devout disciple. but only if you hold the line. only if you refuse to be swayed by what is already dead. only if you walk like the god you are, not the peasant you fear you might be.
your desire is yours. it always was. the question is, will you finally start acting like it?

what happens when you don’t get what you manifested?
when you do everything right. cross your t’s, dot your i’s, sit in the knowing, let the reality rearrange itself around your godlike certainty.....and then, nothing? you open your gradebook, and the number is staring back at you like a bad joke. you check your phone, and the text still hasn’t come. you step on the scale, and the needle hasn’t moved. now what? do the laws of the universe break? does the simulation glitch? do you get a refund?
or.
maybe, just maybe, you’re trying to read the ending before the book is finished.
it’s not that manifestation "didn’t work." it’s that you decided it was over before the final act even started. you’re waiting for the curtain to fall when the orchestra hasn’t even tuned their instruments.
reality is not a drive-thru. there is no instant gratification window where you order a result and receive it in 3-5 business days. and thank god, because if everything arrived on a strict deadline, you’d be suffocating under the weight of a million half-baked wishes you didn’t even mean.
you are not here to micromanage the universe. you are not the project manager of your own fate, standing over it with a clipboard and a deadline. your job is not to obsess over how or when. your job is to know. and knowing is not checking the clock every five minutes. knowing is not refreshing the page, scouring the fine print, or declaring failure at the first sign of turbulence. knowing is reading a terrible grade, exhaling, and saying, "irrelevant." knowing is getting left on read and thinking, "plot twist." knowing is understanding that what you want is still coming. not late, not lost, not forgotten, just moving in a way you cannot yet see.
so what happens when you don’t get what you manifested???? nothing. the story isn’t over. you are not a victim of cosmic betrayal. you are simply someone who pressed "place order" and then had the audacity to assume the kitchen was closed because your food wasn’t on the table within the hour. relax. the chef is still cooking.

let's chat shifting and loa, and my best "hack" for either of those things for a sec.
now, i'm sure you've all heard a thousand and one explanations, but let me break it down easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
so, as well all know, shifting your reality or manifesting your desires all boils down to your consciousness (sounds fancy, i know), but it's just your awareness choosing a lane on a road with, give or take, a gazillion exits.
think about it as if you are having your pick of the litter for your future outcomes.
your consciousness is practically hopping into one of these countless potential futures, so there's no big mystery here going behind the curtains, it's just selecting a different apple to pluck, nothing more and nothing less.
let me steer away from that a bit and talk about why people fail?
the simplest way to put it is this: their awareness never really leaves their current reality. and yes, sure, they might be saying the right things, but inside they're still checking every little box in the 3d, still checking the scoreboard, still measuring whether it's working.
and when you do that, what occurs is that your awareness stays stuck on the version of reality where your desire isn't there.
they never truly handed over the reins to the desired version, and so their consciousness keeps circling back to the present version, to what's missing or how long it's taking.
and if your internal focus is sitting in the version where nothing's changed, then that's the version you keep experiencing, simply because that's how awareness works. it stabilises whatever you keep feeding it, so if you want to know why something isn't shifting, start by asking:
where has your awareness actually been living?
because if it's been camping out in your cr, then yes, it's no surprise you keep waking up there.
and it makes sense, your cr is like right up in your face, breathing down your neck, impossible to ignore.
it's as if someone screaming at the top of their lungs next to you, and you can't exactly pretend you don't hear them. people always ask me, how do i ignore the 3d? how do i pretend xyz isn't happening? and look, i'll be honest, ignoring your current reality is a bit of a tall order.
it's something akin to trying to pretend the elephant in the room isn't knocking over your favourite vase.
but hey, you don't actually have to ignore your 3d completely.
now! hear me out, because doubts are totally normal.
feeling unsure, getting hit by circumstances, it's part and parcel of being human.
life throws curveballs, and sometimes they're a doozy.
so, rather than fighting tooth and nail to block out reality completely (which is exhausting, trust me, i've been there), you kinda just..... roll with it. acknowledge it. but then just shift your attention away.
shifting your awareness, your consciousness, even a little bit, does the trick more than giving all of your weight back to your cr / 3d.
and that's exactly where the phrase regardless, i've already shifted or regardless, i've already got xyz becomes your best buddy.
why does this little phrase work so well, you may ask, to which i delightfully reply, because it steers your awareness back to the reality you've chosen, without you having to beat yourself up for noticing the current one.
the second you shift your consciousness, even slightly, you've already moved into a different outcome. holding onto your cr (which, even then, is ever shifting) or obsessing over what you see right now is like replaying the same old record, you're gonna keep hearing the same old tune.
but when you say regardless, you're getting yourself a get-out-of-jail-free card, and then it's simple as that.
i know god of your reality-ism can feel a little dramatic, but it's actually very simple, and it'd still wouldn't hurt for me to explain it to those who might still be a bit confused by it.
your consciousness, your awareness, your focus, your dominant inner story, is what selects which version of reality you shift into.
you're shifting into the version where your desire is already real.
so let's say you want to be in your dr, or you want to be in a reality where your desire is fulfilled.
you don't have to build it from scratch, (simply because that reality already exists, and now) your only job is to shift your awareness toward it.
your words will help you do that, because every time you say something, especially something like i already have this or i've already shifted, you're literally directing your focus, your awareness, toward a specific version of a future outcome.
that's why saying regardless, i've already got it works, it's a directional statement, akin to a little compass that points you back toward the version of reality where you already have what you want.
and every time you say it, you're reinforcing your alignment with that outcome.
the logistics are honestly this: the moment your awareness rests in the reality where you already have what you want, you've already shifted.
you're choosing. and your choice gets honoured, because that's how awareness works. it moves you.
so, every single time you gently remind yourself regardless, i've already shifted, you're choosing to live the experience you've picked out from those countless possibilities.
you don't have to pretend things aren't bothering you.
and you most definitely don't have to lie to yourself or go full ostrich escue with your head buried deep in the sand.
instead, you'd be, simply, steering your consciousness back to where you actually wanna be.
so.
next time doubts creep in or your cr feels too messy, remind yourself regardless, i've already got it. regardless, i've already shifted.
because that, my friends, is how easy shifting your consciousness can actually be.

