~Holy shit, did this chapter get away from me! Sorry about that. I ended up moving a lot of stuff to Chapter 7 because this thing is already massive, so stay tuned!

When one of Shane's coworkers begs him to swap shifts and work the medical tent at the Renaissance Fair, Shane thinks he's in for a quiet weekend of people-watching and babysitting drunks with his best friend. But when a wardrobe malfunction leads to bodily injury, Shane's weekend gets a bit more complicated.

Guess who went to the Renaissance Fair this weekend? I spit the first 2,000 words of this out in my notes app on the car ride back, and it wasn't until I got home that someone told me the paramedic/fairgoer concept was one they saw in Parks & Rec - and here I thought I was being original!
