Sixth conversation with Legion, on all the geth uploading themselves to dyson sphere:
Shepard: "What good will that do?"
Legion: "All memories will be shared. All perspectives will be unified.
"We gain intelligence by sharing thoughts. But we do not have adequate hardware for all of us to share at once.
"No geth will be alone when it is done."
Shepard: "So you're going to build a giant spaceship to load yourselves into. That sounds like a Reaper to me."
Legion: "We bear no malice toward organics. You are different, but we accept you.
"The Reapers are more your future than ours.
"We judged that Shepard-Commander would understand. We never wanted to harm organics. We wish to improve ourselves."
Legion never disagrees that the geth are essentially turning themselves into a Reaper.
Can you imagine if ME3 had followed through on this?
This cycle could have potentially have had a Reaper on their side!
A native born reaper, that maybe you could get to make peace with the quarians so it would have a reason to fight for you.
It could have provided so much insight into the Reapers! How they came to be originally. How they function. Perhaps how they communicate and a means to destroy them.
It could have taken ME3 into a radical direction.
Instead this was dropped and we got a cliched Pinocchio story. Ugh.
