BIO: Born in Oakland, California, Christian lived a regular life, only son to Sylvia and Stephan St. James. His grandfather, Arthur St. James migrated to the United States at a young age, cementing the basis for what Christian’s family had grown up to be. His father was a successful business man and his mother was a Chief nurse at the County Hospital at Oakland, and that planted the idea in Christian’s mind of dedicating his career and life one day to Medicine, seeing how his mother job was. Always eager to help out in any way he could, he was sure it was a no brainer to consider once the day arrived. He got a Bachelor Degree on Health Sciences at the Samuel Merrit University, then moved to Los Angeles and continued his career at the UCLA School of Medicine, where after several years, he obtained his degree in Medicine. At the same time, he was hired at the UCLA Medical Center, where he worked on his three years of residence, until the time he graduated.

Regarding his place in the D/s world, he was marked a Dominant when he was 20 years old, and had to put a halt to his career in Medicine to attend to the D/s Academy in Los Angeles, where he stayed for 6 years, before he finally got his claim, a young man called Drew Yates, and once they both graduated, he returned to complete his career as a doctor. As much as he had loved living in Los Angeles all those years, he was starting to crave a calmer life now, so when the opportunity came up for a job as an Attending of the Family Medicine department at the Riverdale Hospital in Ohio, he felt the immediate pull at the idea, and he accepted. At the same time, he would be in charge of the medical checkups for the students at the Stonewall Prep BDSM Academy, and to be able to work at the place that was considered the top D/s Academy in the country had its own appeal. In a short time, he moved to Riverdale with his claim, and was now eager to find out what this new chapter of his life would bring.

Describe your occupational journey and how you got to where you are.  

I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in anything to do with Medicine. I think watching my mom and her work as a nurse always inspired me to it. I got my Bachelor degree at the Samuel Merrit University in Oakland, which is where I was born and raised, then I moved to L.A. and went to the UCLA School of Medicine to continue my career. I got a job at the UCLA Medical Center, where I did my residency, and then I stayed there, even after I graduated, working first as a resident, and then an attending in the emergency room. Some good years after that, I got offered a job here, in Riverdale, at the town’s hospital, and I didn’t hesitate to take it, mainly because I’ve been craving a change in my life for some time now.

How would you describe yourself as a Dominant?

I consider myself to be fair mostly. I clearly demand respect from those with a lower mark, but I also know you must earn people’s respect, anyone’s respect before you get it. Your actions dictate how you get treated in general. My submissive’s pleasure and comfort is important to me, most times even more important that my own.

How do you feel about authority?

Doesn't deal with anyone he dislikes well, no matter their mark.

Doesn't want to learn, he just wants to skip to being in a claim.

Everything was going well in Dominic's life up until that fateful day, when Fred Andrews passed away. He'd been doing well in school, he was interested in working at Andrews Construction. He was looking forward to what life had in store for him. But after going out with his high school sweetheart, he'd arrived home to tragedy. His mother sobbing, his brothers heartbroken. For a while, he felt detached from what was happening. He couldn't feel the heartbreak for himself. But more and more, in the weeks and months after the funeral, he found it easier to snap at people. Then Noah disappeared, and suddenly it was just easier for Dominic to be rude to people. His mother got to see a kinder side to him, Danny and Archie slightly less so, but anyone else had to prove themselves to him first. His relationship ended pretty quickly after Dominic pissed off his partner's family with his new personality, which only added fuel to his fire.

The combination of anger and grief left Dominic with feelings of worthlessness. He wouldn't show it, he'd put on a smile or a biting remark, but he was convinced he'd be the Andrews that was headed for the auction block. But he figured if that was how he was going out, he could at least send some time in the shithole town his brothers had decided to call home.

Clarington. It was a name that wielded power without trying. The patriarch of the family had made sure of that. On the whole, Tristan despised his father. He was an antiquated, power-hungry asshole without the bandwidth to evolve with the times. Tristan had always been mature for his age, and while he went along with the path their father set for the family’s sons well enough, he lost his patience when Gunner was essentially exiled after coming out. He kept his mouth shut as long as needed, smiling and nodding the time away until he went off to the army with his brothers. After accepting a scholarship with the ROTC program, he opted for a later deployment. He took his full ride, bolstered with his father’s checkbook to cover additional costs, and went off to the prestigious Ivy League school, Columbia University in New York City, and pursued business. With the tuition money laid out and living expenses covered, Tristan cut himself off from his father. He was determined to launch his own empire. Sure, his father’s money and connections got him on the right path, but in a way, it felt poetic to take his privilege and weaponize it against the Colonel. Furthering his dedication to his cause was his chance reunion with his twin brother, Gunner. Finding each other in New York City, Tristan was patient but relentless in his attempt to convince Gunner that he’d never given up on him and that he’d always been on his side. After a long but perfectly understandable length of time, they rekindled their brotherhood. Tristan promised Gunner he’d join him at the same academy after he got far enough in his education at Columbia.