𖥻 MYTH #1. PEOPLE IN YOUR DR ARE WAITING FOR YOU.
FALSE. RING DING DING DING DING !! they are not hosting a welcome party. the moment you shift, you’re simply waking up AS that version of yourself. you’re already living there—your dr self is mid-life, mid-moment, just existing like, “oh, hey.” nothing changes for them when you shift; it’s like jumping into a running movie as one of the actors.
𖥻 MYTH #2. YOU HAVE TO WALK THROUGH A PORTAL LIKE IT’S A FANTASY NOVEL.
FALSE. no magic keys, mirrors, or coraline-esque portals here. shifting is subtle AF—one minute you’re in your cr (current reality), and the next, BOOM, you’re THERE. the "travel" part is internal, and your consciousness just movesto a different layer of reality. it’s like going from one dream to another, except it’s fully lucid and intentional.
𖥻 MYTH #3. YOU HAVE TO VISUALISE EVERYTHING PERFECTLY OR IT WON’T WORK.
FALSE. perfection is a scam. you don’t have to memorise your script word-for-word or see your dr in 8K HD. intent and focus are what matter. even if your visualisation feels a little blurry, as long as you know where you’re headed, you’re fine. it’s not about artistic talent; it’s about aligning your energy.
𖥻 MYTH #4. IF YOU SHIFT, YOU MIGHT NEVER COME BACK.
FALSE. BABE, RELAX. you aren’t tethered to your cr, or your dr, or to any other existing reality. shifting isn’t a “bye forever” situation unless you specifically decide to make it one. and even then, you can return to your cr if you choose.
𖥻 MYTH #5. YOU’LL FEEL LIKE A STRANGER IN YOUR DR BECAUSE IT’S NEW.
FALSE. you’re already you in your dr. you’re not “visiting” or “starting fresh.” you’re syncing with a version of yourself that’s already in the thick of it. the memories, relationships, and vibes are already there—it’s like waking up after a nap and slipping back into life.
𖥻 MYTH #6. SHIFTING ONLY WORKS IF YOU USE [INSERT WHATEVER TRENDY METHOD HERE].
FALSE. the julia method? the pillow method? THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE THING??? cute names, but you don’t need any specific method to shift. methods are tools, not rules. what works for you might be completely different, and that’s okay. some people use visualisation, some use meditation, whatever, whatever. but you don’t neeeeeeeeeeeed any of those.
𖥻 MYTH #7. YOU CAN’T SCRIPT [BLA BLA BLA] BECAUSE IT’S UNREALISTIC.
FALSE. sis, you’re literally shifting into another reality. the concept of “realistic” goes out the window. wanna live in hogwarts? have 300 million followers? be married to your celebrity crush? WRITE IT DOWN. you’re the architect; there are no limits except the ones you believe in.
𖥻 MYTH #8. IF YOU DON’T FEEL SYMPTOMS, YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG.
FALSE. mind you, most “symptoms” are just your body falling asleep. not everyone gets tingles, vibrations, or floaty feelings. some people feel absolutely nothing before they shift. you don’t need a dramatic broadway show to prove it’s working. sometimes, it’s as simple as poof—you’re there.
𖥻 MYTH #9. YOU CAN’T SHIFT IF YOU DOUBT IT WORKS.
FALSE. doubts happen; it’s part of being human. shifting doesn’t require unwavering faith—it requires action. you can shift even if you’re unsure, as long as you stay open to the possibility. it’s about persistence, not perfection.
𖥻 MYTH #10. YOUR DR WON’T FEEL AS REAL AS YOUR CR.
FALSE. your dr is just as vivid, tangible, and sensory-rich as your cr. you can touch, taste, hear, and live it all with the same intensity. the only reason your cr feels “more real” is because you’re used to it. once you shift, your dr is your new “real.”
𖥻 MYTH #11. SHIFTING TAKES WEEKS OR MONTHS TO MASTER.
FALSE. time? who? shifting is as quick as your mind allows. some people shift within hours, while others take longer because they’re still working through doubts or fears. there’s no universal timeline, so stop comparing yourself.
𖥻 MYTH #12. IF YOU FAILL, YOU’LL NEVER SHIFT.
FALSE. failing isn’t the end—it’s just part of the process. you’re learning what works for you. every failed attempt brings you closer to that sweet, sweet click where everything aligns. KEEP. TRYING.
𖥻 MYTH #13. YOUR CR SELF WILL DIE (OR BE IN A COMA STATE) WHEN YOU SHIFT.
