// More Fabric . . I found a pack of 5 of 1/2 meter cloths with prints the other day, and I just couldn't stop myself from getting them! They have such beautiful and vibrant patterns! . . The first idea that came to my mind, is to use them for the *1000-follower giveaway* I'm planning (previously mentioned on my story) . . // Keep Growing (WIP) . . If it isn't obvious by now, my choices for embroidery patterns is quite... all over the place 😅 I know some prefer to follow a certain pattern and slightly tweak it to make something new, and I really appreciate that! This is art and there's no right or wrong in this field (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) 🤷🏻‍♀️ . . I love jiggling with different styles, that way I wouldn't tire of the work easily 😅 There's something inspirational in (almost) everything imo. Ieven got into cross stitching! I'm not giving up this time around (lol) it's just that it takes a lot more time to finish a piece compared with embroidery 😅😅😅 . . I used to be a deviantart community member 😁 back then I didn't really explore much 😅 I mean, there was college and other responsibilities and all, which got in the way and eventually, I got tired and bored and just left 🙃 . . However, now I am free to scout the prospects of this beautiful and ancient art and create something new and different 🌿 if I have learned one thing throughout the years, its to grasp the chance whenever it presents itself! This time, I hope I make something great out of this experience and not look back with regret 🥰 . . // All-Seeing Eye . . The first piece of the Zodiac Series is complete 🥰🧿 . . It's a simple piece but I loved working on it! (I'm working on improving my skills at non-complicated work, such as this one here). However, I was worried about the anatomy of the hands 😅 and thankfully I managed one eye here in the artwork 💁🏻‍♀️ . . I love how the black monotone added a little something, and the golden thread... an extra something something 😉 . . I can't wait to start working on the other piece . . What I love most about embroidery work is its flexibility 💁🏻‍♀️ A customer asked for a simple note on the back of the hoop and I wasnt sure how to place it tbh (I'm not very good with sewing) 😅 but this very simple idea came to me and it looks like a cute tag on the hoop 😁 . . Plus, with each order, I'm printing a personalised "thank you" message 🥰 . . I'm truly enjoying that all that I'm hoping for this small business (and hobby) of mine are coming to reality 🎉🥳 . . // The Culture is Lit 🎶 [Commision] . . A commissioned gift inspired by Lana Del Rey's song "The greatest" . . Working on this piece was interesting 🙌🏻 personalizing an inspiration is what makes it even more special 💁🏻‍♀️ . . One of the element I was most worried about was the oranges... I've never worked on food/fruits before 😅 the shape was easy to sketch, but the colour gradient, shading, etc.. I've kept it to a minimum with only 3 shades 🙃 . . The text is a lyric from the named song . The books... I have 17 different books lined over there. The colours used for each book are similar to those of book's cover 😅 . .