Obtaining top marks in school and making his own connections along the way, Tristan opted to spend more time earning his degree to secure his place in the world before setting off to enroll at Stonewall. He worked at a big-time firm in the city for a CEO on the verge of retirement. With only about 5-10 years of employment left, the CEO agreed to sign the company over to Tristan once he was ready, meaning graduated, claimed, and finished with his service in the army. He knew showing up at Stonewall when he did meant less time, age-wise, to find a claim, but quite frankly, he wasn’t bothered by the time crunch. Plagued by good looks and limitless charm, Tristan was perhaps overly confident in his ability to find a claim quickly, especially upon arriving and receiving the Switch mark - which wasn’t ideal, but still allowed him to easily become what he’d always considered himself best suited to become: a Dominant.

Stonewall Academy was the beginning of the rest of his life. He’d find his claim, graduate, and then color the name ‘Clarington’ in a different, decidedly more vibrant shade. He detested the legacy his father was so proud of and was eager to besmirch it in every way imaginable.

BIO QUESTIONS:

What are your feelings about the mark you have received?  - I’m at peace with it. You don’t come from a family like mine not thinking you’re suited for the Dominant mark, so getting the Switch one was initially a let down, but logically, it’s all the same. I can still claim a submissive like I otherwise would. I’ll just have to suffer through some mandatory submissive courses that will ultimately prove useless to me. It’s not the end of the world - just an inconvenience.

How do your feelings on the system compare to your parents’ feelings on it? - Like my parents, I appreciate the societal order it maintains. Unlike my parents, I recognize it’s faults - like marking Archer submissive, for instance. There are glaring issues in the marking process that require serious attention, but beyond the assignment of the marks, I respect and appreciate the system.

Where do you see yourself after you graduate?   - In a word; successful - married, claimed, a tycoon in the business world with multiple homes and a legacy all my own. I want to sneer down at my father from my own, superior place in the world - and I will. I must.

As with all the Evans family, they grew up in poverty. Stevie grew up watching his older brothers scrap and put on a good face to try and hide how bad things were.  Though fun jokes and light hearted fun hadn't ever really kept Stevie from being aware that they didn't live like other folks. It had made Stevie grow up both idolising his brothers and parents, as well instil that need to make sure he was pulling his own weight in the house.  He was still fairly young when he finally got a job as a kitchen hand at a local restaurant. They were kind enough to pay him under the table and he'd often leave a envelope with some cash in it on Sam's or his parents desk without comment.  Everyone knew they needed the money, so the underage work and the legality of it all went unsaid.  After all it wasn't like some of the other members of the family weren't doing worse than simply washing dishes. 

As Stevie grew up, he stayed in the same kitchen that had hired him. Moving up from kitchen hand to helping in the kitchen proper. It. It helped him bring food home when there was left overs and he ultimately had something of a love for cooking. Though, perhaps that was more the sense of warmth it bought when he could pass out plates of food for his family. 

When Stevie was given the switch mark, he wasn't too surprised. Though he tended to lean dominant- he knew he enjoyed giving people some sense of security and being able to ground them. And that was something he could do regardless of the mark.

What are your feelings about the mark you have received? 

Fine. I mean- I'm sort of a people pleaser but more because I want to be there for people. You know? Give them what they need. And sometimes it's a strong hand and sometimes it's a softer touch. And I think there's a good balance there where I am right now. 

How do your feelings on the system compare to your parents’ feelings on it?

I mean it sort of is what it is, right? The system is there. Honestly I was more worried about my brothers going though it then my parents worries. You know? But it seemed to work out, more or less. 

Where do you see yourself after you graduate?  

I mean Sam has that whole Evans House thing but honestly I haven't thought that far ahead on my own plans. Hopefully, you know, I have a claim and some sort of security in my job.  Maybe get into social work? I haven't really figured it out.

