Thoughts by Warren

The sun invited me to the beach. I arrived to part where grass met sand and was wrapped in a warm hug and soft breeze to my lips. It's warm. Kind. The waves played a melody for me. I wasnt tryna get wet just yet although it's tune was so alluring. Beautiful, to say the least. The tips of the waves peaked with white sea bubbles, swipping against the sand. Come in, it soothingly persuaded. The water seemed honest. I just wanted a walk though. I just wanted to tip toe along the shore, dance about the stony floor, until my feet got sore. Until my feet got acquainted with this new turf. Until my feet got accustomed to every grain that had took a turn on my toes. Until each pebble of question was turned with an answer. Until I could say I know this sand. I dug my feet in, staring at the waves. Washing the bed of sand, it sung come lay down. I moved closer and closer to the tide and noticed it beginning to dwindle. The ocean had become a murky pond within the time of a morning. The sun sad farewell, as its patience had run out like the tide of the water. It's cold. The water seemed honest. I wasted a day at the "beach".

I am really not trying to be pessimistic with this new year starting, but let me just take my lonely ass home.
