I engage in furry racism, which boils down to being racist to specific Fursona subtypes. You might think this is useless, but it hits a different chord. You can call someone gay for having a fursona but that's lightweight. They expect that, it's why so many of them either are gay or are calling each other gay. You need to come at it from a new angle, and going for the jugular on their chosen fursona is that artery. Furries are beholden to the same subliminal mind games with fursonas that anyone else is to their own personas and it says a lot about them with said choice. Nothing quite tells you that you're dealing with an emotional wimp like a dog, a bird tells you that someone is both emotionally wistful and also a complete pushover. Et cetera down the line, and it is a nuclear missile in a conversation. Calling someone who's got a furry PFP gay? No shit Sherlock, there's probably three pride flags in their bio that say the obvious. you're the one hundredth person to call them that. But going "you would be a dog" will throw them for a fucking loop. It's a bluff no one expects to get called, especially from the hip.