BIO 

Elliott was a very a-typical young boy growing up, he had his group of friends in school, participated in sports, got along with his siblings and did his best to make his parents proud of what he was becoming. It grew increasingly hard as their older brother Cooper was the golden child so Elliott kept to himself. Finding refuge in books and swimming.

As he got older, the time was looming for them to go to Stonewall Prep to truly begin his journey, but Elliott wanted to experience more of life before committing completely to the process, so he competed in swimming competitions around the country, reading as many books as he can and also getting experience with others. Elliott doesn’t talk of his love life much because there is not much to talk about, he lost his virginity in high school to his girlfriend at the time but he found his interests also aligned with men so he explored both sides. But his time travelling around the country also enabled him to meet new people and get experience.

It wasn’t until he was at a swimming meet that as he got his medal, was when it really clicked that he wanted to find someone. Be in a claim and start his life. Swimming only did so much for him and the casual sex would only go so far. So once he finished his circuit, Elliott packed his bags and headed for Stonewall Prep.

What are your feelings about the mark you have received? I’ve always felt more inclined in both directions so to speak, enjoying control but more than happy to let it go for someone else. So it tracks.

Being raised in the Anderson family meant that appearance was everything. The perfect nuclear family, always presenting their best faces forward. Never even a hair out of place. Which was exception hard with Jude’s hair that never seemed to cooperate and needed to be plastered down into submission. It seemed his older brother Cooper never had a problem being perfect at everything, tall, blue eyes and a smile that could bring the world to their knees. Most importantly, a Dominant. The pride and joy of the Anderson father. Everything that Jude was expected to live up to and always compared to. Sometimes it could be suffocating trying to rise to those expectations but it also helped motivate him to be a better version of himself than he was yesterday. Everything he did was an attempt to move out of that powerful shadow. Including allowing his dad to teach him anything and everything there was about cars and engines or playing all the sports he knew his parents would approve of if just to have them at his games and feel their pride for just a few moments.

The first time Jude realized he wasn’t exactly like the other guys on his team was in the 7th grade. During a time when all kids are going through puberty and discovering who they really are; Jude found himself with lingering gazes on, not on girls but rather other boys. When his friends talked about wanting to kiss or date the girls in their class, he found himself daydreaming about the cute boy from Social Studies. It took a while and some carefully worded questions, afraid that he was broken in some way, to an older mentor that he was able to conclude that he was gay. Jude being Jude meant that once he reached that epiphany, there was no way of keeping quiet about it. 

However, in hindsight, he probably shouldn’t have been as impulsive and rash as coming out to his entire school in one big show by confessing to the boy he had a crush on through song. That moment was when he lost a lot of the people he once considered his friends and the bullying started. Every day, without repose, he couldn’t escape the hateful words, alienation, or shoves in the hallways. Being smaller than the average boy, made Jude an even bigger target, often finding himself stuffed into small places or knocked down by guys twice his size. 

It seemed like there was no ending in sight and it all climaxed the night Jude went to a school dance with a friend, the only other out gay guy at their school. That night a bunch of his former teammates jumped them in the parking lot, beating both boys within inches of their lives. That incident landed Jude in the hospital for months and by the time he was released, he refused to go back to that school. Instead, he begged his parents to enroll him in a private school, where he felt much safer. Though safer was for a long time a relative word as it took a long for him to get over the PTSD from the attack. If it hadn’t been for a new friend he made, that pulled out more of Jude’s inner personality and confidence, he probably wouldn’t have survived it.

For a while, it seemed like life was going exactly how Jude wanted. But, the thing about life is, that it never goes according to plan. 

He was Jude’s first boyfriend. His very first boyfriend. 

While Jude had always given off an aura of experience, maturity, and knowing more than he did; truth be told, he was clueless. It had been the first time someone made him feel like the center of the universe. As though he were the sun and everything they had spent their whole life searching for. And in his youthful hopeless romanticism, he missed all the red flags and signs of danger. He didn’t notice how his life started revolving solely around him or when he started becoming more controlling and demanding. One day Jude, a social butterfly extrovert,  looked around and found himself isolated and alone. Systematically his boyfriend had removed everyone else from his life. A lot of them out of jealousy, accusing Jude of wanting to cheat on him or that they were people who wanted to break them up. Jude lost contact with a lot of close friends and people he cared about or who cared about him. Including his own twin brother and his Dom who had been a close friend.

