i also do think it does a decent job setting up what blaine’s insecurities will be. like maybe a hot take bc i Don’t think they totally knew what to do with blaine yet or where his story would go in season 2 but! i do think they had a decent understanding of his emotional pressure points (or at least drew them from this) and that his insecurities in late s3 and onward don’t come out of nowhere.
