If im a little saddened one day because of shit going on I’d rather be taken as I would usually then be takes as a “sad little baby not to be mean to”

In my English class we had to write a poem with a bunch of devices and a starting quote, so I ran with it and got way too into it imma be honest

The metal figure skims the floor

Like claws on rock,

It’s jaws rise and fall

A chorus of scrap and sinew,

A guttural roar,

It’s fatal encore

It’s wings spread like solar aray,

Catching the light of the room

“Good evening, son, look how much you’ve grown!”

A voice coming from the darkness,

Unrecognizable due to the shade of the door

“I didn’t expect your systems to be up so fast

After the mistake…”

The voice sent a feeing down,

A need to rebel or condemn

And it was screaming rebel

Even though my dad is a maga “transsexualism is a mental illness” typa guy

“Hey beautiful wanna go somewhere beyond thas pace?” He manages to sputter out

His friend who happens to be a euphonium walks over and takes his friend by the hand, apologizing aboit the disturbance
