Thoughts of a Wandering Fish

Damn straight.

I've attached a video here by a man named Ben Swann. Mr. Swann has a dream of American Media that is unbiased and truthful - media that looks at both sides of a given issue, no matter how bad it hurts. This particular video concerns the recent exposure of the NSA collecting and storing phone calls, text messages, chat logs,and emails from Americans, and asks the question - are these actions legal, or illegal?

Cloud Atlas. It’s almost impossible to describe this movie, at least without giving a ton of plot away. Watch this trailer, and then seriously watch this movie. If you enjoy the movie that makes you think a lot, this movie is well worth your time. If you enjoy movies that are just action or comedy or romance, I’d say still watch this movie, because it’s seriously that good. A lot of critics or movie-goers I’ve read about have said they have walked out of this movie within the first thirty minutes. Don’t do that. Set aside the three hours necessary and watch it, or at least make it halfway through before you decide you hate the style and want nothing to do with it. And finally, I honestly believe this movie has great messages. Notice how I said messages - that’s right, there is more than one. You may very well not believe in all of them, as there are some pretty big metaphysical ideas, but this film covers a lot of other bases such as oppression, society, love, and fear. I’m done talking now. Go watch this movie, and then go watch it with a friend or two, because you’ll have great discussions, and the more people the ideas in this movie get to, the better, I feel.

It's an oldie but a goodie. Don't ever let your dreams die, and keep a positive cycle going through your descendants, if you ever get to that point in life!

Devil's Thumb near Petersburg, Alaska. 9,070 feet tall, and the northwest face has actually never been climbed, as it is the largest rock face in North America, at 6,700 feet.

Seeing these guys at the Gorge Amphitheater on August 24th. I can't really describe how excited I am, they are one of my top favorite bands.

Quite sure that is Mount Yukla, in the Chugach Range. Sitting at 7535 feet tall, its pretty tall compared to many other peaks in the range. As always when I post pictures of mountains...I really want to reach the summit someday.