Day after day, it seemed like they were fighting more than they were communicating. When Jude felt like enough was enough, he tried to end things. While he had tried to break up with him, his boyfriend refused to accept it. Which resulted in Jude being stalked, threatened and then one day he woke up tied up, being held captive. His ex kept ranting about how he wasn’t going to allow Jude to throw him away or allow him to be claimed by anyone else. For a week, Jude endured it all. Every indignity. Every abuse. He did everything he could to survive and appease his ex until finding his opportunity to escape. It wasn’t easy but once he was able to get free of the bondages, Jude ran like hell and never looked back. 

He kept running until he found himself in a new state altogether.

It took a while for Jude to rebuild his life, though he didn’t tell anyone about that incident. Mostly out of shame and embarrassment, but also because he was afraid of seeing pity in their eyes. As far as anyone knew, he left to chase his dreams. The selfish part of him dropping everyone and everything to go after that coveted spotlight. Which, he did find, eventually. It took a lot of hard work. Dragging himself from open audition to open audition, pounding the pavement, networking, and working in the ensemble or chorus before landing himself a starring role. Finally, Jude saw his name on the marquee and the posters originating a leading role. But… with that role came fame and publicity, his face and name everywhere. It didn’t take long before his ex found him. And even though Jude had put all of that behind him, working through it all with therapy, there was still some residual fear. As soon as his run and time on the stage ended, again he once again was running. This time, however, it wasn’t to somewhere new but home. Back to where he knew he’d have some safety.

What are your feelings about the mark you have received? 

At first… It was a little hard to accept. Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t have any delusions that I would be a Dom but I had always assumed that when the time came;  I would be at the very least a Switch. After all, I didn’t fit the stereotypes of what a sub was supposed to be. I’m not meek, or complacent, nor do I let people push me around or try to make me feel less than. I’ve always been very extroverted and athletic, excelling at everything I did. However… after a while, I realized that all of that was just internalized prejudices. It was all assumptions I made based on what other people had always told me what a sub was supposed to be and not what they actually were. There is so much diversity and variety in sub because no two people are alike. While I wish we lived in a world where we weren’t stuck with labels on us, I’ve come to accept my mark and even connect with it in a way that makes me love it and myself more. And I guess, yes, I do have more submissive tendencies in me and enjoy the idea of being claimed by someone that I can spend my life making happy. A lot more than I realized.

How do your feelings on the system compare to your parents’ feelings on it?

Ah. Well, that’s a bit tough. My parents have an old-fashioned way of viewing the world. They like to believe in going with the status quo. While I agree on some level with some of the systems, I also believe in progress. In order to survive things need to evolve and keep progressing forward or else everything will be lost. 

Where do you see yourself after you graduate?  

Ideally with someone that I can spend the rest of my life growing with. Someone who respects me and the vision I have for my future and will work with me to build a future together

How do you feel about authority?

While it should be respected, it shouldn’t be followed blindly and never questioned. There are rules and order for a reason. It keeps people safe and protected but when it starts to be abused and used as a tool to control people or discriminate against people; then it’s time for a change.

It felt like their town was in a pressure cooker, heat slowly rising and everything ready to blow until there was nothing left. Every week it felt like there was something worse happening. A killer on the loose, trailer parks burning down and that was on top of the normal navigating drama between friends and relationships. So, finding a minor escape in a place not very many people would think of to find him and with someone who was — 

Abs… Shirtless… Roman… Holy cow… 

Of course, he had expected to find the Serpent relaxing after a long day but he hadn’t prepared himself for the possibility of seeing Roman like this – pants that had to have been put on in a hurry were hanging low enough that Jude could see the curve of his hips, the deep-set v-line, tanned muscles toned and hard from construction and – no he wasn’t staring! 

At least that’s what Jude was telling himself as he forced his gaze to focus on Rome’s face, not that was much of a distraction either. It reminded him why helping his friend choose clothes for a date had been so hard… not hard but difficult. Yes, it was difficult because they had a tension between them that they both ignored because as people who had feelings for other people, it wouldn’t be right. Even though lately Jude was feeling more lonely in a relationship than he did out of one… However, he loved Dare with his whole heart so he could endure anything. Even if his body was not on the same page at this moment.