FALSE. dark much? your cr self doesn’t “die.” nor does it go into a coma until you come back. it’s still there, chilling, doing what you do in your cr. shifting is about expanding, not erasing. think of it like opening multiple tabs in your browser—you’re not closing one, just switching focus.
𖥻 MYTH #14. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SCRIPT.
FALSE. scripts are very much optional. they’re a great tool if you like structure, but not a requirement. if you can visualise or simply feel your dr in your heart, you’re golden. the universe doesn’t care if you wrote an essay or not.
𖥻 MYTH #15. YOUR CR AND DR SELVES WILL COLLIDE OR MIX UP.
FALSE. they’re like parallel lines. each version of you exists in its own reality without crashing into the other. you’re not gonna accidentally bring dr memories into cr unless you script it or focus on retaining them. and no, your s/o won’t somehow gift you a necklace, and you bring it back. that’s impossible. unless you want to script/visualise your s/o gifting a necklace you have in your cr already ! then that’s just cute.
𖥻 MYTH #16. SHIFTING IS DANGEROUS.
FALSE. fear-mongering alert! shifting is a mental and spiritual practice, like meditation or lucid dreaming. you’re just expanding your consciousness, not diving into the upside down. you won’t die, okay? pinky promise.
𖥻 MYTH #17. YOU HAVE TO MEDITATE FOR HOURS IN ORDER TO SHIFT.
FALSE. meditation is great, but it’s not the secret sauce. you don’t need to be a zen master, sitting cross-legged and humming for hours. shifting can happen in any state—falling asleep, daydreaming, even while scrolling tiktok.
𖥻 MYTH #18. SHIFTING WILL MESS UP YOUR MENTAL HEALTH.
FALSE. breathe, sweetheart. shifting is all about tapping into your consciousness and aligning with your desires—it’s not inherently harmful. if you have mental health struggles, be mindful and don’t overexert yourself, but shifting itself is NOT going to send you spiralling. it’s a tool, not a trap.
𖥻 MYTH #19. IF YOU SHIFT TO THE SAME DR MULTIPLE TIMES, YOU’LL MESS IT UP.
FALSE. you’re not gonna “break” your dr like it’s a glitchy video game. every time you shift back, it’s as if you’ve never left. your dr self is simply carrying on as normal, living life. there’s no limit to how many times you can shift to the same place.
𖥻 MYTH #20. YOUR DR WON’T FEEL EMOTIONAL OR PERSONAL.
FALSE. drs are INTENSELY personal! you’ll feel everything—love, joy, anger, heartbreak—just like in your cr. your emotions and connections in your dr are as real as any you’ve ever experienced. in fact, they might feel more real because they’re so aligned with your intentions.
𖥻 MYTH #21. YOU CAN ONLY SHIFT TO PERSONAL WORLDS.
FALSE. fictional, historical, modern-day, or even made-up worlds—the choice is yours. wanna date a 1950s movie star (like yours truly)? live in a vampire manor? rule 15th-century france? ALL OF THE ABOVE? go for it. you’re not limited by genre or category.
𖥻 MYTH #22. YOU HAVE TO LIE COMPLETELY STILL TO SHIFT.
FALSE. really thought we left this one in 2020 shifttok catastrophe, but some people might still think this !!! DON’T !!!! while some people prefer stillness to focus, others shift while lying on their sides, curled up like a shrimp, or even mid-fidget. your body doesn’t have to be frozen in rigor mortis for shifting to happen. comfort = key.
𖥻 MYTH #23. YOU’LL FORGET YOUR CR COMPLETELY WHEN YOU SHIFT BACK.
FALSE. you won’t wake up in your dr like, “who am i? where am i? FALSE. your dr self IS you. there’s no awkward “um, who are you?” “i’m XXX, who are you?” moment. you’re literally sliding into a version of yourself that already exists there, seamlessly. it’s not invasion of the body snatchers.

FALSE. this one’s giving creepy, but nope, your cr body will feel normal. whether you’re asleep or awake, it’s still alive and well, just chilling while your consciousness explores elsewhere. think of it as your body being on autopilot while you take a vacay.

FALSE. there’s always a way back. whether it’s scripted (a safe word, etc.) or just you deciding to wake up in your cr, you’re not trapped in your dr. YOU hold the power to move between realities.
